A touch of BROWN

 Today is a beautiful sunny day here in North Carolina... and I want to make the most of the day... so hopefully I will be able too...  I started off today with a challenge on Simon Says Stamp and Show
and the challenge is really right up my alley... a TOUCH OF BROWN.... wow how great is that...  I love to add brown to things... so rich...  

So I had just printed a few new digital images that I had drawn from Pretties by Bonnie  and I wanted to  color them in and see what

 looked like colored... so I started off with that... and then a finished the edges off with a TOUCH OF BROWN... love it... and then went onto make by tag...  I gathered up some misc paper that I had cleaned up my worksheet with... LOL... best way to clean up your worksheet...(spray some water on it... and then 'mop' it up with a piece of cardstock!!!!  )  Best of everything.... so I added some Distress stains, and then a few stampings of a Tim collection that I love... the words are the perfect size for me... not big... not large... just right... and then I wanted some texture.. so I cut some tissue paper butterflies and glued them onto the tag...  they gave me just the right look I wanted...  I added some more brown stains to my paper and then cut my tag out ... and put my new digital image onto the tag...  I love the look I got... 

A touch of Brown at times is all that it needs to give that really rich Vintage feeling... even if you have bright colors.. it will still antique it...  

The Chinese character in the upper corner is for SPIRIT!!!  I love practicing my Chinese characters... and don't use them as often as I should...  I needed some SPIRIT to move me onward with this... so thus the work SPIRIT!!!
