Create in your MIND

I know that I will add some words to this page someday... but for right now... it is finished...  I love the flowers and have made a digital out of them... I put them into my journal for safe keeping...

Then a few days later added the face...
That is one thing about doing a journal that I love... I always add more when I feel like I need to for a certain page or area...  it seems to always be ready to do it with also...

The girl appeared on my sketch pad the other night... and so I tore her out and added her to this page... I love her... she is creating in her mind... and the music is strong...  so is nature.. it is a sweet song...

She keeps on appearing on my pages... and I think it is nice that she does...  only part of her shows.. the spiritual side of the face... the left eye... where the spirit resides...

Meditation is so very profound and wonderful...  when I meditate I get some really great drawings afterwards.. both are so rewarding...

Hope you have a wonderful day and week-end...  enjoy your time with family and friends...  Tomorrow being Father's day is a special day too..  to honor all the DAD's out there...  we love you all...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope to see you soon .... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

A LONG Story called SYNCHRONICITY

SYNCHRONICITY
WOW what a word this is… and so very powerful in so many ways…  I guess it all started on Tuesday of this week… I was trying to clean up my studio and realized that my paper bins were over flowing… you see when I have low energy I will pick up a paint brush and make background papers… or pick up a spray bottle and mist some backgrounds… I love them all… but I doubt I will ever use them all the way that I thought I would.. so I decided to make a ‘few’ journals with the papers…
That was Tuesday…

On Wednesday we went shopping up the mountain and I had the opportunity of watching people as they passed me …  I love people watching…  especially in this place… as there are all walks of life… and each person is so very interesting to me…  So this very elegant woman passed me and I told her that I thought she was Beautiful… which she was…  She had beautiful dark skin that was so warm and rich looking…  and she had on the most glorious colors.... they were tan, apricot, lime green with a touch of turquoise and a long  long, long pearl necklace that almost reached here knees…  and she was tall…  so this necklace was very long… Oh she was so stunning.. I can still see here in my minds eye..

That was Wednesday

Yesterday I started to cut my paper for the journals... and created a huge mess... and so I took a break from that and created a larger mess and made a few things...  LOL.. in other words I had FUN!!!!

I made this page for one of my New Journals... and loved it...

In one of the new Journals I am going to do a page a day and it is going to be my MOOD or feeling for the DAY... so yesterday I was trying to go with the FLOW of things... and totally enjoy all ... and yet feed my inner feelings... I even took a needed nap!!!  And totally enjoyed that too.. yikes... what a fun day...

My hubby and I made dinner together ... and sat and talked and ate something that we hadn't had in YEARS...  enjoying that too...
This morning I went to check on a few sites... and low and behold I found that  Julie at Blazer Designs had been  making journals the same way as I was making them ... WOW... SYNCHRONICITY.... and then I noticed that she had posted a space for entering a journal page... which I did... and then I noticed that the gal from the ART Journal CAFE
also had an entry... and I hadnt' checked on that site in a few days...  so upon checking that site low and behold there were the colors of the woman on Wednesday...  WOW... SYNCHRONICITY   PLUS...

So with that story all told... you can understand a little bit better why I have pictures of all these journals... LOL... I had a lot of paper and cut it into sizes perfect for me to journal on...  but I did put some of the papers back... as I might need them for other things too.. LOL... oh come on... I have to save a few things... don't I ???

So here are the undecorated journals..

But when you open them... they all have different pages in them...  as the papers are all originals... and all ready to be journaled on.. oh what fun I am going to have...

Sprays, masking, dribbles, you name it... I have papers that prove I have done it...  and then again some other things too...

All fun and I love them all..

Each one unique...
Different colors...

Different feelings...

And maybe if I choose not to journal on a page or two.. .that will be okay too..  since they are mine... I can do with them as I please... wow... such a fun thing...

So onto the Challenge at the Art Journal Cafe...

