Another box... just had to share it with you...
Not much to say... just love sharing these with you...
I made this one for my Mom so she could see the flowers... she would love to make these as well...
I used a piece of K and Company paper on this Bazzill box... nothing more or less...
Here are a few more views of this box...
I finally got some stamen... that I like... so many are not the kind that I like.. yes I am picky... I want things to be a certain way... and here they are... in all their glory...
Side panels of the glittery paper...
A top view of the box and flower.... love it...
Hope you have a fun PINK day... enjoy creating and giving love to others...
Hope to see you back soon.. thanks for taking the time to stop by... love it when you do... I love sharing with you...

Hexagon box
Okay... so I had to make another box... this time it has 6 sides... and yes it is also an explosion box...
I used some pretty vintage paper for the box... and this little bird and flowers jsut fit perfectly on the top... and there was still room for a surprise...
So I added the surprise... another large flower... do you think I am addicted to making these flowers... ??? You are so very right... I love making them... each one is so different and so very unique... I love making them... and even more I love making projects to put them on... the best ever...
This is what the sides look like... I used Tissue Tape by Tim Holtz... on all the edges... it finishes everything off so very nicely...
Again I used some vintage papers on this box... and still wanted to add a little more jazz to it all... so I stamped in different places also... and then added a layer of paper lace using a Spellbinder die cut .... love the look of this...
So you take the lid off... and WOW.... Now you see the explosion of the layers in front of you... so many places to put all kinds of things... I am going to use this box as a Photo/scrapbook... I jsut received a box of over 80 pictures of my mom as she was growing up... so guess what... I think some of these pictures will end up here... these pictures are over 85 years old... at least most of them are... my Mom is 92... so take it from there... I have a picture of her on her first birthday!!!! How special is that... Anyway... I have scanned all the pictures into the computer... so that I can print out what ever size I need... besides these are the pictures with the white frame around them... some even have a special vintage design around them... LOL.. how very special...
Each layer has 6 pieces and they are not even... so there are 18 spaces for pictures...
I just stuck the orange flower there... I love these flowers...
Can you tell I love these flowers... ???? LOL...
So there you have it.. another box... another day...
I am working on a wedding album for my Mom too.. she finally got hold of a picture of her on her wedding day... my parents were married during WW2.... and the money wasn't as freely flowing back then for pictures etc... so this one is very special... you can't see their faces very good... as they were in a shadow.. but it will do... it is them... and they had a nice long life together... over 59 years... that is a long time...
Well check back in... I might have a few pages done... I also have another box to share with you... and yes it also has flowers on it... what else...
Hope you have a creative day... make something special for someone in you life... and enjoy making it...

