A Turquoise Day

When I was making flowers I wanted to paint with this really yummy Turquoise H20 so that is what color these flowers came out... LOL.. love them... they are sort of like a Peony, but are Turquoise...

I had a lot of fun with these flowers.. .and with making these cards...  Bows, medallions using Just Rite Stamps...  Spellbinders galore...
Of course all the flowers are also made by using Spellbinders flowers too...

The leaves on this card are also Spellbinders...

I ruffled the edges up a little bit, as this K and Company paper was so formal... and I wanted a more casual look...

Love well, Laugh often, Love MUCH.... how perfect a saying is that!!!!

So I have to use this GREAT Martha Stewart around the card punch to create this lace... and then added a medallion.. (as explained in a couple of posts ago..)

Then added my flowers... the white ones were also made using off white paper and just a little more closed up... the leaves are Pretties by Bonnie ...had to sneak in a few of my own digitals on some of these cards...

A closeup of the flowers... I used a pearl in the center and allowed the petals to flow easily from it...  the flowers are really stiff enough to ship in an envelope using a blister package front... (saved from my pop tape... I try and let nothing go unused at least one more time... hopefully who ever gets the card will also use it on one of her cards and re use it again...

Helps with the environment a little bit... and every little bit helps us all...

Another card with some pretty TURQUOISE flowers... love to make these pretties... and I used a Spellbinder die!!!!  So easy and fun.. I did paint each layer and it made them stiff... and also hold their shape better...

I wanted the white background on this card to make the flowers make a real statement... which I think it did...

Hope you have a wonderful day... thanks for stopping by for a visit... and please come on back again for some more cards... I am really on a flower kick...  Love making these flowers...

Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

  1. As you know I have just gotten back from my trip and I have enjoyed looking at your recent cards. So beautiful as always! I love the pictures of Sandy and Marie! They are really into making the flowers. Will have to have Marie teach me or you can when I see you on the 13th! Lovely!!!
