New BLOG!!!

This is so much fun..  The first time I heard about blogging... I thought that is not for me.. I am on dial up... and I would spend my life uploading pictures... well NOW I know it is only half of my life up loading pictures...  LOL...

Anyway... I have decided that I love teaching... and since I teach these classes in real life and so many of you can't get there... and have written to me asking for directions and kits, I decided that I would add this blog to my list of other blogs...

I have not made a banner yet for the blog... but you can click on the white on white card... and go to the Kre8tive Kits blog... and hopefully I will have a few more classes and kits available for you... most of the classes will be on line... thru the blogs... they are blind blogs.. so the only way you can get in is by buying the class or kit... and then you will be into the site of your choice... really easy.. and very effective...

Front of the white on white card

The first class which will be held this week-end at Scrapbook Creations is the White on White Card... it will be from 1- 4... In the class you will see all the cards that I have made that are white on white...  and also receive many useful hints and pointers about making white on white cards...

When you buy this as a kit, you will receive what is listed and also receive all these same pointers and suggestions...  and you will get to see 30 plus cards that have been made by me over the years..

I do hope you will take a look and also realize that at this point I only have 12 of these kits available for sale... so first come first served.  I do hope to add more... but trying to add all the other classes and kits too... so please be patient with me on this matter.  I totally appreciate this...

Thanks for taking your time to visit this site...

An Altered Alice

This month’s theme for the Altered Alice challenge is YELLOW…  I did create a page in my journal for Alice using yellow… but wasn’t totally satisfied with the pages… as far as meeting the challenge’s needs….  So in my dreams last night I created this ALTERED ALICE using all my new stencils… love it…
I had a blast doing it… and even though you can’t see all the stencils I used I had a blast…I was waiting for my husband... he was feeding the chickens... and I wanted to get this done prior to us going shopping...
So it took me about 25 minutes

to completely finish... FUN and easy!!!

I started off with antique linen and a tree stencil… and as you can see I have built up to yellows.. which is the theme of the challenge …  YELLOW…

And I think I used over 10 stencils on her hair… so very much fun to create HAIR from a pile of stencils.. and I love the flowers and leaves …. So uniquely ALICE…

Hope you like this fun piece… I really don't care for the face.. but I love... LOVE the hair!!!!  and I had a lot of fun creating it…  Have a good day… and ALTER  ALICE…

Philosophy of Spring

Sometimes things happen the way that they are suppose to happen and we just don't see it...  yesterday when I was making the little heart book I used a piece of cardstock to absorb the extra inks... and it left the most perfect hearts... and so I used that to start off this little booklet of tags...  it is for a friend that is healing from a very harsh surgery on her back... and is really doing remarkably well... but I love to send her things to get her back into the mood of creating... so this is coming your way Sandy in Michigan...  heal quickly.

I used some bits of pieces of things on my work table again... like a little piece of Graphic 45 paper ... a tag from Tim's easter collection that I was going to use on something else... but took it off... and some grand Lace from Spellbinders... I am getting ready for my White on White class this Saturday... and so I had some pieces of white on white things on my table...
On the back of the tag it was a little to messy to send to Sandy... as she is very very neat... while I am very messy at times... but it doesn't bother me at all... I have fun with my art and am very very FREE flowing... LOL.. sometimes a little bit too much.

Anyway... a few Geletos... Have you used any of them yet... I think I have the spelling correctly... but not really sure... so much fun... color crazy with them.. and then use a brush with some water and you get the prettiest looks... love them...  I had to get the WHOLE set of them... they are wild.

I also love the Chit chat words... and used a lot of them on the bck of this tag set...

A close up of the front sections...

Love the look...  and it is was a total mistake...  but I love it...

I dressed it up with the old line tag ... and also the words...  love it...

You can see that there are only the 4 hearts...  as that is what the little book had...

So great... two things from ONE...

This theme is for Simon Says Stamp and Show... I have done that here... and it was fun...  Thanks for the great theme...