Resist on a coaster????
Oh what fun I have had... My good friend and neighbor Sande always gets me into trouble... she gave me a couple of things that she found on line... and then says we should make them... well I find them like a challenge in so many ways... so here is one that I fell in love with... I did change things around a little bit... but what fun they are...
They are easy to make and you can create anything on them that your heart desires... like this one... I combined a challenge with this one... The Tim Holtz Challenge which you can find on this blog... Called Studio L3 ... I love creating some of the challenges... even though I have done them before... it is always FUN to create them again and again...
And RESIST... my all time favorite...
I made the cover of this a little bit on the simple side... the simple resist side... LOL.. I used one stamp and about 5-6 distressing inks... when I use my Distressing inks I can't really remember what I use... I just use... I distressed the esges... and then added all the goodies... which I will talk about as I go along here...
This is what the book looks like when it is open... so you can see a few of the colors I used... pinks, yellow, orange and browns... even a little antique Linen.. as that is an all time favorite... that is for sure..
On the front cover I added a glass slide... which is really a faux slide...
I used a cute little picture... and GLUED it onto a sheet of plastic from the GARBAGE.... you know the kind of plastic... from a die cut, or a punch, or anything that we buy... well I can't throw it away... I cut off the funny edges and save for a use... this is one of those uses... I put copper tape around the edges.. .and have a very nice slide...
I did the same with the heart... but no foil..
Here's the heart up close... love it...
So cute and sassy...
Okay.... then of course I had to add a flower... I am really into making these great fun flowers... they are so much fun... I used the Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die cut... so many great and fun things to use the line for...
check out Tim's Blog... you will find tons of fun things to create and amuse your muse...
I also made the face that is hiding behind the flower... air dry clay and voila... a fun blue face...
I have to go back to the front again... as I forgot to tell you about making the big beads... on the ends of the ribbon... they are made from paper... yes paper...
I love making them... and I have jars of them ready to go... onto anything that needs them...
The inside of this book... is really quite unique... it has two panels to decorate with pictures... the whole book is only about 5X4... and the panels open to be about 3.5 X10... so there are 4 sections... on each side... and that is enough to create a nice little book... with a fun theme...
I used Tim's Birds for this one... and clear embossing powder for the images...
The 'corking' areas are coasters... yes coasters turned up side down... and makes for a nice sturdy cover... and little book... a little ribbon and you are done...
Here is the inside of one of the sections... I used the same bird set to stamp all the images on the inside...
Again using Distress INks for the colors...
Here is another one that I also created...
A little bit different... but still so much fun...
I love these huge flowers...
This is the inside of this one... I love this dragonfly paper by K and Co... really a very special paper for me...
Yet another one...
This one I used a piece of K and Co paper with Glitter and butterflies...
I added another large flower... some charms.. and I made my Dream tag with a spellbinder...
I distressed it with distressing glitter and also some inks... always fun... I also used the Swirl by Tim Holtz's die templates...
The inside of the butterfly book...
Did you expect anything less???? More Butterflies of course... a little silk ribbon that I made from a piece of cloth hanging around in my studio...
So there you have it...
A nice fun little project... now all I have to do is to give them a few pictures prior to giving them as presents to people...
Hope you are creating... go to the two sites listed above... you will certainly see lots of goodies at both... join in on the fun... create a resist project...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... love it when you comment too... thanks for both...
Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Flowers fantasy for ME!!!
![]() |
| Blue Flowers |
I love making flowers… tons of them… when I get in the mood I use a die and cut some white paper… lots of flowers is the only way to go… I might use my Tattered Floral die by Time Holtz, or my Spellbinder Rose Creations… or even the carnation one… but I cut a lot of flowers from WHITE paper…
You can see some of the purple in these flowers... left over from the flowers I made a few days ago...
I also used five blues on these flowers...
Then I move on over to the paint area… I use my Twinkling H20’s.. or my dye spritzers that I have made with my re-inkers… I color all the flowers on both sides… adding some twinkling H20 gold… and also maybe some perfect pearls to make a little bit more sparkle… Now I have to add something here... as you can see the flowers might have a couple of colors on them... that is because my sheet that I work on in the paint and embossing area is NOT always clean... so the flowers pick up a little bit of character on each one to make it even more unique.... LOL... I love it when that happens... if I wanted a unnatural looking flower that was all one color.. .I would clean the sheet... but I love this look...
I wanted a dark center look... which I got using this lattice netting...
Then I might air dry them… or use my heat gun if I am in a hurry… but the next step is to turn them into flowers… to look like real flowers… buds, full blown blooming ones and even partially open ones… just having all the different sizes all painted is one part of it… but the rest is just as important…
Working the paper with a stylist, breaking the paper fibers up to do what YOU want them to look like… then gluing layer after layer all together to create that perfect flower for one of YOUR projects… love it… love each and every step of it… when I am all done… I add a little personality… the center of the flowers….. a gem, a few stamen, a pretty pearl and then they are ready… if I want a more formal look, I might add some glossy finish to make each flower look like porcelain… but each and every flower is so very unique that it makes them really look like the real thing…
Making sure that the flower you use for the project is the right one is just sheer pleasure… having a lot of flowers to pick from is certainly a joy.. hope that you will try and make some to glamorize your special projects…
Okay... now I had to try a different type of flower... I was over on Tim Holtz's blog... and he had shown how to make flowers from using Glassine... I dont' have any!!! SOoooo when I dont' have something I try using something else to get the same effect and look... so this is my try at that look... I used parchment paper....
I used Perfect Pearls by Ranger and put it on each layer prior to putting the flower together... I used water and a heat gun to set the color...
On this flower, I used dry Perfect pearls... and did nothing at all to set it... and the flower is very delicate and sweet looking... love it...
Now with this flower... I did nothing to it at all.. it is 100% parchment paper and nothing else... I love the way the picture came out... and I call it misty... so soft and sweet looking...
Maybe I will make some more today… I certainly do enjoy it…
Hope that your day is special and that you enjoy each and every minute of it…

