Tea Cup making Tea Bag Tiles

The other day I was on a site… and they had the prettiest china tea cups… it was a card challenge blog… called Artful Affirmations
And I just was so drawn to this particular cup and saucer.. so I took the picture and made a tea bag tile from it… The tea cup is , I think the anniversary china for the King and Queen of England... on their 60th anniversary... can't remember... just so pretty...

I changed the color a little bit, as it got distorted in the computer anyway… and all the programs etc… so one came out a little dingy looking, so I changed it to a more purple color…

This is the card I created with that tile…
I also used this card for Challenge MMSC74… Midnight Madness sketch Challenge… I also made another one too… so that will be along soon.. .

This is so very true and nothing of course is really a coincidence  but I had drawn this sketch to do… and had been putting it off and off… and then when I saw that it was the sketch for MMSC74 I did it… So I do love the sketch… and had fun with it…
On this purple card, I used the Brocade window Embossing Plus folder by Cuttlebug… and use the back side as the stencil to get the layers of color on it… then I added the layers of circles all cute with Spellbinders … and created the background for the medallion…

The pattern for the medallion can be found on any one of my CD’s for sale at Medallion Art  blog… please check it out…

Okay.. then if you know me at all.. I am not satisfied with ONE card.. or one way… have to find another… so this one I used a brighter purple… which matched this pink perfectly… go figure… but it really is a purple… I used the Blooming Bouquet Embossing Plus folder by Cuttlebug for this one … and again used the back side to color the embossing… love it… such a neat thing about these folders… I put the medallion in place.. a few bows and a ton of pearls… how dainty is this card??? Of course the frame around the edge is by a Martha Stewart punch… love them..

Hope you have a fun day.. I have more to share with you… so scroll down…
Love, Light and Peace… Bonnie