Hope you have a wonderful day today... and thanks so much for stopping by for a visit...

The JOURNEY

 Good Morning Monday!!!!
Not really sure where the time is going to... but I am enjoying as much as possible... I am starting off the spring season with all kinds of good things... not only in my art ....which is the prime mover these days... but also in the house, and kitchen... canning has already started and I am loving it...  Love the look of these veggies all ready to be stored and eaten at a later date... LOVE IT...    So today is a GOOD day... in so many ways..

Of course Mondays is also a CHALLENGE day... and today this tag is for two of them... Stamper Sunday... Birds... and Simon Says Stamp and Show...  make a tag...  Generally when I start out I have a certain look I want... and today I got nothing at all onto the tag that I had planned!!!  LOL..I wanted a tag in the pocket... and I wanted a flying bird charm...  but.....

Oh well... I did have fun making the tag... Got very inky... which is a good thing... and used up some things that were on my work table that I didn't want to throw away... and wanted to use... so that is very good... I also pulled out and used some of the new things I had gotten a week or so... so that is fun to use NEW things...

This is the main part of the tag...  the little bird is from a TH die cut... and I used some distress stain to color it... then used a TH stamp to put the weathered lines on it... and then some TH tissue paper to make the wing.... do you think this is TH bird???  I think it is...

I then used a Key hole... TH Idea-ology...  as I wanted to make it a perch for the bird to stand on...  and then dangled the BREATHE philosophy word off the key plate with a new kilt pin... that is what I call those pins... as I always wore kilts in school when I was young... and was always loosing the pin...  My mother was always buying new ones.. they were a little bit larger than this one to say the least...  The pocket made from a paper that was embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and dyed with Mini misters I mixed... holds a little heart accordion book... which you will see more of below...  and a vial label with words from a TH stamp...

The words all around the tag are Chit Chat words from Idea-ology .... love them...  but I have a hard time finding the words I want... and then I go with another whole saying... a little bit of a brain storming session when I use them... but aren't they cute... I love them..
Here is my Heart book...  with little birds stamped on each heart... Inchies... love these stamps...  so cute too..

The heart is dyed with Victorian Velvet and Current dyes.. by Distress and Adirondack...  by Ranger...
On the back of the book... I stamped words and a little tiny bird stamp.. so sweet... and a place for a message of some kind...

I also have used a stencil on the top of the background .... after I had created my color of the tag with inks on my craft sheet....  I just assume that you everyone knows that... but hey... I love it all... and hope that you have a fun day creating too...

I have to do some things around the house this morning... and might be able to get back into the studio prior to dinner tonight...  we are having left overs tonight... as I really spent a lot of time yesterday cooking... and enjoyed that too...

Have a fun day... thanks for stopping by for a visit... and I hope you will come back again tomorrow... I am sure that I will have something new on here for you to see...

Sassy with an Attitude

The title says it all .... Sassy with an ATTiTUDE...  love it..
The colors are so very vibrant... which I love...  and the stamping was all FUN with all capitals...

On the other side of my life.. I have been having to help a lot around the farm.  This time of year we do a lot of planting, also harvesting starts...

I had to do something with the amount of asparagus we had… so that started this  whole process…

Glenn  has been picking asparagus every day for over 10 days… and each day the amount is larger and larger…. We were eating a lot of them… but not able to eat all of them… so today I HAD to do something with all of these asparagus… and we don’t like frozen foods… so that was out…

 soooooooooooooo

I  made some pickled asparagus… never done it prior to today… and I hope that they will be good… as I made a couple of gallons of them… LOVE ASPARAGUS… but ….  I needed to save some for when we don’t have them…  so will try these and see how they taste…

Okay… then I had all these precious ends of the asparagus, etc left over… and so I threw them into the Vita Mix… with some water and veggie bouillon… a few shallots… and wizzed that… and put into the large pot.. as I had a lot of ends etc…So that made into about 10 quarts of soup… will have to can some of that later on…

