Brutus

Tea Pot Tuesday are always a fun filled time... it is a game or funny game challenge.. and I love every minute of it...

I also created this card using the Sketch from Midnight Madness... so this is a three way challenge card..

The story for this one is complex.. but it you want to read it all... here it is..

This is what Cindy... aka Mother Mark wrote this week..

Note: Anyone is welcome to play! Also, you do not have to write a story. You just have to be inspired by the teapot or by the story about this week's location! Have fun!

This is my story!

1. Tee Hee! Lookee here! I got this awesome little chocolate bunny teapot from my friend Pat Smethers. She's said that she about flipped when she saw it, she kept her eye on it for quite some time. First it was $29.99, then reduced to $19.00 and then went all the way down to $5.00! Now DATS whut I'm talkin' bout! Snort! Just goes to show you, if you are persistent and patient you will be rewarded. However, sometimes, the lady before you will spend $19.00 and you're outa luck, Buck! Snort! I think she bought it around Easter last year cuz she said it gave her serious giggles for a year! By the time she packaged it up and spent the postage to get it to me, I am sure she was back up to $29.99! You shouldn't have Pat! But I am so glad you did! Thank YOU!!!!

2. When seeing this teapot, I was moved to write a little poem!

Meet Brutus, the Bunny
Who's just a smidge funny!

He's totally of his rocker,
I know! It's a shocker!

His mom, bless her heart,
It's been hard from the start!

And throughout the years,
She's been driven to tears!

There! Look at that! He peed on that log!
What is his problem? He's a wannabee dog!

Be quiet! You'll hear it! The most incredible moan,
It's the pleasure he gets from his big juicy bone!

He's been known to just hollar!
It's pink! Not a dog collar!

He's a disgrace to all rabbits,
with the most annoying of habits!

He hates those orange carrots
Gives them all to the ferrets!

And when there's work to be done,
To bring children some fun....

He just sits on his keester,
Ignores all that is Easter!

Can you see? Don't you see? Why Thumper and Peter,
Are completely convinced, he's a big Easter Cheater!

Awww...Come on There Brutus!
Help us out or just shoot us!

Look at me! Look at me! I'm not a big fake!!
Look at me! Did you see? Now I can shake!!

(That's a puppy dawg shake ifn' ever I saw one!)

3. So, here's the story, Mory! Mory is Brutus' best friend. He's a ferret and the recipient of many a carrot! (At least 42,000!) He's a little reserved, a little shy, not a *in your face* kinda guy! He's not quite sure how to handle this whole identity crisis for his friend, Brutus. Part of him wants his little buddy to be a dog but part of him loves his cute widdo bunny friend! One thing is for certain, he is tired of stressing about this dilema. That's where we come in!

4. With only about a week before Easter, we need to either convince Brutus to be a bunny and step up to the plate and help out at Easter. Or we need to convince him to leave that life behind permanently and buy a new dog house! So, depending on your most valued opinion of this whole deal, bring a bunny, an Easter basket, pink ribbon or a carrot or two. On the other hand, bring a fire hydrant, a collar, a dog house or a dog bone or two! And if you are the wishy washy type (like me!) then bring a doggie in a bunny costume! Snort! You know the drill!

And this is what I wrote for the card above....

I made this card for Three Challenges this week… One was Betty’s Color Challenge… and this week the colors are Teal, Saffron, and Basic gray… with a flower for dessert…

Also for Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge…

And also for Mother Mark Tea Pot Tuesday … which is what the following story is all about… the beginning of the story can be found at

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=16407277#post16407277

Well here is my story… Brutus was trying to figure out which direction he wanted to go in… and was still thinking … thinking and more thinking… and all of a sudden his little Friend, Marissa, came over to help him…and she sat the quietly while he was meditating on his dreams… she didn’t quite know how to talk to him… and finally she spoke in a rather loud Bunny Voice.. which to you and me would sound like a growl… She asked him what he was thinking about… and he said that he was having these funny dreams about what he would look like if he was dog… Brutus??? A dog… with blue nail polish on his toe nails… with a blue collar around his thick neck??? He didn’t know if he could take it… and then he would start to think about the fact that maybe he would be better off being a pig… piggies were really cute… but he tried to visualize himself with dark gray polka dotted skin.. and he thought that would be really wild… and that is when Marissa came along… Oh wow… she smelled so bunny wonderful and he really did love her… she was one of the sweetest bunnies in all of Bunnyville.. and wow… she was over here trying to help HIM…. Brutus… the mess up… she really was showing him all kinds of love and affection… so maybe he needed to stop for awhile … and rethink this whole thing about being a true Bunny for Easter and do the Easter thing… and then ask Marissa to Marry him… Oh he had a lovely new house all picked out… but maybe he should really be a piggy.. or maybe a puppy… that was still running thru his head… but all of a sudden…. Marissa looked at him… and batted her beautiful eyes… and he felt his heart leap…. And he went and signed up to help out on Easter… the rest is all “his story”… and he keeps on telling all of his 42,000 kids the same story every year at this same time of year….

