Another day of playing and having fun...
Oh what fun too...
Love this kind of time...
A long time ago, a friend gave me a bumper sticker..
Thank goodness I never put it on the car...
as I still have it.. all in one piece and keep it in my studio...
What it says... is this...
" DON'T FOLLOW ME
I am FOLLOWING MY BLISS.... "
I am...
I am having one blissful time... and enjoying each and every day of it...
I am doing
the FUNKIE JUNKIE's
What fun...
Love it...
Following my inspiration on Tag #5...
I was very inspired by the 'mistyness' of the tag...
I loved the tag Linda, but really didnt' have anything that I could really do similar... so I took the theme and ran with ideas... and finally came up with the MISTY feeling...
Inspiration was the silvery look to this
wonderfully alive tag of Linda's …
but I wanted my view to be
the silvery look of the first view
in the morning after a newly fallen snow…
so I again stamped my favorite tree stamp…
love those tall pines…
as it reminds me of where I live…
there are huge pine plantations all over the place…
acre after acre of them…
so very nice smelling in the spring and fall…
after a rain..
and I wanted that look,
but with a wintery effect…
the look you see after a newly fallen snow…
oh so very pretty…

This tag is also entered into the ART WITH HEART for December challenge by Eileen Hull...
The TREE is a Sizzix die... and I happen to love it.. use it all year long... not just in December... and again the pine cone branch is also used... did I tell you I love that one... well... again used.
this is a really fun deer... by Inkadinkadoo... look deeply into the deer... all kinds of fun things on it...
When I take a picture of the tag standing up...
this is what you see...
I used some of my favorite bark... and then stamped behind it...
Adding a tree that has all kinds of misty looking things added to it...
My tall big pine was painted first with five different
greens…
and then a light coat of silvery paints….
It alone, didn’t look misty enough…
so I added some birch
bark…
and got the misty woodsy look I wanted…
I added some gauze and a little blue ribbon with some pine peeking out…
and called it done…
I love it…
my
favorite so far…
but I think we have a few more to do....
wow..
Hope I get these all done...
Each view has it's own uniqueness to it... they all look a little different, and yet are all the same tag... honest...
Just the top of the tag... really a pretty tag.. love the look I got with it.... okay...
On to the next one...
Thank You so very much stopping by for a visit... and I will be back later... with one at least... maybe two... so check it out...
Have another one started... but going to bed... it is 12:45AM middle of the night anyway...
See you later... tomorrow that is... well later...
LOL... too tired..
Please make sure you
go to the FUNKIE JUNKIE
and see all the
wonderful work of all that are creating these
12 days of Christmas
Tags,
and also go and view
the
Lots of fun there too…
wow…
you name it…
It is a wonderland all
unto it’s self…

Wonderful! You have totally recreated the feel of the misty woods in the early morning. I love all the wood textures you have included and the way you stamped the trees in blue in the background - terrific touch. Your deer is lovely and all the fibers are the perfect finishing touch!

Another real beauty, absolutely love the 3 D effect you have managed to create, that deer between the snowy trees looks so happy, really beautifully put together!
ReplyDeletewow, I really like this one! Thanks for sharing more of your art with us at the Art with Heart challenge. =)