I had bought some nice Brussel sprouts and so I sauteed them with some shiitake mushrooms, and tempeh..  cooked that in the wok… really delicious…

I had a few cukes that I had paid a lot of money for.. so I had better use them in a salad… so I used some shredded daikon, sliced celery… and the cukes…  wow… and a nice avocado dressing for the salad… wow it is ever good…

Then I had to have a nice dessert for this dinner… so I made some wheat free brownies… and they are in the oven now…  will be done in a few minutes…

I have to say... as dinner is all over and the dishes are now done!!!!  That it was a delicious dinner... each dish was GREAT.... we loved it all... but I do have enough for about another 8 meals... so I am going to have to 'freeze' some of these things for another meal.... wow... I really made way to much.

Did you have fun so far today... go have some fun now... and enjoy it 100%...  believe me it is fun to play...  Hope you have fun doing it... and thanks for stopping by too... see you tomorrow... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Double bow and layers of fun

This is just a half a page in my journal... but still a statement... being that Winter is over... and spring is upon us... we really didn't have a winter... but a few weeks ago I realized that spring was here!!!  FULL BLOOM....

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.. I really love it when you stop by and love it even more when you say HELLO!!!

Thanks again...

Little ones are so special

Another page from my journal... I love adding different pieces of paper that show a single technique... like these two... embossing on metal... and then utee... and also added different things as stencils...  On the top of it all... a piece of clip art and also a sticker or two...  inspiration to go onwards....

Speaking of that.... yesterday I had a friend over to play... and as always I loved every minute of it... being with a friend... doing what you both LOVE... and enjoying it, is a wonderful gift of life...  After my friend left... my sweet hubby asked if I would help him do some planting... and I said in 20 minutes...(go drink some water...do my mail...  read a letter from another friend...and go help with seeds... YES!!!  )  I can do this.. .because I AM A WOMAN.... I had gotten my second wind... and was ready for the planting... we got a lot of things planted... meanwhile... my neighbor called... and we chatted for a little while... she is also a good friend... paper person... artist... book fiend... paper fiend...  all these good traits too... and she will be coming down tomorrow (down the hill... or as she and I say... downstairs... LOL... she lives up the hill from our driveway... )  upstairs... right Sande???

Okay... so we got the planting done... a thunderstorm hit us... we both get wet... and came in and changed... upstairs (in our home)  fixing dinner... what she we have... we knew we would have noodles and ASPARAGUS.... they are coming in full force this week...  we have over 5 pounds in the refrig...  love them... we will have a good meal of them tonight...  purple and green ones... love the purple ones best... and not because of the color... just the variety are so GOOD and SWEET...

Scratching head... what to make...  okay.. noodles... with some nice raw zucchini noodles... (I shred zucchini into the noodle shape... )  and piled them onto the cooked rice noodles... (we don't eat wheat... as it is bad for  proper digestion... )   Then a huge helping of Steamed asparagus on the side... and topped with a nice large spoon full of sauteed Shiitake mushrooms... they are so delicious... love them...   (they are Asian Oyester mushrooms... having different healing properties and so delicious.)     That was our dinner...  of course the mushrooms really were the only 'fat' in the meal... as I sauteed the mushrooms in REAL RAW BUTTER... love it...  so good... that is what we call GOOD FATs...  so good for the body...

Well that was our dinner... and it was delicious... and my tummy is very very happy tonight...  We try to eat most of our veggies raw... as they are  so much better for you raw... we did have the zucchini raw... but the asparagus which we have been eating raw were steamed for a few minutes tonight... just to give them a little bit of heat... but would also be considered raw... as they didn't go over 118 degrees... and were only 'steam'ed for a couple of minutes... maybe 1.5 minutes...  think about the food you eat... how close to nature is it...

My Hubby and I have been trying to watch Dr. Oz... he has some interesting info on there...  he is very alternative ... and healing is a process that we all need to do all the time... getting our bodies as clean as possible and also as healthy as possible...  Okay.. now I am stepping off my soap box...  but be healthy...  eat whole foods.. not processed... I am off the box...