The funniest part of the whole story is that Mory is still running around looking for more carrots… he found a stash of carrots the other day.. and is so happy… he claims that there are over 42,000 in just one pile… and there are 42,000 piles of carrots… oh my goodness must be a carrot mess… Oh well Mory is happy in Carrot land… and that is good..

Thanks for visiting my Blog... have a wonderful day...

Teal Medallion

The color challenge for Tuesday the 30th of March was Teal, Saffron and Basic gray... a dark gray... so here is my card.. or at least one I made with this color combo... I make the tea bag for this challenge and then made the medallion... using two different folds and stacking one on top of the other... to create this really wild medallion..

I also used my newest punch by Blue Hill to create the white 'doily' in the background of the medallion...

Martha's punch was used for the teal border... and Bazzill paper was used for the card... love that paper...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit... hope you will come back soon...

Queen for the Day...

A new fun games has started on SCS... and it is called Queen for the Day.. and this week it was Pat Smethers... She is one of the sweetest gals that you would ever want to meet... so very gentile and lovingly so.. in all ways... and very real.. so it genuine in all ways... a real SWEETHEART... and her work is out of sight...

We had to go into her gallery and choose a card and then make a few changes (called Casing) and then publish the card..

Well how can you change perfection??? So I didn't... I did have to use a few different papers, as I didn't have the EXACT ones.. but they are not too far off... let me tell you!!!! I didn't have the same flowers at all... but pretty close looking... and I didn't have the stamp that said Faith... so I wrote LOVE... .I love this card... and I gave it a very good friend the next day to remind her of Self Love... to make sure that she doesnt forget to love herself... which so many times we put ourselves on the bottom of the list... and never give ourselves the respect that we need.. So I hope that she really starts to Self Love herself ... and will cherish herself...
This card is the same except for the stamp.. but again very close...

Pat your gallery was a fun place to visit... but hard to pick out whick ones I wanted to case... there were way too many wonderful cards...

Thanks for taking a visit at my blog... and please come back soon...

Create your own background

Oh these inspirational Saturdays... I love them... this week we had to go to t his really lovely site and find something that really inspired us to create... there was way too much eye candy.. but I settled on this one packaging... and it was leaves with the over lay as I have done..

So with this in mind... I will tell you how I created this background... and maybe you will try it yourself..

First, I chose a stamp ... which I chose the sage leaves by Fred Mullet... I love those stamps... anyway.. .I took a piece of white paper and with resist... stamped a number of times on the white paper... then I used Ranger white embossing powder and heated.. then I repeated but this time I used Ranger Stream Embossing powder... then I used my twinkling H20's and spritzed the background... using the Key Lime... and also the solar gold... love the look and the color it turned out... Now I have a piece of paper that is 8.5 X 11 and way to big for a nice 5x7 card... so I SCAN it into my computer... and then print it out so that it is 3x5... a perfect size for my card front... I use a couple of punches by Martha... mixing them.. I used the branch on the sides... adn the butterfly on the corner... perfect for this theme... added a BG paper by K and Company... and mounted my leaf paper onto it... For the focal point... a layered butterfly... with some Liquid Pearls by Ranger... I loved making this card...
Hope that you will try making a background like this... they are fun.. .and I never get bored of making them..

Have a wonderful day..

Whipperstampers meeting

Oh I am so sorry that I have not been able to write more often.. .so many things have to be done at this time of the year with the farm.. planting of all the spring seeds and plants, which we do plant a lot of different things... kales, swiss chard, lettuces, sweet potatoes, sun chokes, carrots, tomatoes(2 kinds and over 120 plants... yikes.. a lot of tomatoes this year), peppers, okra, and green peas, a few others... that I seem to have forgotten at this point... but this year we are adding a few more too and it will be nice..... for us and also those that partake in the organic food with us... WE still will be planting for another two months... as we do grow year round... and new hoop houses to need to be put up and also additional new things will be added at this time... a busy time around Sunshine Valley Farm...

