Oh what a fun challenge that Ink On My Fingers did this week… It is WISH… we all have wishes… and Hels, one of my wishes is that you get better really fast and that your MOJO comes back forever not to leave you again… that is not fun…
Okay… so my tag…. I got started on my Christmas tags and this is one of them… it is called I wish to live forever… what snowman wouldn’t ….
I had fun making this tag…
The tag was embossed with the snowflake design from Cuttlebug folder… then I used a an ink pad that I created with three different colors… broken china, weathered wood and concord grape, and lightly ran over the snowflakes… I used weather wood Stain and ran it along the sides of the tag…
Using the Tim Holtz oval embossing folder, I created the snowman section of the tag… and used a snowman stamp by Inkadinkado… I love this cute little guy… if you look inside the snowman you see all the Christmas things we all love… Santa in his sleigh and the snowflakes etc…
I used weather wood stain again around the edges of this torn tag… and then glued it onto the larger tag… and then using Utee covered it all…
Then came the fun part I dyed my seam binding… yikes I love doing that… let them dry and then finished the tag by adding some charms… the two safety pins have paper beads on them… and then I added a “few” on the ribbon.. I used a couple of old beads and added some small ones to the dangles… and then added a Muse token… FOREVER….
The paper beads are fun to make… a must for everyone to at least try making a few… but a very elongated triangle about 4 inches long… using a thin dowel or bamboo scourer you wind the paper triangle around the dowel… gluing it to finish it… (the widest part of the triangle is in the center of the bead… ) what fun… I use a large needle to get the beads put where I want them… so much fun to create something that really matches what you desire in your minds eye…
Thanks Hels for the great challenge… love it…
Hope you all have a nice day… we are a wee bit warm around the gills here today… but maybe sometime soon we will have a breather of some nice cooler weather… looking forward to that… that is for sure..
Thanks for stopping by… hope to see you here again…
Love, Light and Peace…Bonnie

ReplyDeleteOh Bonnie thank you so much for your lovely "wish" Your kind words have lifted my spirits today, I have been sitting watching the disgusting and shaming atrocities on the news - and to be honest, I was feeling very upset and you, my dear, have restored my faith in the human race. THANK YOU.