Have a GREAT day... create something FANTASTIC ... and plan on sending it to someone special...  April is coming soon... and there are always a lot of April Birthdays...  so make some pretty cards...

This is one of the pages from my art journal... thought that I would share some of the pages prior to retiring the book..

Be TRUE

I love to doodle and draw.. if you are unaware of this... check out all the books I have published of my doodles... I really LOVE to doodle...  when talking on the phone, listening to someone talk, or just enjoying life... all times to doodle.... this is a combination of all of these... but also feelings...

I love the glimmer of this page... I used a light coating of silver matte finish on the daisy... and it is so very pretty in real life... wish the picture showed you better... oh well...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope that you have a wonderful day...  Love, Light and Peace.. Bonnie

Seperate and together

I love to journal... I have done it for years in all different modes... and I have to say that my art journals have always been my favorite ones... when we moved from the North east to the south.. I had to leave a lot of things behind... and a lot of my art work was given and sold so that we could leave the area... I am not sad at all.. a clean slate is good...  change is good... and I have way more now than I need... LOL... way too much in fact...

Okay this page... a fun page... the color on the base of the paper is all misted and smeared with mini misters, or cleaned up from something... you never know... as I can't really remember either... LOL... but the color was nice so I didn't toss the paper... (truth be known ... I don't toss papers at all.. they are all used in some way!!)  So then I started the process... adding stenciled area on the right had side... some liquid pearls... and then on the left I used a 6x6 stamp with some Dabber white on it... and stamped... I love the effect... I think I might have been washing the paint off of the stamp ... and decided to see if it still had enough pigment to color anything... wow it did... I did this to a couple of sheets of paper...  love it... Added a vintage clip art piece of two girls and a puppy dog... and then a few flowers... You will have to take one of my up and coming flower classes to see how the flowers are done.. fun and recycled... 100%...  a little leaf that I stamped and cut out for the flowers...

What a fun page... love it...

Hope you have a nice day... create something wonderful for yourself... and enjoy it...  Thanks for stopping by for a visit... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Go GREEN

Go Green is a color Challenge over at  Inspiration Journal  which I always look at and then run out of time to create something... so this week I finally did create something for JUST this one challenge.... I love Shelly's work... and I wish I could get onto your blog to see it all a little closer and also leave a comment... dial up just doesn't even let me on your site... let alone see anything... boo hoo... so I have to run around to all these other places and see a little here and there... LOL... so Shelly this Piece is for YOU... Go GREEN...      Have you even used the technique of 'smearing' ink or spritzers onto your craft work sheet... and when you pick up the paper the center is not what you wanted at all.. well that is what this paper was... so into the use it again pile it went... this next time it was used, I tried this new stencil on it... and I LOVED the paper...  wow.. it just jumped out at me... and it was perfect for this challenge...   and also decided to add a white border around this special piece for the Gingersnap challenge... of Spicy Supply challenge to use a border punch...
And I also guess because I added some paper flowers... I should tell Hels about it...  on Sunday Stamper
Since I have so much fun.. things just keep on coming up that I have to add for all these GREAT challenges..  I hope you can see the depth of this piece.. I might add it to a page in my journal... or maybe a card.. or maybe who knows what... do you have any ideas... let me know... thanks..

Anyway... the message is really the most important message of all time...
The most important person in the world is YOU...  don't forget it... you are loved by many...

Hope you have a wonderful day... create with love... and enjoy every minute of it..
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie..

CREATE with LOVE

I have done ARt Journals for years... I guess my first one was when I was in collage... that was  few years ago...  my 50th high school reunion is this year!!! So go figure that one out... you might have to take off your shoes to count that high.. .LOL... a few years ago... but a lot of fun years too..

