Today is our daughters birthday... and I can still remember the day she was born... wow... a beautiful happening in our lives... a 9lb 9ounce beautiful girl... bright pink and so very perfect in all ways...
So Happy Birthday to our sweet, wonderful talented and loving daughter...
This is for you Heather Amy!!!
Happy Happy Birthday...
Heather Amy is also a tangler... and so is her beautiful son... and he is only 8 and starting to create his own tangles...
I love the flowing of this tangle and hope that she does too...
Have a Happy Birthday and Many Many many more....
Soooooooo this week with the Diva's challenge, Laura has given us the challenge of doing a piece with using only two tangles... Auroknot and Bunzo... I love doing the Auroknot... but bunzo is not a favorite yet... I keep on trying it... but just doesn't flow for me at all... ????
I had to control myself.. as the lower auroknot I started to let the lines flow... and then remembered that I could only do Auroknot and Bunzo.... oh boy... what a bummer that was... oh well... I will create a few others... so not to worry... LOL...
I wanted a free auroknot .... and also some that were a little more controlled... also some with 5 points... and some with 6... the flower of LIFE... I really did enjoy the time doing this TIA... and thanks again Laura for the challenge... as it was a challenge using the bunzo!!!!!
Hope that you all have a wonderful day... and enjoy what ever you do.... Thanks for stopping by and also for all the lovely comments you all leave... .
Happy Birthday sweetie... and enjoy this one...

More PHICOPS!!!!
Okay... I personally feel that the only way to learn something really so that it is part of your palette or thinking... is to do it over and over... so I have done a few more phicops....
So I did this one... with a piece of ribbon running thru the center...
and a piece of horse tail at the top...
I was going to add more.. but fell asleep at the table... and never went back to finish it...
So it is really not finished at all...
but here it is... LOL
This is a new Tangle done by B-rad the hubby of Laura at I am the Diva... and it is really quite interesting to do... each one takes on a personality of its own...
And so when I got home on Saturday.. after a FUN FILLED day at the Farmers Market...which was a great day!!!! WE met tons of new people... and I think I have quite a few new gals all excited about making Never Ending cards, Boxes with flowers... and all kinds of things... so it was a lot of fun... we also sold Sweet Potatoes and Garlic... so it was a great day...
But then last night I started to do this new Zendala that Erin of The Bright Owl gave us to play with... I really didn't have too much left to really create to my fullest... but did play for a while...
All in all this week was fun filled week... a blur in many ways... but fun. And now we start a new week... with a lot of fun things happening... If you haven't taken a look at my full blog.. I hope you will take a look and see my Alice in Wonderland calendar... I really had a lot of fun creating the different months.. and added a lot of tangling to some of the months...
Have a great week... and see you tomorrow with some more fun tangling pages... thanks for stopping by for a visit... and again many thanks for all the lovely comments that you all leave for me... I totally love them... and appreciate it greatly...

2013 Calendar with Rick St. Dennis
MAY
This little rollie pollie Queen is just as cute as they come... I had to have her standing on a heart... she just wanted too...

Mother's Day is in May... and she just looked like a motherly type...
this is the whole page...
I wanted to use this pretty vellum that I have had for years... I love it... and so I used half of it on this page...
All my pages by the way are 12 x 12... did I mention that last week???? So there is a lot of nice space to use...
I also wanted to use this die from Provo on this page... as it is regal as she is here...
I didn't want to color her a whole lot... as I wanted to see all the details in her dress.. and cute pantaloons...
I used a punch to create the ball of hearts... rows and rows of punching actually to create it...
The other shapes are Spellbinders..