Octagon Explosion! ! !
Oh yes... I needed to do something that was alittle bit different.... you know me... always have to push the envelope a little bit at least... so I made an Octagon explosion box.... with some flowers on the top.... all a la Tim .... I used tissue tape all over this little box.. and of course some vintage paper, that is almost truly vintage as I have had it for so very long... LOL... at least 12 years now...
The flowers were cut with Tim's Floral Die template... adn the swirls were cut with the flourish die... yes by Tim... I painted the swirls with Twinkling H20's to give it a little pizzaze... and now I have to decorate the inside... I will show you when I do that too... but I wanted to share this one with you... as I know that you will want to make one too...
You can see that the sides have 'spaces' and that something is going to happen... LOL... love the openness of this box... I think I will put some vintage pictures of my Mom in this one... it will be so cute... I am also going to put layers of pages in each section too...
I used the tissue tape all over the box as you can see...
Just a little bit closer for you...
Since I have dial up, I have to use very small pictures... so when you click on these... there is nothing larger... ooooops... sorry about that...
Some day they MIGHT get some phone lines in this remote area... and then I will be able to get dsl... YEAH....
My neighbor says that she lives in Podunk... and I always say I live in Paradise... but with the DSL.. I am starting to think that there is another name entirely for this kind of abuse with no dsl... LOL...
Anyway... this is a little bit closer...
No here is what happens when you take the top off the box... an octagon explosion box... !!!
Yes I used a lot of tissue tape... I love that stuff... great... and if you have any problems with it not sticking... just use a little white glue and it is fine...
I think I have all the 'flavors' of the tape... and... even the Christmas ones... they are all fun to use... and the Halloween one is being used for a Type print tray for Halloween... yes I have started on Halloween already... better early than late... and besides... kids need things early on... not late... and it is for our grandson...
So dont' you think that this will be cute with more of these 'pages' loaded with pictures of my Mom as she was growing up... she is 92 almost... so these pictures are truly vintage plus... hey... so are my baby pictures... LOL... fun and games...
The flowers on the top!!!!
I again used a vintage paper to create them... and then the swirl die to add an accent... I didn't use any inks to 'antique' them yet... but I think I will when I add the additional pages... I will most likley add distressing inks to the entire project...
I just got so excited to share this one with you... so you are deeing it prior to it really being finished...
Have fun... and yes Wanda... it is fun... let it go girl... your style will soar with it... great fun... a little bit different... but still the flowers and swirls... love it...
Hope you all have a wonderful day... thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope to see ya'll back here... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Journal for the Journey
So many times we need to make changes to grow a little bit more in a different direction... so I have done this.. and it feels so good... I will still be doing all my fancy things... but still love this more earthy look too... The Earth Mother is really in need of some attention... and so I am going to give her some due attention as much as possible... so hold onto your chairs...
First off... I made our kids some Journals for a couple of journies they have had or are having... our son is in Germany on a chainsaw carving Excursion.... and our daughter just got home from a lovely Mexican trip... so thought they both needed some little journals for these journies...
So... to start off with, I made the hearts by drawing a freestyle heart... and it is about 8 inches long... and about 4 inches wide... I cut the hearts out of cardboard... and then put vinatge papers on all the hearts... I had four to cover...
I stamped the bird... of course it is a Tim Holtz Stamp.... and made another free style heart for the saying... "Times we HEART on our" and then stamped JOURNEY.... one book has dream and the other has play...
One book has a Simplify coin and the other an artful coin....
On the back of each journal I put a nest... and the stamp that says He who returns from a JOURNEY is NOT the same as he who left... how very true...
I cut a stack of cardstock out to match the heart shape... and punched it all to create the book... what fun it was...
But of course I had to go a little bit more...
On the inside of each of the journals I used some papers from Tim's Lost and Found pad... so great for these books....
The labels are on the front and the plates on the back...
I used lots of Distressing ink on these... On the outside covers I used Antique Linen and on the inside I used Photo....
What fun are these... try making some... the theme can be for anything... but what a fun book to tuck inside a scrapbook with some thoughts written down...
There are so many fun things to make and create... and all I need is a little push... so this was one of those pushes... I have been pushing myself a lot these days... Hope you will take a look at Tim Holtz's site... lots of fun things and very interesting examples of fun art work going on there... also check out this site... called Studio L3 for some challenges and fun...
Hey... Thanks for stopping by for a visit ... I do so hope you will come back... I have a really fun box to show you next time... so come on back... thanks again and have a FUN day... Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