Okay... about 43 years ago we had a wedding... a daisy wedding... and since that time daisies have been a main focus in all that I create... so here is my diasy in 3 D...  Yes 3D... I used modeling paste on my stencils and then painted with my watercolors, twinkling H2's and a little Liquid Pearls for the finished look that you see here..
Of course the back ground... layer upon layer of color smeared on my craft work sheet, spritzed, colored, sprayed and then stenciled with four different stencils... can you pick them out???

I used this paper over and over and finally put the flowers on it... I love it... and decided to use it for the closing page on this journal...  so it is a place of honor...

Here you can see the depth of the modeling paste... love it... along with the liquid pearls..
Looking down at the page... the colors are wonderful... I love this final page... but the new journal is right here ... .ready to be started... so have no fear...

CREATE WITH LOVE ALWAYS
So one final word.. Always create with lots of love... in all ways..

Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and please take a look at all the other FANTASTIC items of WORK that have also been created for this challenge at Simon Says STamp and Show...

Hope to see you later with a few more  things that I have had fun creating... As always... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Backgrounds ...YIKES what FUN !

I had so very much fun with these pages... I hope that you enjoy them too...  I have taken pictures of the process... as the Challenge for Simon Says Stamp and Show is to do our own background...  YIKES... not a problem... get the old journal out... LOL... and start to work on another section...
I did one yesterday for Altered Alice too... take a look at it if you would like to...  I love making pages for my journal...  and there are certain things that will make it the place to work for the day..  This one was background... I love to do backgrounds of different kinds... and knew that today would be a fun one...  The pictures that follow are the process of many layers of stenciling, spritzing, using liquid pearls for accent... adding flowers I had drawn and cut out and then painted with perfect pearls... (love those misters of that stuff... )  and also just having FUN!!!  That is the biggest part of the process... making a mess and having fun.

First page is above... LOL...
The right side of the pages is blues and greens...   This is not a picture of the completed page... sorry I forgot to take it... but you can see the processes below... and put it together in your mind... LOL.. hopefully anyway..
Spraying and smearing of paper
When I start a page, I smear, spray, spritz, mist the paper with all kinds of colors until I have the desired color...
Then I start to add things...  like more layers of color...  Here you can see that I added the dragonfly... which is a stencil that I have used on blouses etc...  I love it... a very old and expensive stencil... but well worth the $
I hope you can see the white leaves...  in spring the leaves come to LIFE... and go from a ghostly stage to VIBRANT greens... which is on the other side of the pages.. .
Also the Hand is for PLANTING... which is something that we are doing every day now... today it is root day... which means everything that is a root plant... like a radish, turnip, sweet potato, daikons (chinese radish.. long white thing... delicious... good for cleaning out the liver... yummmmm )  Okay... back to the page...  I also used one of Dyan's Stencils... and create the elongated checkers... love it...  used my Distress ink pads with a blending tool and foam... love that the best.. I have full control over that kind of a thing... when I don't need control of the color... I SPRAY!!!!  And mist...  and let the colors rip!!!
Up in the upper left corner I had to put some 'paper' flowers... as Sunday Stamper challenge is to make paper flowers...  So Hels.. I used a baby wipe that i had sprayed with some new Dylusion spray... love the boldness of those colors .... especially for my journal... I am a vivid person in so many ways...
So this was a perfect color for these flowers for a couple of reasons... the violets are blooming all over our farm... and it is so very pretty... the pastures are loaded... and so is the back yard... so very pretty...   You can really see the white leaves in this picture... I love the depth that the different colors makes when you stencil... so very different than stamping... lovely.
The name of this section in my journal is the COLORS of SPRING... as every color is on here... even yellow.. in the center of the daisies I drew.. I also misted them with Perfect pearls... so very pretty...

