Fall is such a lovely time... on our farm the Teasel is all in full bloom and the finches are totally enjoying it... so are the butterflies and other beneficial insects... they are all so very important in our lives... and we should all be careful not to disrupt their lives..
Okay... today the Just Rite Challenge... wow... loved doing this... but I did have a lot of trouble trying to decide which stamps to use... but I chose the finch... it will not be long before they will head further south... so I am going to enjoy them while they are around here...
My card...
The sketch is just like this... the hard part was deciding what Spellbinders to use... and with what stamps...
I scored the back ground for additional texture... and also added The grand lace for more texture... and also part of the sketch... but the paper piercing is also added for texture. Such a lovely way to add textures to these cards...
Everything is popped and raised from the back of the card... and it is all very easily mailable too... generally my cards need a BOX... I am trying to get better though.... so that my mail bill will come down..
I stamped the bird twice and cut him out and popped him too..
Of course the outer ring is popped ... and the bow is added for color and zing!!!!
I did have fun with this card... and hoe that you have fun with this set of stamps.. they are really nice...
Have a lovely day... thanks for stopping by my Blog for a visit... and please come back soon...
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
Oh Bonnie
ReplyDeleteThis is such a wonderful card. Love the popped up look on all the pieces and the autumn leaves that you incorporated into all the lace and all the wonderful texture.

Gorgeous card, Bonnie! Love the large amount of textured white space and the yellow ribbon which highlights the yellow in the finch! Speaking of insects...the stink bug is creating a stink in our locality...they are invading VA big time!
ReplyDeleteBonnie, your card is outstanding! I love the Goldfinch and some hang around for winter but mostly they move to other locations. They are so beautiful in the spring and summer, as you know. I love those JustRite stamps and you make them work so well on a card. Glad you did that pretty piercing and joined the Stampin B's this week.
