First Tag for the TWELVE Days of Christmas Challenge

I am giving myself a Happy Birthday gift, of taking time off from my Etsy store to play...  each and every day for 12 days... making tags for the up coming 12 Days of Christmas Tags for the Funkie Junkie... LOL.. what a fun gift for me...  I love to make tags, love all the pretties and love the way that this challenge is done... Linda has really out done herself with pretties... and I have enjoyed each and every one over the past weeks... saved them all.. and hoped that I would have the time to create all these tags... and YEAH ... I do...

Go to THE FUNKIE JUNKIE  and see the rules... and then join in...  it is a fun experience...  12 tags in no time at all... perfect for all your gift giving.. . oh and please stop by her BOUTIQUE and see all the goodies she has...  what fun...

One of the 'rules' is to tell what Linda created that inspired you to create your tag... so with each of these blogs... I have done the necessary set... but let me tell you.. sometimes is was hard... as there was so much inspiration that I had a hard time focusing on what I should do... LOL.. but always ... ALWAYS in ALL WAYS had so very much fun... hope you enjoy the ones I make...

Inspiration  was the stencil winter knit…. I love that one… and had to use it for a background….  So I did… but not until I got into the center of the card… LOL…  On the front I used a word embossing folder… and then used colors that I have never used for the Christmas season… but had to try it..  I used a golden color… actually inspired from your number six tag…. I had to see if I could make it look Christmassy enough for me…  and I did…  Anyway… I drew the candles and then decorated around them..  Adding a bow with a little bit darker color than the background…

Now when I got to the inside, I used a double row of the tree die cut from Tim's lovely selection of dies… and then added and added and added … having tons of fun…

I also used a pine branch stamp of Tim’s and love the little accents of it..  so very homey type of thing…

The Christmas ball is from a napkin… love it… so very soft and pretty… and can you see how I used the stencil… I used embossing pad and got it so very the way I wanted it…  not complete… off a little and then was able to add the word PEACE….I love the inside better than the outside.. but actually love them both…

Well… that is my #1 tag…  hope you find something that inspires you to create a tag for someone special in your life…  or maybe a card…  like I did…

I so very much hope that you get inspired to also create the 12 tags and join in on the fun here...
See you there...
Have a super wonderfully fun day... enjoying each and EVERY second of the day...

Please make sure you go to the FUNKIE JUNKIE and see all the wonderful work of all that are creating these 12 days of Christmas Tags, and also go and view the FUNKIE JUNKIE BOUTIQUE…. Lots of fun there too… wow… you name it…It is a wonderland all unto it’s self…

Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

  4. Welcome, Bonnie, to the 12 Tags of Christmas Funkie Junkie Style. I'm so delighted to have you joining in the fun with me this year. Your card is magnificent! The front is lovely - the colors are wonderful and I love the candles. Your inside is definitely amazing. I love that Tree Line die and have been meaning to get mine out and use it this season. Your greens are beautiful and I love the white stenciling. A really sensational first entry! Thanks again for jumping on board with the challenge. Can't wait to see the next one!

    Hugs