Around the harlequin stencil I have used some of the newest colors... Avocado, and a pink??? don't know the name.. but so very pretty...  This area started out to be a tag, but I didn't like it... so it went into the bin of 'discards' to be used to try other things on... and it finally was used to try the harlequin stencil... and finally it made it to being used... I try and waste nothing in the studio... things are too expensive to toss out...   The letters are from K & Co... and what fun they are to get out of the box and use!!!  They are magnetic like... and cling to the plastic... but I love the look... so I will use them again..
I know this is going to be a long blog... but I have a lot to share... so if you don't want to read... just look... this is where the papers join... as you can see.. I also stamped some words... I love that kind of thing on a background... don't you???
Okay... now over to the right hand side of the pages... on this area, you can see the layers...
Smearing and spritzing first... then a dark navy used on a stencil... and then stamped with white dabber...then misted with perfect pearls... love it... yikes... what fun is this...
I had to add a charm... a little dragonfly backed in silver and tied up with a piece of seam binding... my hands are totally destroyed as of now... I don't think you can see any of the original color of my skin at all.. I am a massive MESS... and I love it... I think it is on my face too... dont' want to look right now...

Okay... my blog just decided that is was not going to let me go down next to this last picture...  so you will have to look down later..   I added another hand... the hand with the eye... (a stencil) and used my black distress ink pad... and the flower was done the same as the other one...

The leaves are VIBRANT for the spring GROWTH... and all the green GRASSes.. so very pretty...  Everything is ALIVE... I also put a little tiny bird nesting... as they are doing that all over the place... even in an old hat in my garage...  I think I had better shoo them out... an the netting is going up this week-end... so they will not be able to come and go as needed..

Well hope you enjoyed this...  I had a blast making it... and it will be in my journal for me to see all time...  Colors of Spring... it will be nice to visit this page in the middle of Winter...

Hope you have a nice day... thanks for stopping by for a visit... and see you later.. I have another page to share with you too..  the last page of this journal...  another one bites the dust...  such fun...

Alice in my Journal

This month on Altered Alice the challenge is to use YELLOW... buttery yellow...  Well I used a lot of yellow on these pages... more than I usually do, that is for sure...  My journal is a real love of my life right now... I really get a good feeling when I am working in it...  right now we are getting some really heavy storms... and my head is splitting... so just coloring in my book is soothing... YES... I love it...

Okay... so above is the spread... but here are the pages up a little bit closer...
On the far left is a page that I created using about 5- 6 steps... I start off with one technique and might not like the paper... so it goes into a pile... then I try another technique on it... and still dont' like it... or maybe it needs more... so it goes back into the same pile of paper... when it is ready to be used I use it... this piece had been sprayed, stenciled and stamped on many different layers... and was ready to be used... so I put that on the far left... Tweedle Dee and Dum seemed to like being put on top of JOY... so there they are...  The next section was a piece of water color paper that started off very softly and then I stenciled a few designs on it... and finally picked up a Liquid Pearl and drew on top of some of the leaves... what fun is that...
I also went around some of the diamonds with Peacock Liquid Pearl too... and a dot in the center... love it ... and the look is GREAT....

On the right had side of the book

the rabbit is checking his watch... and going to start to run... but prior to doing that... I added a few background papers...  the one in towards the center of the book was embossed... and then I used liquid pearls on that too...  but prior to the pearls... I used a lot of dyes, spritzers, and even splattered some  gold Twinkling H20's on it...  I love the softness of the background of this piece of paper...  why am I so in love with some of these papers...  ???? I just find so much happiness and pleasure from not only making them... but also looking at them...  I love them...
Okay... on the far right side of the page.... I have a very favorite background... many layers upon layers... using Tim's technique of spritzing inks onto the work sheet... then stenciling and then stamping... and then stamping some more...  with a few of the Impression Obsession 6x6 background stamps... LOVE those too...    Adding some Spellbinder panels of goodness and then making some cute little yellow flowers... for the CHALLENGE at Altered Alice...  Some Chit Chat words from Tim's new idea-ology section of fun toys... and a few more flowers on the border... DONE!!!!   I love it... I just might have to start an Alice Altered Journal... I think I will have too... but then this page will be over in another book...  yikes... what now???