And then I went and joined another group... and also took on way too much more than I should have... but you know we always seem to get it all done... at least I try to.. even if I have to stay up a few nights to play extra time... what a fun time...

Anyway... at our monthly meeting in March.. we not only exchanged the Fat Book Pages for the African Book...( I will try and start to put some of these wonderful books up, so that you can enjoy them as much as we all do..) which were fantastic...

But we also made these Flower pots... along with a few other things... but I wanted to share these with you... these are a few that I made to share with the group...

You start off with a piece of paper that is about 5X11 and fold into three sections... two sections are the same size... (for the pot) which I think they were about 4" in length.. and then the rest was for the lip of the pot.. .and I used punches for that area... what a surprise... right???

Then you create a card... and attach the flowers to the card top.. making the card about 3.5 X 7 gives you a nice area to create and put flowers or berries or what ever... and also enough space for a message...

Add a bow.. and it is a nice gift/card to say Happy Spring, Happy Birthday or enjoy life...

Oh the first two shown here I used flowers using my own digital images... and then on this last one, I used some silk flowers... a totally different look..

All are fun to do ... and also fun to receive...
Make sure you put a pretty bow on them... that is the finishing touch...

Hope you will try one...

Koi

I had gotten out all my Tea Bag 'stuff' to create a special medallion.. and when doing so, had to make a wreath... sometimes you just don't have any control over why you HAVE to do something.. you just have to do it... well that is the way it was yesterday... So I used the Lotus spellbinder template and then put the wreath on the top of that... I love the look... and then of course made the rest of the card... using the cuddlebug Asian Koi folder I then painted with H20's.. and then put onto the backgrounds... a really nice card...

It does look a lot nicer in real life.. you can see the fish better.. they are painted white.. and have a nice gloss to them..
I have been studying how to create the Chinese characters... and this one means Spirit.. I felt that the spirit of Tea Bag Folding needed to brought out again in my life.. .and also maybe I could get others excited about it again too.. I know that I have taught a lot of gals in our stamping group how to fold... do you ever create with these fun tiles and put the medallions on cards???? How about all the gals that bought CD's from me to learn how to create the medallions.. do you ever use the CD's... and do you ever make cards with the medallions... I love making these fun medallions or wreaths.. .they are so very majestic on a card.. and really makes one realize that they are a special person when they receive not only a hand made card.. but also a card with a medallion on it.. .Each medallion takes about 10 minutes or longer to create.. the one on the page in the book that follows... a little longer, because it is a double medallion... about 15-18 minutes... a special treat...

Well thanks for checking in.. Hope you have a fun day... and it if you have any tea bag tiles... get them out and create a medallion... get those fingers to folding again..

A Traveling Book

A few weeks ago( A little bit longer... but isn't that how a good story starts) , a very good friend of mine, asked me if I would like to join a group of gals that is just starting to form... and I jumped o the chance to make make a new book...

Anyway the group is now called the Pearly Girls and we meet every two weeks to swap our books out for a new one to work on... Each gal has her own theme... and has created a book for each of us to work on a section in that book.. .the themes seem like fun... one is Random ARTiFACTS, what I love about living in the Carolinas, Recipes, hats, Design, and Nature... mine is getting to know you, since I only know one gal in the group and would like to get to know each one...

So in my book, they have two pages and can do anything that they desire... to create an area that is 100% representative of themselves...
So on these two pages... I have created things that are so me... Each gal has to create a pocket and in that pocket, they need to put a picture of themselves... and also put some facts down too... info that will let me know who they are...

I think that you can see from these pages that they tell who I am... and what I like... on the page with the daisies...(They are my favorite flower... for those that didn't know that... ) there is a book.. and in the book are all kinds of things like my favorite color, the loves of my life... including Glenn and other important facts... in the pocket is a book I created that has all my ART loves in my life... that is why it has legs on that pocket... LOL.. I love to draw legs onto things... Also my love of making medallions from Tea Bags that I have designed... so I had a lot of fun with these pages... Of course it is done 100% with Twinkling H20's... I just love those little paints...