A little of this and a little of that... all in a box
![]() |
| Yesterdays memories |
I had little ziplock baggies of things that were my hubbies relatives trinkets... and I really didn't know what to do with them... I did add a few of my own, but generally these are from his family...
A Bridge token across the Delaware River... from Philly into the Camden area... a little sterling silver pencil that open from 2 inches to 4 inches... so delicate... typically a womans pencil to put snuggly into a SMALL purse... (his grandmothers) a pair of button cuff links... some of these things people today don't even understand what they would be used for... LOL... how about the Charge coin... prior to the 60's when charge cards came out... my mother and all other women who shopped had a coin for the their favorite stores... it was a
charge coin... and it had the store emblem on the front and a number... your account number on the back...
and then a little pair of embroidery scissors... or nail scissors... a porcelian broach... a cameo earring...(All of these were his Grandmothers) and a fraternity pin year of 49.... old pen nibs, and watch throbs... safety pins... very old ones... some even rusted... which generally doesn't happen with todays safety pins at all.. only nut lugs and screws... a tool to use on the buttons of your shoes.. an old pearl necklace... little bottles... and old watches... and how about little flash bulbs from cameras.... LOL... ask someone in their 20's about that... they look at you like you have 10 heads...
These boxes are covered with vintage type papers, and then you use a tissue tape to go all around everything... how neat is that... love the look... and when this all dries, I will put some feet on it...
Each little compartment is lined with paper, and then the edges I used tape on... the tissue tape is really a lot of fun to use... but sometimes it doesn't stick... so you have to use a little white glue... not a problem... as the look is so neat...
Here I used some Ideaology from Ranger and took some of the film negatives... (again something that is no longer really used...) and some tiny little cards to create a Lady Luck area...
The little bottle I used some alcohol inks to stain it... and then recork it... I loved working on this configuration box... and will be making a lot of them in the future... as I want to create some travel boxes and also some holiday boxes... like a scary Halloween box for my grandson... what a fun thing for him to have... yikes... I am addicted...
Creating all the fun little areas is really a lot of fun... but you have to have collections of STUFF to use... so I am now spending time looking for pockets of junk in the house.... and yes I can find some... but not as many as I would like... everything is too big... so maybe I need to do a whole wall configuration box... LOL.. wow that would be a fun project...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and do hope that you come back again soon... we finally got some rain today... and so the plants in the gardens are singing... they so enjoyed it... hope that you have some rain... nothing major... just enough to water the plants... and keep the soil in good condition... enjoy your time outside... Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Purple Beauty
Double Purple... light and dark and also in between .... love all the shades I was able to get into this card... sometimes the purples clash... but these worked together well... it might not look the same as in real life... as the colors are a little bit different in the cameras eye... LOL.. but in real life.. really pretty...
I wanted to have a lot of different colors of purple... for all kinds of layers and flowers...
I added the ribbon to flow across the top of the card... with a tiny bow holding it down on the left side... but it also starts on the tag... Earth Laughs in Flowers... and then the main sentiment...
Your Mean the WORLD to ME!!!!
I love these two sayings... and they might not apply to every one in your life... but so many people mean the world to me for so many different reasons... so this applies to most of my close friends... and also others...
I tried making some in between purple flowers with card stock... I created open and also closed ones... a lot of fun to make them all come alive at different times...
Laughing is a good word for a flower to open up...
As you can see I also painted the Just Rite Flowers to match the Spellbinder flowers... so pretty...
hope you have a wonderful day... and that you enjoy every second of it...
Love, Light and Peace.... Bonnie

