Nature along the trip

Wanted to work on my scrapbook of this trip to Mount Mitchell so I was happy to see a nice scketch for these two pictures which were for the next page in my book.  Paper Craft Star had the perfect one... and it was a challenge so there you go... I was in. 

I also combined a few other challenges with this page... Like the Flutter by
Wednesday, where I added the three buttons and also the picture has a butterfly and I also have a brad that is a dragonfly...

Cute Card Thursday asks for a bird or butterfly... I have a butterfly...
And Creative Belli Blog asks for B Embellishments... I have buttons, brass and brad... 3 B's...

Anyway I loved doing this page, and the only part that really didn't show up good in the picture is the white area is embossed with Swiss dot.

What a pretty flower this is and the butterfly just posed for quite a long time... just enjoying the sun and the warmth of the rock..  so pretty. 

I used K and Company paper for this page, and Inkadinkadoo stamps.  Martha's punches made the blue scalloped edges.. and I used a corner punch by Fiskar for the white corners..  I wrote the word Nature with a white gel pen...

Another page done... and hopefully will be able to get this book done prior to Christmas... as I will most likely give it as a present to our son.  He will love it.. another dust collector... LOL.. How often do you look at these books after you get them done??? But they are fun to look at once in a blur moon.. ... and I love to make them... so I am happy...