The Cover... I used a Bare Naked Book by Bo Bunny and covered it with K and Company paper... and then added this painting ... I love the effect that I got... a nice release technique... embossing, and then painting (h20's) and then salting.. .and then finally using pearl Ex to accent the areas needed... Love it..

A little fiber... and it is ready for it's journey...
I will show you the other pages I create in each persons book.. and when this gets back I will share the pages that have been created in it... I think this will be a very fun project... and I am excited about being part of this group.. .

I do hope that you will enjoy the trip too..
Have a wonderful day... and enjoy creating something SPECIAL for YOU...

Taking a much needed nap

Oh this cute little mouse on a sunflower... I just love this House Mouse stamp... such a cutie... This was a sketch challenge for Midnight Madness... and I used the making a brick wall technique ... it is really quite easy once you have done it...

First off... you stamp you image onto the paper... or if you are using a digital image... you print it out... then you fully color it the way you want it... on this one I used colored pencils... and then used chalks on the edges... they are very faint... but the color is very noticeable in real life...
Next you then take a pencil and ruler.. you start by drawing lines across the picture at 1/2 inch marks... make the lines on the actual picture... don't make them real heavy... just so that you can see them... then do the same going up the picture.. but only put the lines every other line going across.. and alter the lines as well... that will give you a brick wall look... then cut them apart and glue them into place.. erase any of the pencil marks... I glued mine onto black card stock... leaving just a little bit of the black showing... A very fun way to show off a cute stamp... such as this one is...

I made a huge background with a piece of dark green card stock to show off the K and Company green gingham... I used that new punch set with the birds and twigs... love it.. so cute.. the entire card is mounted onto a pretty green bazzill card stock... love that paper too..

Hope you enjoy this technique... try it someday.. .real soon.. it is fun and the look is awesome... Thanks for stopping by my Blog.. and have a wonderful day...

Tea Pot Tuesday ...

Tuesdays are always a fun day... three challenges... and I love doing them all.. this one is really the funniest of all the challenges... as Cindy the hostess with the mostest is a riot... in all ways...

She creates funny cards, and always has a story line like you wouldn't believe... Anyway this week are to take shoes to this flat footed bird... so here is my shoe.. this bird loves polka dots... and wants to fit in with all her friends...

So hopefully this will help her...
A real hoot of a group... I love it all...
Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Color challenge is for Tuesday...

Today's color challenge... Eggplant, orchid and olive... three colors that I happen to love...alone, together and mixed any which way... so I had no problem with this one, except what to do...

I used a butterfly that Victoria gave me.. thanks Victoria... I love it... she gave me two... and I used the larger one on this card...

I also used a lot of background sheets.. all punched with butterflies or pansies... and then a few violets...

This card also was made using the layout for Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge... I love these sketch challenges... they always make me put so much into a card... but still I learn from it... as I have this one... Priscilla and the design group did this one too... and I love it... They are looking for more people to join their challenges.. so you can do this too... go to http://priscillastyles.blogspot.com/ on Tuesday morning and you will see the challenge right there... it is always fun, and you can use Mr. Linky to link your card to their blog... a fun experience...

Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a wonderful spring day... the cherry trees are blooming around here... so very pretty.. love it... so pretty... Spring is a time of many colors... all blending together to say Hello...

Making your own background papers

I love to make my own background papers... so this challenge wasn't really a challenge at all.. but of course I had to make a few cards...

This one I used a paper that I made... and then I put the paper into the scanner and copy it... I can that way use it many times...

I used my H20's... and them embossed all different type of stamps to create an explosion... it is called Spring explosion... I also love to do 3D's so this was really a fun card for me..

This was a card for a very special gal on line... her name is Mutnik... a funny to the bone humor person, with a great deal of talent to create fun loving and very very unique cards.. So we had to case her... which means to go into her gallery and make a card that copies hers but you add a few changes... so this is my card ... I used two of her cards... one had the technique called black magic.. where you stamp on black paper with white ink ... and then color the item.. it is really very showy type of stamping.. so I did this... and Cathy the gal who we were casing had made a card... with a pile of rocks... and a huge bear... and she titled the card... Hi Honey I'm Home... so that is the title of this card too.. LOL.. Cathy is a hoot in all ways... so funny.
Hope you enjoy this.. and enjoy the site today...
Thanks for visiting me... Love, Light and Peace..Bonnie

Saturdays' Inspiration...

