Enjoy Your Day....

Enjoy YOUR Day... it is a very appropriate saying...at least for me...

Today I had a few hours to play around... so I decided to do a few challenges... First off one of my favorite on Splitcoast Stampers... which is the Color Challenge... Betty always has such pretty colors.. and today it was hosted by Karen Barber... a fellow Paper Doll... so the colors were just as yummy as when Betty does the challenge...   I also decided to combine this with the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge... so here is the sketch for that challenge...
Of course this SHORT little project should normally take about an hour... but with the charm of dial up.. I have at this point put in 4 hours... but I think it will be worth it... jsut seeing all the cards of friends on SCS.. it was worth that... Sorry I can't leave comments as that would be the rest of the day... LOL...

I really had fun with this card...

I had just gotten a nice order of Just Rite Stamps.. and decided to put them to use... you will see some more later on... I have to revoer from all this uploading... LOL... I cut flowers out while I am waiting.. that is why my cards always have so many flowers that are Pretty by Bonnie digitals...

I had a lot of cut flowers today... as the up load was a long time... even played about 10 games of free cell too... it is so boring to take so long for uploading... but something we have to do...
Anyway.... here is a close-up of the card..

I have to tell you how I created the center medallion.

I used a piece of white paper... and a stamp from the collection of Just Rite's  Heart to Heart set which is oval... I embossed with clear embossing powerd and then used H20's to paint the light lavender...  I kept the oval shape and used a Spellbinder #10 label to cut and emboss the shape... then I used one of the new Spellbinder shapes, for the background...

Oh yes... I also used the Foliage shape for the leaves... also by Spellbinder... The pale blue filigree along the diagnol is also a new spellbinder... love them... so very delicate and pretty...

On the right hand side of the card... ( which I flipped the sketch)  I used a Martha punch for the pear color...  only in Bazzill it is called Hummingbird... I love these pretty green colors... have a ton of green markers too.. LOL.. I can never have enough greens of anything...

The flowers... of course they are Pretties by Bonnie...  and I put a huge lavender pearl in the center of each one... I used a cuttlebug embossing folder... called Cherry Blossom... from the Asian set... love this one..

I think I have mentioned everything... and now that it is 2:00 PM... I need to go have some lunch.. yikes... I am hungry...

Have a fun day... and please ENJOY YOUR DAY!!!  Thanks for stopping by for a visit... love your comments too..

Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

You really are an enabler you know. lol
Love this card and think that soon that Spellbinder #10 will have to make its way towards Canada, along with a couple other folders.
    This card is lovely.