Butterflies
This morning I had a beautiful sight…
My mother was put into the hospital last night with Phenomena and even though she is 92, and feels good, one still worries… she is very upset, as her room in the hospital in right next to the room where my Dad crossed over into the next experience… so she is a little bit upset, but she also forgets things at this time too…so hopefully she will rest and get better really quick... she is very strong and determined to experience all that there is....
Anyway… I decided to call our daughter and let her know what was going on, as I knew that she would want to call her Nana…. And while we were talking a saw a fluttering outside my studio window… and it was about 20 monarchs flying in a circle… spiraling upwards… so very beautiful…
I have never seen this before… but it certainly was a wonderful view… they flew off before I could grab the camera… but it will certainly stay in my mind… The card from yesterday reminds me of this view…
Thanks so much for all the beautiful nature around me each and every day… I love it all…
Please send my Mom some love... she needs it now...
Hope that you have a wonderful day… and even though it is so very hot across much of the USA I hope that you can get a breath of fresh air and enjoy nature too…
Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Blessings Each Day....
Each New Day is a Blessing…. Oh how very true that is… no matter what is going on in your life… each day is a blessing… I had to use this saying and use this pretty apricot color to show the emotion behind that truth… I started off with a K & co paper that is dotted… love it… I have a whole 12 x 12 folder of all my dotted papers… my very favorite printed papers… well some of them… anyway they are special to me…
Then I used a piece of off white/cream paper and ran it thru my Cuttlebug with the Kassie Embossing folder… and used the same folder on the next layer too… on the next layer I used my H20’s to accent the layer.. and also another Just Rite stamp…. Love it…
The Butterfly is a Spellbinder … and I used some distressing glitter to accent it…
Now the flowers… I used the carnation set to create this more open style flower… and used a piece of paper that I painted prior to cutting out the flower… I also used some of the distressing glitter in the center of the flower along with a large pearl…
Hope these will get you to start to make some pretties for your cards… I love making flowers… I think you knew that already… LOL…
Thanks for stopping by… have a wonderful day… and enjoy every single minute of it…

The very back of the project...
The front of the box again… in case you have forgotten what it looks like… and t hen pages in the middle… you will have to flip back again to see them…
But now for the back of the box… my final part of this project…

I wanted to put a signature tag… as I always sign everything… I always hand write it too… Created with LOVE by Bonnie and the date… like 2011…

this time I didn’t have room for the date… but did get all the other on this tag… so that is in the lower left corner of the back…

Then I had this really lovely tag from the paper set… and had to use that… although I did use a set of Grunge board wings for her… and also used a post card from one of the sheets of paper in the set Once upon a Springtime… I love that set of papers… and now I have a box to show how much I love them… and still have a lot of the paper left over… no hardship there… I will use them when I feel the time is right for another special card or project… (I did call up the store and have them put some more of the paper aside for me… as I love it… ) LOL… who said I was addicted to paper??? How do you know me so very well… ???? You are right… and I love every minute of it too… hope you are loving what you do… and that you have found the inner child in you… and that you do allow her to come out and play every once in a while…