Every Saturday the challenge on SCS takes us to a wonderful site on line to become inspired.. sometimes I really get over worked.. or could become overworked.. I have to limit myself... trying not to be so addicted to card making... LOL... right!!!!

Anyway.. I was stimulated to draw this strawberry and add it to the digital images on Pretties by Bonnie.. I just love strawberries... so this is one stimulation.. I also got to use a few new toys too..

I love this border of strawberries by spellbinders... it is going to be a favorite that is for sure..

Also I love the border and corner punch I used.. it is like a double X... really love it.. .also gives a fence look.. or trellis look... a few leaves added and I was a happy camper..

This card also was inspired... I love butterflies and so this one was a must.. .a few sheets of paper.. all white of course to show off the beautiful butterflies.. one is punched with the butterfly corner and border.. and t he center is the cherry blossom from the Asian folders... love that one too..
I then made 3 layers of butterflies to show the action of the larger one... and only 2 on the smaller ones.. .I love this pink and white card.. so delicate...

Hope you enjoy it...
Have you ever made an all white card.. I love to make them... and then maybe add a pastel color flower or something...

Try it...
Have a fun day... and thanks for stopping by to see my cards... and paper playing .. .

Fairy Tales

Today the challenge was to use a fairy tale as an inspiration... and to add some bling!!!! Oh my... what a thing to do to me... I just got all these new Martha punches... and so I had to share some... they are so wonderful...

The Butterfly one... doesn't every fairy tale have butterflies in it... of course they do... so I got to use one punch here... and then used a butterfly 3D for the focal point... and I used stickles (glitter glue) all over the butterflies and the flower.. simple enough and so very pretty...

Then I had this other set.. the bird and twig... how cute is that... I used a gold pen to add some 'glitz' to this ... but really didn't want it too glittery... not that type of card to me... I also used another new punch in the corners...
The birds are a resist on glossy paper... and then I used reinkers by Ranger for the coloring...

Also some blue pearls on the twig as berries...

A huge Navy 1.5 inch wide ribbon... and with the bow maker a snap.... love the bows.. thanks again Cheryl... love it...

The card that took me so very long to make.. the Princess and the frog... I had all this frog paper... and have been waiting to use it.. I love the paper... but not really with this delicate princess... but the story is as it is ... so the rough and the delicate is what it was...

I used another punch set... the flower... wow love it too.. .and then I used a new Spellbinder set... love that one too.. So much to play with... and I love them all... what to use first is the question...

Also finally I got my deep vine edger... I love that...
I really wanted that one... and finally ... yes finally got that one...

So I hope you have enjoyed these today... I had fun making them... and now have to finish up some samples for the stamp group meeting for next week... have a couple more to make and then take pictures.. and mail to all the gals...
not a big project... but one that has to be done today...

Thanks for taking a look and please come back to visit again soon.. .love, light and peace...Bonnie

Do Please take a look at my other blog... more and different cards over there... have a fun day.

For a Loving cause

These cards were sent to a young woman in Colorado that has just found out that she has cancer... and is also pregnant with her first baby... a Happy time and also a sad time... but a time to grow ... so hopefully the cards that are going to her will help her to get thru this tough time in her life..

I had to make a couple to send to her... the Bunny was also created at the same time...

If you look on Pretties by Bonnie you will see all the details on the Bunny card...

This little girl, ( a clip art ) is sending wheelbarrow loads of love to this young gal..

I also used a few more new spellbinders on this card... I love all the new ones that I bought... but am having to figure out how to use them all.. the green background is paper that I painted with twinkling h2o's... and then used this label die on it... very attractive shape... and then I used the fair isle behind it... just for a touch of white...

The flower is from Pretties by Bonnie.. please visit over there too.. lots of other cards and fun things... I also layered this flower two times... painted them with H20's and then added Dimensional pearls in the center... The little bird, also a Pretties by Bonnie was also painted with h2o's...

On the inside I continues the theme which was quilted with love, by adding more of the one inch squares that are all aroudn the edge of this card... and put more on the inside... along with a paper edged with butterflies...

If you would like to send a card to this gal, please e-mail me at bongem@earthlink.net and I will send you the address... I know that all the cards that she receives will be welcomed...

Thanks for taking a look at my blog... and also for stopping by...

Violets for You

Another Vintage card... with lots of paper lace.. and I used my violets from Pretties by Bonnie... If you haven't gone over to see all the cards and images I do hope you will.....

I have been adding more as time passes...