Well I have really enjoyed making some of these pages.. and will share some more with you next week...  so check back...
Hope you are having a good week-end... and being creative at the same time... I have to spend some time in this studio this week... cleaning and getting rid of some things... I can't move!!!  I need to make room...

Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Little Ducky in the spring TIME

Dried Daffodils on the page

Hi … so sorry that I haven’t been around this week… I thought I would be able to post something… but it has been a very full schedule around here for over a week now.. and I think I am back… at least for a while… As you might know… we have an organic, BIODYNAMIC farm and we plant by a calendar… and when it tells us it is okay to plant… and things are looking good … WE PLANT!!!   This has been one of those weeks… where we have been planting like there is no tomorrow…

Today was a fruit day… so we planted tomatoes, okra, peppers, cantaloupe, watermelon, amaranth, all kinds of good things…  over 7000 seeds were planted just today and watered and good thoughts sent to each one of these little tiny seeds… hoping that they grow and become full sized plants and give us lots to eat
6x6 Impression Obsession stamp

Other than that, I have been very busy playing with new toys… experimenting with new inks and things from Ranger, Impression Obsession… and other great companies…  I love it all… and love all the new things…

Green paper has leaf stencil and butterfly stencil ... Ducks are IO

I also have been working very diligently on my Art Journal… and have found a renewed LOVE with it…  I have kept art journals for  over 50 years… but from time to time have not done them, lost them… put the aside… all kinds of reasons… but this one is going to be MINE to keep.. I love the growth I can see in it… and I love some of the techniques that I have done in here too…

The last post you saw the cover… and now here is one of the pages that I just did today…

A good friend, APRIL, sent me some Duckies from Impression Obsession… that I had asked for… Thanks again APRIL…  I love these little darlings… so cute…  Anyway.. April sent me 16 of them… so I thought I had better use a few… to get started on using them… LOL… I think that they are so cute…

So I colored them with my Tombow markers… and then cut them out… and then I started to have fun picking out papers that I have now a huge stash of…  they are papers that I have created using my 6x6 stamps from Impression
Stencils, Stamps, and daffodil

Obsession, stencils from all kinds of places…  stamps, embossing folders, glazes, embossing powders, misters with glimmers of all kinds.. and you name it… I have a huge pile of papers that I have created and had fun making… do you know what I mean???

So it also done a few 6x6 backgrounds… and wanted to really use those… and I had a pretty bouquet of daffodils that needed to be used or thrown away… and I couldn’t throw these pretties away.. so I used them…
Faerie dancing on this little duckies back
Here is where the FREEDOM comes into play... I have a faerie dancing on this ducks back... A friend sent me a card today and so I cut the faerie out and put it on the back... thanks Cheryl for being part of my ART JOURNAL.. . I love her.   I am free to do that... and to create as I want to...  so much fun...  As you can see the back grounds on these pages are pretty FREE too... lots of action, and different things going on here... I love it...
Embossing, collage and stenciling... love it all..

I added a flip panel to extend the little girls… or friends… as friends are so very important in our lives… but the main reason is that my theme for today in this art journal is FREEDOM…. Freedom to create as we need and want to… freedom to do as we want to as an artist… freedom to use everything and anything that we want to…  so that is why the little group girls ended up on this page…. FREEDOM to use what we want to… LOVE IT
Words are so very powerful and when spoken or written they really make a statement if we listen to them….  So FREEDOM has been my word today…

Hope that you have had a FREE day…  a day where you have been able to create and do as you wish… to create what you wanted to, how you wanted to, and of course where you do your art thing.

Thanks for taking some of that time to stop by for a visit… and say hello…  I have challenges starting on Sunday… but should be back with some more Art Journal pages too… hopefully the internet will allow me to upload some pictures…  we have been having some rain storms and I was unable to get these pictures up on Friday when I started to write this… but hopefully I can sneak them up now…   Have a great day…

Love, Light and Peace…Bonnie
