CHAPTER 25: Mad as a March Hare
Post text - pop a picture of your project at the top if you want, always
better to start with a picture!:
The Hatter was the first to break the silence. `What day of the month is it?' he said, turning to Alice: he had taken his watch out of his pocket, and was looking at it uneasily, shaking it every now and then, and holding it to his ear. Alice considered a little, and then said `The fourth.' `Two days wrong!' sighed the Hatter. `I told you butter wouldn't suit the works!' he added looking angrily at the March Hare. `It was the BEST butter,' the March Hare meekly replied. `Yes, but some crumbs must have got in as well,' the Hatter grumbled: `you shouldn't have put it in with the bread-knife.' The March Hare took the watch and looked at it gloomily: then he dipped it into his cup of tea, and looked at it again: but he could think of nothing better to say than his first remark, `It was the BEST butter, you know.' -- Chapter 7, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
The term "Mad as a
hare’ which was common during Carroll's time, alludes to the crazy capers of the
male hare during March, its rutting season, and the straw on his head in the
original Tenniel illustrations was also a symbol of madness. (from Lenny's Alice in
Wonderland site) As March is the month we celebrate the mad March
Hare, ANYTHING GOES is our challenge.
You have until
Friday, March 29 to enter your creations. As always, multiple entries are

So... this month it is all about Anything GOES... so I made this project... not really sure what to call it yet... but I did have fun making it... and each digital has it's own little section... to be themselves in...
Here it is...
Oh My Goodness... what a funny looking little critter... with green and turquoise bumps all over him... one for each year of knowledge in Wonderland...
And he pops out at you... but he has lots of pens for writing... if he knows how to write...??? ? and has secret doors for special friends... like the dragonfly...
And another secret door for another friend... the BEE...
Of course he has plenty of tea pots and cups and saucers... it is the Mad Hatters Tea Party...
As you can see he keeps his tea pots and cups always handy...
And the butter knives are also on his wall... LOL.. BUT they are hiding.... so you really can't see them... don't forget this is WONDERLAND... and the Tea Party is on going.... I think all the time... TIME??? What is that...
More tea pot and cup action going on... the clock is an ALICE clock... only a few hours no it though... ??? Is that a problem in WONDERLAND???
I don't think it is at all...
Now the March Hare is really off his rocker most of the time... as we all know...
So it is nothing unusual to find him with a tea cup... looking half looped...
butterflies, dragonflies and keys all floating around him... nothing unusual about that at all... is there???
The clock is jooming out... to alarm him to go to the tea party... isn't he already there??? isn't that where he lives????
He is so funny...
A close up of the clock and keys...
The Royal ONE... the Red Queen of Hearts.... or HeARTS.... in this case she is wild and who knows what she is up too... but she has a lot of fun creating all kinds of things to happen in Wonderland...
At the very top... there is a glittery butterfly that is 3 D as you can see... and you can also see the top of the sections... and how they are put together...
Another View...
Hope that you have enjoyed this little journey into the inner depths of the Tea Party and then wonders in WONDERLAND....
See you next month with more WONDERLAND wonders...
Thanks for stopping by... and thanks even more for leaving a comment... I cherish each and every one that I get from you... thanks from the bottom of my heart... Have a super wonderful time in your own WONDERLAND... I do...
Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie
