Twists and turns of life

Well this is the life... I have taken almost all day to create ONE tangle...  and I love it... love the space it gave me, love the theme I have chosen, and just plain love life...

This tangle is for the weekly challenge on I am the DIVA .... and this week it is the Diva's anniversary...  YEAH!!!

The meaning of this tangled piece is Twists and turns of life... and as you can see...  at the beginning of the creation there are bells... and they just so happen to be wedding bells... bells of wishing you many more years of happiness and love Laura, with B-rad... Love is a great feeling when you have it and when you don't it, is a very needed feeling that we all want.... and desire...  Happy Anniversary to the two of you....

And to chose Margaret's wonderful tangle today... well she is one person whose blog I have downloaded...  it is sheer bliss... I love her style, her freedom to express who and what she is in her art... and the ability to share as she does with all these wonderful new tangles.... which are so very much fun... I have used two in my tangled piece today...

Which I also drew it according to Margaret too... with two pencils and an eraser between them... and one elastic band holding them together... and then I drew this design... and started to play with it...  To me it reminds me of all the twists and turns we take in our lives... good, bad and indifferent ones... but all choices that we make and continue to take each and every day of our lives...  living with the oars that we have and making the best of it in all ways...  as there is no other way to be...  we all want a perfect life... and we are all working towards that... and need to find the inner peace within us to be ourselves.   Complete and 100% perfect in all ways...  right???

Okay... I am getting all emotional... but that is just because I am now waiting for my son and his wife to arrive for a week's stay here with us... we have not had the pleasure of seeing them since January... so this is a fun time...

Hope that you week is a good one... and that you love yourself for who you are in all ways...  Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and maybe I will see you again this week... my son is also an artist... and I might get them to tangle too... LOL.. it would be wondrous to do that...

Love, Light and Peace.....Bonnie

  8. That two-pencil string is fun isn't it?!? Lovely work, and the shading really makes the 'ribbon' lift up.
(btw, when I went to your 'about me' link it said the page didn't exist.) :(

  10. Love your tile, but love your words even more (I think).
Have a great time with your son and his wife, try to enjoy every second! We are expecting the son, wife and child of my husband. We live in Holland, they live in England, but in a few weeks they will move to USA, so we won't see them very often.
    Let's celebrate life!