The flowers are made from paper die flowers and I used four on each flower...
The large layered heart I used Spellbinders... and then the dotted swiss embossing folder...
The heart frame is from Estacy I think... I always forget that one... ??? They are so very difficult to use... but so very pretty...
JUNE
What a fun month this was... these PEOPLE FLOWERS are so very cute... I love each and every one of the them...
I had to add one of my own flowers along with a little bit of Tangling too... LOL...
I happen to love to tangle... so that is what got me really wound up about these digitals... the design is so very compatible with anything... and it went lovely with my tangling too...
Here is what the whole page looks like... I have a double decker golden dragonfly in the middle... which when photographed went a little wild in its own way... hopefully you will get the whole idea of this fun page as I show it to you in pieces...
This sunflower is just dancing across the top and bottom of this page... I love these happy faces on them too...
Wild isn't it...????
This one of course I drew... and I love the Perfect Pearls in the center of the flower... I used a lot in the centers of all the flowers... you just have to look closely...
I love the Zingers too... a tangle word for the pod like things... are they fun...
The Tangle that I Love... called Mi2... (me too.) and you can do so very much with this one... a wonderful background for this month of flowers and fun...
Although it doesn't allow the dragonfly to be photographed too well.. .but hey... again in real life... looks really good... sorry you can't see it in real life... of course I could hold a TEA PARTY... and you could all come...
Another picture of the happy faced sunflower and the dragonfly...
I guess you have seen enough of this dragonfly... but I love dragonflies... so I took another picture.. .
Now what Wonderland calendar would be complete with out the BOYS... you know who I mean... the Tweedles...
Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.... are these not the cutest ones you have ever seen!!!!
I love them...
Truly so funny and just having a ball in their own way...
I wove the papers behind them... and of course had to tangle the letters of the month...
The star is also a tangle... and then I cut it out... it is all layered....
They are just dancing and carrying on all over the place.. I think when I go to sleep at night that all these characters come alive and have a lot of fun playing in the box that these pages are in.. . LOL... and that these boys never quite get back to where I have put them... but they are fun...
I used some Perfect Pearls on the tangled star too... I really love the way that this page came out... it was really fun to create...
AUGUST
When I saw these faces in these happy flowers... I knew exactly what I was going to do...
A Summer garden for Wonderland was an absolute necessity for this page... the trellis and all...
The faces are all so cute on these flowers... one of the nicest things with digitals is that you can make them any size your heart desires... so I made these to fit into my scheme of things for this page...
I also used some flowers... made from Baby wipes... and the background paper is also made with a lot of fun too... smearing inks and getting all messy is an all time favorite... so wow... what a fun page this is...
LOOK AT THESE CUTE FACES.....
Pink Hydrangeas are very rare... so I had to make this even more unique... and then the purple iris... how special is this...
Well... you will have to come back next week again to see the rest of this fun calendar...
I love these so very much... that I want you to see these up a little bit closer... Don't forget I am on dial up... so this is truly an act of love for Alice and all these fun digitals... so please take a look at Rick St. Dennis collection of digitals... thanks...
Thanks so very much for stopping by today for a visit... and hope to see you for the last four months... Have you stopped over at Rick's site to see all the GREAT Digis he has created???? Hope you will... there are some really great ones there...
See you next week... with the rest of the calendar...

| SEA SCAPE A FLOAT |
So last night that was the way... I did a couple of large pieces... this one is 8.5 x 11... and it just about fills the paper... of course I used the newest Tangle created by the Diva's other half... B-rad... Love it... still have to practice though.. .
I loved using the tangle girlande... I just love doing that tangle...??? reminds me of a very favorite bracelet that I once had...
Well... we are going to the county Farmers Market today... going to sell all kinds of things.. you can bring anything that you grow or make in the county... so we are taking some Sweet Potatoes... and of course some garlic... and then I happened to put a few things aside to take too... like some silver wrapped jewelry, cards... not that many... only about a hundred... and some Never Ending cards... and then some framed tangles... and a few boxes... so that will be fun... I do hope that we have a nice day... suppose to be dreary in the AM... but the market is from 9-2... so we are wondering if we should take an outside spot.???
Well tomorrow will tell... I had better get to bed... we have to get up at 4... and it is now 11:30.... oh dear me... a long day!!!! LOL..
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope that you have a GREAT week-end... and if you are in the area... do stop in at the Polk County Farmers Market!!! See you there...

Down by the ocean
I guess my feelings are down at the ocean this week... LOL... actually Sande and I had fun on Monday creating different DOT art that was to resemble Australian Dot Art!!! We had fun and I love the way that these came out... I am going to share one with you today and one tomorrow...
I did a turtle that I love...
When they create all these dots, they use a stick... so I used a stick too... so very much fun... a little scary at times, as I don't have as much control over the size of the dot... but hey... I had fun... my main goal in life...
I love all the bright colors that they use too... and they are enhanced with all the different designs...
Hope that you enjoy this... I really had fun creating it... but wait until tomorrow... !!!!
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and also all the great comments that ya'll leave...

I am calling this
Down by the Sea... and I have to say that I love the way it turned out... AND I really had a lot of fun doing it...
I think I will print one or two, and fool around with some color on them...I love the way it came out...
I tried to make each one a little bit different... and have fun with each one...
Well... I do hope that you have a wonderful day... and that you enjoy your time in all ways...I have another full day of things that will be fun too... and maybe I will even had time at the end of the day to tangle a little more... but I have to tell you that I am going to a Fiber Meeting tonight... a group of ladies that love to do wild things with fibers... of all kinds... so maybe I will be all 'tied' up with my fibers too... LOL...
Have fun no matter what you do... see you tomorrow... I have some fun things to share with you...

