In THAT direction,' the Cat said, waving its right paw round, `lives a Hatter: and in THAT direction,' waving the other paw, `lives a March Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad.'
`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
-- Chapter 6, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll

those featuring Wonderland will have two chances at the prize instead of one.

JANUARY
This little Alice and the Cheshire Cat are so very pretty... I love it... I had to use this one first... so January she became... This is the whole page... and I love the way it looks in real life.. the colors are slightly different... the purples are matching more... LOL... a camera really doesn't have the real look of life totally .... nothing like the REAL THING!!!!
Anyway... all the snowflakes have Designer Stickels on them... and they are so very softly glimmering... not a harsh glitter... soft like the first snow fall. Of course Alice is not dressed for snow... but hey ... she is in Wonderland... and in Wonderland... anything goes.
A little bit closer to see the detail in Alice... she has a little butterfly on her finger...
Don't forget ... a snowflake is winters butterfly... so this goes... right???
And all around the January is eyelet lace that I have drawn.
I love drawing eyelet laces... so very pretty on a little ones dress too...
Snow is a January thing... if we are going to get it... we will get it then... most likely... so I had to make this a snow month... Snow flakes with glitter and all...
All snowflakes are different... so they are in Wonderland too...
But they all have a slight blue tint to them... I used an alcohol pen that I made the color up myself..... Love the Ranger refillable pens for this reason...
FEBRUARY
Ahhhhhh....
The QUEEN OF HEARTS....
What else would I put for February...???? It has to be the QUEEN.... the RED queen of course...
I love this digi of her too...
Look at the expression on her face!!! WOW... so Red Queen like...
I tangled all the hearts and the February area... she deserves a royal area for sure.
MARCH
MARCH
The March Hare!!!!
Oh he is so very precious... I love him too... actually I LOVE all these GREAT characters that the Famous Rick St Dennis has drawn here... and he is so very generous to give us so very many wonderful Digital images to play with... I do hope that you will take the time and go to his site and buy some of these great images... a very must for any ALICE fan... the details and love is used with each and every one...
As you can see... I wanted this Funny March Hare to be jumping up and down and ready for MARCH... A time when we start to see violets in the grasses... and little flowers start to bloom...
Is he not something else... I love him...
Some Zen Tangling and a banner was created... of course I had to color it too... I love doing that now... but I also love the look of a true black and white tangle too... oh well.. decisions .... decisions...
I just had to share another picture of him... he is so wild and fun... Love this one... but then again... there is not one of these that I don't just LOVE...
Rick St. Dennis, your love for Alice is shown in true spirit.... love these all... and thanks again for giving us so very many to play with... My calendar will be an item for me to cherish for many years to come...
APRIL
Okay... now the Mad Hatter... he is just as wonderful as the others... WILD and wooly to say the least...
His feet are so uniquely HIM...
I Zen tangled a border with tea cups and pot... and then had some larger ones for the border added...
WILD and Crazy...
We are all MAD here!!! And he fits right in...
Well that is the first four months... now you will have to come back next Sunday and see the next four months... I love each and every one of these pages so very much... a very happy calendar for me to do... I have totally enjoyed using these digital images that Rick so very generously gave to us to use... so PLEASE go to his site and check out all the image that he creates... they are wonderful...
Have a happy day in Wonderland today.. Everyone is mad there today... wild and crazy too.. .