On this card, I used a stripe piece of paper in the background... and then behind the little girl(which is a clip art picture) I used a piece of paper that I made by painting with my twinkling h20's... and then cut with a label by Spellbinders.. of course the paper lace was made with another Spellbinder... love that one..

The violets are so vintage.. I had to use them for this challenge of creating a vintage card...

Thanks for visiting here today... love to have you come over here...

Love. Light and Peace....Bonnie

Heart Vintage style

On this challenge we were suppose to crate Vintage type cards... I love that type of card.. in fact most of my cards really have a vintage flair to them anyway...

This one I used a new set of Tapestry stamps... you know the little ones on the pegs... I love them... love creating with them... I should use them a little more often.. .they give such a lovely background of lush color and flowers... and you all know how I love flowers...

I also used a lot of spellbinders.. new ones that I just recently received... Love them all.. but this Grand lace... I love that one... It is a long template... and you could use it for a scrapbook page... so when I use it, I am able to use sections of it... great for me... as I love to save pieces I have created to use for other cards.. since this was vintage... I added a lot of paper laces... the others are created with Martha's punches...

To me, vintage is also the colors that are used... on this card... I used light and dark blue(navy) and then the bows are yellow... the pearls around the center label are purple also... to match the violet flowers...

Thanks for taking a look at my cards... and leave a comment around the blogs... become a follower... and enjoy in the fun of blogging...

3 challenges in one card!!!!

Wow... today I had so many things that I wanted to get done... and I really wanted to take the time to make a really special card for EACH challenge.. but time just didn't
allow me to do this today... so I thought about it all night in between dreams and night time thinking... and finally came up with this idea... making the gray (for which I have NO gray paper at all... light or dark...) the black and white floor... and then ... anyway... it went on like that for hours... finally I got up and made the card... I am tired.. but it has been a fun day...

The three challenges...
One was the Tea Pot Tuesday.. where we are going to London to see the Newest Johnny Depp Alice In Wonderland movie... and we are suppose to arrive to help out... so here I am... in all my glory... people flowers, and also the white rabbit... with the black and white floor...

The other challenge was a sketch Challenge by Midnight Maddness... and this was the sketch... and the last challenge was the color challenge, which I had the biggest problem with getting the colors to mix into my design... so I made the floor gray and white, in lieu of black and white... LOL... it works for me...
we also had to use a spellbinders for a border... so that is the trellis the flowers are climbing up...

A fun card.. and veyr challenging time wise.. but I got it done... and also got my newest addition ... Pretties by Bonnie published... and connected to this one... so please take a look see... the button to connect is on the right... Enjoy your visit there... and as always... thanks for stopping by here to visit and hope that you enjoyed your visit...

Love, Light and Peace.. Bonnie

Aricot Flowers

Oh I very rarely use this color and I do love it.. I love all colors... This all started when Holly told us for the Monday Challenge NOT to use any spellbinders... OMGoodness... what can we use.. was there ever life prior to Spellbinders???? I have only actually had spellbinders since Novemeber... so I can certainly remember life prior to them... and love still making cards with out them... this was done with a Fiskar circle cutter, and also a Blue Hill punch that creates a circle, oval, square and you name it... some people have said that they have problems with thiers... well use thinner paper... like computer paper... okay... you might only have white paper, but you can buy colored computer paper too... look for it... you will find it...

I also love this pad of K and Company paper... and found this scene that just needed some pretties next to it.. So I used some of the Pretties by Bonnie that you will be able to use now too.. got to my newest addition... there is a tab on the upper right to connect you to that blog...
Have fun...

I also added a little tiny tag that I made with a fiskar tag punch... and then put the little bird on it... Pearls in the centers of the flowers... and it is a wrap...Love using double sided papers, as you can use both sides... one for the for front and the other side for the background... as is shows here...

Have a fun day.. and thanks for taking a look... enjoy ..

Skaters delight

This was a challenge to go onto a site to look at all the skaters costumes from the figure skating and to become inspired to create a card from that... I chose this costume that Benjamin was wearing.. I loved the sleeves... and the air flowing thru the costume was wonderful... his partner was wearing black... thus the black on the card... the Lace' represents his sleeves... and the lines which I drew the flowing of the dance...

The white in the background the ice they were one.. and the shimmering of the ice is the bow.. just a flowing experience. Love the skaters... best part...

Have a lovely time creating... and enjoy every day of your life... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