Tanglefly
I can not believe it is January 7th ALREADY!!!!! WOW... where has a week gone already in 2013!!!! And now the DIVA is back with more tangles... and this one her hubby did... B-rad ...
All I could see was a tangle fly... so I drew one... and today is a very busy day... so I didn't really have a lot of time to play with it... but this is a beginning for me... I love to do more than a couple each week anyway... I guess I am just prolific with so many things... my house looks it at times....
So.... here it is...
A snowflake is winters butterfly... so this is a winter tangle fly!!!
My friend Sande is coming over and we are going to be doing some Australian DOT doodling... and so I had to add some dots to this tangle flies body!!!
She is pretty and will fly ever so long...
And here it is colored...
I had to do it... I love this tangle fly...
Hope that you have a wonderful tangling day... and enjoy it all...
Thanks for all the lovely comments ya'll leave me... I LOVE them all... thanks. . and also for just stopping by for a visit...

2013 Calendar with Rick St. Dennis
In THAT direction,' the Cat said, waving its right paw round, `lives a Hatter: and in THAT direction,' waving the other paw, `lives a March Hare. Visit either you like: they're both mad.'
`But I don't want to go among mad people,' Alice remarked.
`Oh, you can't help that,' said the Cat: `we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.'
`How do you know I'm mad?' said Alice.
`You must be,' said the Cat, `or you wouldn't have come here.'
-- Chapter 6, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
"We're
all mad here" is the favorite Alice quote of artist Rick St. Dennis, so in
January, anything goes! Be mad! Get cute, get creepy, get crazy, because
Rick St. Dennis has amazing digi stamps in all those styles, including many
wonderful AIW
images! Submit your creations by Friday, January 25th for a chance to win
three digital stamps from Rick St. Dennis. All projects are welcome, but
those featuring Wonderland will have two chances at the prize instead of one.
Multiple entries are welcome, but to be counted as separate entries they must be
on separate posts.
Designer
of over 100 theatrical productions, Rick St Dennis (Donald McAfee) is also the
author of 4 books on decorative painting and contributor to at least a dozen
national magazines on crafts and art. St. Dennis has appeared on such TV shows
as Home Matters with Susan Powell, Aileen's Crafts and others. He was Crafts
editor for Country Folk Art Magazine and sold his artwork nationally through
galleries and shows. For a complete bio of his amazing career, see Rick's blog!
JANUARY
This little Alice and the Cheshire Cat are so very pretty... I love it... I had to use this one first... so January she became... This is the whole page... and I love the way it looks in real life.. the colors are slightly different... the purples are matching more... LOL... a camera really doesn't have the real look of life totally .... nothing like the REAL THING!!!!
Anyway... all the snowflakes have Designer Stickels on them... and they are so very softly glimmering... not a harsh glitter... soft like the first snow fall. Of course Alice is not dressed for snow... but hey ... she is in Wonderland... and in Wonderland... anything goes.
A little bit closer to see the detail in Alice... she has a little butterfly on her finger...
Don't forget ... a snowflake is winters butterfly... so this goes... right???
And all around the January is eyelet lace that I have drawn.
I love drawing eyelet laces... so very pretty on a little ones dress too...
Snow is a January thing... if we are going to get it... we will get it then... most likely... so I had to make this a snow month... Snow flakes with glitter and all...
All snowflakes are different... so they are in Wonderland too...
But they all have a slight blue tint to them... I used an alcohol pen that I made the color up myself..... Love the Ranger refillable pens for this reason...
FEBRUARY
Ahhhhhh....
The QUEEN OF HEARTS....
What else would I put for February...???? It has to be the QUEEN.... the RED queen of course...
I love this digi of her too...
Look at the expression on her face!!! WOW... so Red Queen like...
I tangled all the hearts and the February area... she deserves a royal area for sure.
MARCH
MARCH
The March Hare!!!!
Oh he is so very precious... I love him too... actually I LOVE all these GREAT characters that the Famous Rick St Dennis has drawn here... and he is so very generous to give us so very many wonderful Digital images to play with... I do hope that you will take the time and go to his site and buy some of these great images... a very must for any ALICE fan... the details and love is used with each and every one...
As you can see... I wanted this Funny March Hare to be jumping up and down and ready for MARCH... A time when we start to see violets in the grasses... and little flowers start to bloom...
Is he not something else... I love him...
Some Zen Tangling and a banner was created... of course I had to color it too... I love doing that now... but I also love the look of a true black and white tangle too... oh well.. decisions .... decisions...
I just had to share another picture of him... he is so wild and fun... Love this one... but then again... there is not one of these that I don't just LOVE...
Rick St. Dennis, your love for Alice is shown in true spirit.... love these all... and thanks again for giving us so very many to play with... My calendar will be an item for me to cherish for many years to come...
APRIL

Okay... now the Mad Hatter... he is just as wonderful as the others... WILD and wooly to say the least...
His feet are so uniquely HIM...

