Let It Snow

Let it snow…
Another really fun and easy card…
Most of my cards are 5 x 7… just because I really enjoy the size… and need more room to play in… LOL.. anyway… I had this little tiny scrap from another card laying on my table… and I loved it so much that I couldn’t throw it away.. .I am trying to throw away scraps… as I have so many that I will never use them in a million years… but this one was so cute…
I cut it in half… and thought about the sketch for Midnight Madness.. so I went after some more paper… and added this adorable little penguin from Just Rite stamps… and the Let it Snow … perfect card…

I have to tell you something about the let it snow… it is very faint… as I wanted something very light to resemble snow falling… glittery… soft, and light…
I used my watermark pad by Ranger (Versa Mark)  and then used my Perfect Pearls by Ranger on it… it is just the way I wanted it… but it looks very very light in the photo, and in real life just a little darker… so delicate, soft and light… love it.. then I added some sponged ink behind on the beaded oval… and some gold and glitter around the edges… love the look… love the card… and it is a small one… 4X5 wow… so very small to me… cute…
Another secret… I bought a package of paper at the Mighty Dollar store… it is a name brand… but I really didn’t care for too many of the prints in the package… and there are only 6 prints… and like 6 pieces of each… the green dotted paper was one… and that I love… but there was this really ugly snow flake paper… and I didn’t know what I was ever going to do with it… well yesterday I ran it thru my Cuttlebug with the Snow flake 5x7 folder… and then used some Stream ink (Ranger ) and sponged it onto the embossing… wow… I LOVE THE PAPER… so if you don’t like some paper, try that and see if you can create something that you REALLY love… I can hardly wait to use it again.. now I hope that the 6 sheets last me … LOL… you just never know how lifes paths are going to twist and turn, do you..

Have  a fun day…
Love, Light and Peace…Bonnie
