A TIME from the past

I have been having a lot of fun with the pictures that my Mom sent to me about two weeks ago... made a few albums... they are here... just take a look for them... and making all kinds of pages now for a book for me...  This is one of those pages... 8.5 x 8.5 and then I will create a book from them all...when I get them finished...

This page is a combination page... it is not only for my book, but also for Theme Thursday Challenge    this week the challenge is to make an ATC... which for those of you who don't know what an ATC is... (Artist Trading Card)  2.5 x 3.5 in size... and you trade them... never to be sold... I use to trade these cards by the dozens... literally too.. I had over 4000 of them... and about two years ago I decided that I would really like to have the closet they were stored in, so I gave them to a nursing home to make cards from them... you should have seen the faces of the ladies at the nursing home... you would have thought I had given them a million dollars... they are still using some of them... making all kinds of things from them...  they love them...

My Mom on the beach at 18 months old.

Little driver...

Quality Time with her Mom... on the beach.

Anyway... I do drift from time to time.. have to try and stay focused...  Back to Theme Thursday...

So I made four ATC's... and used pictures of my Mom and her Mom on them... and then created a page by using them all... wow.. I love it... so great...

I also had a couple of other new Challenges that I wanted to enter... and the theme at both of these challenges was WORDS... Well far it be it from me not to have WORDS... of some kind... LOL...

Anyway... I wanted to do Simon Says Stamp and Show  and also Ink on My Fingers ... so the words are are many in all the ATC's individually and also the whole page, which as it says is a story....
Another word group that is so very important is QUALITY TIME... which so many of us forget to do each day... enjoy what ever it is you are doing... don't rush through something just to get to the next project.. or wish you were some other place... just enjoy it all...

I used all kinds of fun things on here... I took apart an old watch that didnt' work... I used some of Tim Holtz's ideology.. like the pins and also the metal flowers... I made the flowers that you see on here... one of them is made from paper that I painted and stamped... the red one... and the tiny orange ones are from punched flowers... and then the purple felt one.... this one is made from cutting out a ink pad that you use on the Tim Holtz handle stamper... I cut it out... and I like it... Also the little lime arrow is from the felt too...

I can't throw useful things out.. .I try and find a use for most items... better than being in the land fill...

I used papers from Tim Holtz's pads too... a little of this and a little of that created my page... I also made my own seam binding ribbon... love it...

Hope that you will take a look at this site and join in on the fun... I love challenges... and this one is always pretty nice...
Have  a fun creative day... I have to get back to  making more pickles...  have another 2 bushels to can... I feel dilled myself...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and come back soon...

Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