I Zen tangled a border with tea cups and pot... and then had some larger ones for the border added...
WILD and Crazy...
We are all MAD here!!! And he fits right in...
Well that is the first four months... now you will have to come back next Sunday and see the next four months... I love each and every one of these pages so very much... a very happy calendar for me to do... I have totally enjoyed using these digital images that Rick so very generously gave to us to use... so PLEASE go to his site and check out all the image that he creates... they are wonderful...
Have a happy day in Wonderland today.. Everyone is mad there today... wild and crazy too.. .
Thanks for stopping in for a visit... and see you next week with more of this calendar...

Lines a la 2013
Oh ERIN!!!
What a challenge...
I love flowing lines, flowers, circles and nothing too graphic... so I had to do something that was very graphic... this is about as graphic as I can do... other wise I would start to pull my hair out... and I do I had dear friend stop over for a visit and since I haven't seen her for over 4 months... I wanted to visit and spend some time with her... so we had a wonderful visit... and so I didn't get to do the challenge as quickly as I normally do... so that was also a change... for me at least...
The other change is that I never tell you what tangles I use... so on this one I have used the following ones.. Chard, Yabbut, Tuftid, Sparkle... and I used a copic multi liner in sepia and also a pigma micron.05 in brown/sepia.... I generally always use black... and always love to shade!!! But no shading on this one at all.. boo hoo... my favorite part of tangling...
But Change is GREAT... and I am not saying that this will be a normal for me at all.. I missed doing my flowers and leaves... missed doing my circles and all the little ones in and around leaves... but that is okay for this one time ERIN!!!! Back to my fav's and all the new ones I love to try that flow with the ebb and flow of life... LOL>..
So here is my Zendala for this week..
I also love to use bright colors... but used a monotone color scheme... and then at the last minute I had to add the orange.... so I had to have those delicate little squares pop... I used some color pencils around the edges... and then also to fill in a sections of Yabbut...
So what do you think??? Is it different enough??? I think it is... and even though it is I still like it... and I also had fun doing it... not as much as I normally do... but hey... without flowers life is jsut a line!!!!
Well take a second look and I have a huge sunflower in the center!!!! Yeah... and I didn't even try!!! Oh well... flowers are ME...
Hope that this meets the challenge qualifications... yikes...
Thanks Erin for all the love that you put into each challenge... and I am looking forward to another fun year of doing as many as I can... Glenn and I have also decided that we are going to be doing the Farmers Market this year.. so our Saturdays are going to be rather busy... so I will not be one of the first ones to finish this year... unless things change again!!!! It will be a fun experience for us... and I am also going to teach there ... Boxes and Flowers are in the first classes in February... the 21st and 23 of the month... from 1-5.... fun, fun, fun.... love it all..
Thanks for stopping by for a visit and also for all the lovely comments that you all leave for me... I would really love to have dsl or anything a little faster than dial up... but I think we are stuck with this slow method of being on line for the duration of time here... not a fun thing... just reality!!!
Happy New Year to all of you... and may it be the happiest ever... with good health and lots of love all around you always...

Frogs
My neighbor and good friend Sande just came home from Australia... she had to work there for a while.. what a shame... huh??? But she did have fun... and enjoyed it greatly...
She brought me back a BOOMERANG... and it is wonderful... it has all these tangles all over it.. that is why she bought it for me...
Also she had a few books on the typical Australian aboriginal art ... with all the multi layered dots... and she loaned one to me until we play next week... so you know that I had to start to find paper and pen and create a few of my own...
So this cute little frog was formed... I love him... or her... not really sure which it is... just a cute frog... Hope that you enjoy it...
I am still doing all kinds of things here... and having a blast... just set up to teach a few classes here at the local Agricultural center... and I am excited about that...
you can check it out here... if you are interested... would love to have you come and take a class... the class room is GREAT... enough room for 40 gals to sit and play... so very much fun... love it...
Well... thanks for stopping by... and see you soon..

Me TOOOoooo
Happy New Year to one and All... sorry I have been a little lax on getting things posted... I just was chilling... as the kids say... I needed a break for daily routines... and had been really pushing on getting things done prior to our daughter and her family arriving last week... we totally enjoyed their visit and loved every minute of it... sorry to see them all go back home... but they certainly did brighten our lives up while they were here...
So I had to show my love of the time we spent with them all...
So with pen in hand... I did a Mi2 which I love to do anyway...
I put flowers all over it... as our daughter made me a burlap wreath with hand made felt flowers... and an owl... made from pinecones, twigs, all kinds of natural flora all over it... On I do love it...
This is not a great picture...but I think you can get an idea ... it is really so lovely... I have it hanging now in the window of my office.. but think I will move it!!! Just trying to figure out where it is the prettiest... I so love it... the flowers are magnificent... and you know how I love flowers.. .
I will try and take a better picture of this and share later with you all..
Well... a little of this and a little of that is what today is all about ... have a great day and enjoy yourself no matter what you do..
Thanks for stopping in for a visit... and see you soon...
