Oh the season of remembering all the wonderful things that you have seen, taken part of, want to give thanks for, is upon us... Thanksgiving is the 'theme' of the Just Rite Challenge this week... and that is great... as it does make me stop and thank everything that is needed to be thanked... also the people that I need to send Thanksgiving day cards to... I have so many to make.....
So here is the first one..
It really is a striking card in real life... and I really love the way it turned out, if I do say so...
It was not that difficult either...
I started off with the Cuttlebug embossing plus folder... Brocade Window... my favorite.. I opeded up the back and stenciled it with some Ranger inks... I think it was aged mahogony??? Can't really remember.. anyway... very very lightly inked it... then I used the Swiss Dot for the center... and left that all white...
Spellbinders Sunflower 2... I made a lot of them... colored them also with assorted yellow inks by Ranger... I added some black tiny pearls in the center of these flowers for the seeds...
Okay... then I cut out some oval scallops for my Simple Blessings sentiment... One is with Core dimension paper... and I sanded that... and then I used a piece of orange painted H20's paper... and then with the paper that I stamped on, I used a very pales peach marker... dn the added pale peach pearls all around it... love that with the black ink... very striking.
The bow... double faced stain ribbon by Morex... it is 1.5 inches wide... I love that rich satin bow...
Thats it... simple... for SIMPLE BLESSINGS by Just Rite... How special is that... I would love to receive this card... and hope that the person I send this to does also..
I am having a very proserpous afternoon... and have gotten almost everything on my list done... WOW that is a first... maybe I can read for a while, while the sweet potatoes are cooking... I would love that...
Talk later... Thanks for stopping by for a look at my card... please scroll down to see my Purple Plus some... it has a tea bag wreath on it... Thanks.... and have a fun evening..
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