I used the colors... as I had been wanting to use these colors since I had seen this stunning woman the other day...  but I had to add a few things...   The PEARL is the paint dabber I used too...  Oh when you are in SYNCHRONICITY you do it all over the place... I wonder how many other people have been having synchronicity all day today too... I know that my hubby and I have been all day long...  amazing...  I love it too...  I hope that Julie and also the gal over at the ART JOURNAL CAFE read this...  I wonder what made them do the things that they did... color wise and to make journals with old painted papers...  FUN HUH???
I decided to just use the colors and the WORD... my word for the DAY... to say the least...

I had to use a page that I had started a long time ago on this same color challenge too...  so here is that one...  with the pearls...
 It all began like this...

And then I kept on adding colors and playing with it...

And then this is what I came up with...  I added the pearls and was done...  other than adding todays word

SYNCHRONICITY....

Hope you have a wonderful day...  enjoy it all...  I am... as you can tell...

Thanks for taking the time to read all this... and also for stopping over to see my play results...

A little FUN!!!

What FUN I had making this tag ..  It was for the challenge over at STUDIO L3
Technique 10: Tissue Wrap Flowers
So I started off trying to figure out what kind of background I wanted..  I have been working on all kinds of projects all day long... a couple of challenges and with each one I took my time and totally enjoyed each section of the project...

If you read the next page on this blog, you will see the reason for the tag...  I really have been having a day filled with FUN!!!  In so many ways...

So you see I had all these scraps left over from my next project...  sounds funny... but the truth...  and I wanted to use them... as I don't like small pieces of paper in the studio.. they seem to get lost and never used... and I really did want to use them... they are all papers that I made using Twinkling H20's and journal pages etc... so they are each special in their own right...

So I took a piece of heavy cardstock... enough for two tags... and started to glue the strips onto the paper...

And this is what it turned out to look like... I will use the other one soon...  not in any hurry... I love making these kinds of backgrounds...  so very much fun... and so very elegant ...
Then I made my flower according to page 37...  and it came out pretty... but was not going to be right for the tag I wanted to create... as it is going into one of my newest journals...  LOL..

So I made another one... and this time I flattened it out so that it looks like a sunflower... I cut out a suede cloth center... and it was just the right size...
 As you can see here...

I might use the other one for a gift I am sending to a friend...  but not really sure...

But It will not go to waste... believe me.. too pretty to not use it...
So I wanted it another color too... so I used my Dylusions sprays and voila' I had my sunflower!!!!   I used some leaves from Pretties by Bonnie
which I colored using Distress markers... I love the greens in that set.. and the nice part about the set is that I dont' have to buy another WHOLE set.. I can just get the individual pens that I have used up... which the greens ones are almost there...  I LOVE THEM... great for leaves for all my flowers...

 As you can see....
Since this is a Tim Holtz challenge... I had to add a few more things all Tim... so I stamped this saying... which sold the set of stamps to me in the first place... and then added a little 'inspire' energy...

I really had fun and hope that you will try this challenge and create a flower like this... they are so pretty...

Thanks for taking a look and hope that you have a wonderful week-end...  I know that we will...  Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there... no matter where they are ... they are all special DAD's...

Pearl Dabber.. I love it...

Sometimes when I do a journal page I love the way it turns out, as I have found a new something that I love...
Well that happened on this day...

I had drawn some flowers... adding a few to my colletions for Pretties by Bonnie    .... which I love to do also...

I painted my flowers with all different kinds of paints...  some were Twinkling H20's and some were dyes from my re-inkers by Ranger... and also from Distress inks...
After I finished painting all the flowers... I wanted to add another dimension... so I grabbed my stencils and also the first dabber that I saw... which happened to be the pearl!!! have you ever used it... when it picked up my bakground  which was done with Dylusions sprays...
Which I also happen to LOVE... the brightness of these sprays is delightful to me in all ways...

So the colors became ONE with each other... and it shimmers and shines in the colors ... I love it...

I think the dylusions were just damp enough to pick the colors up... love the look it gave to the page...
That is why I call this page... CREATE WITH LOVE... as I did and I got wonderful results with it...  so much fun...

The pearl does not look white at all... it has picked up all the colors that are under it...

So that is my page for the day...
HOpe you have a creative day and a fun one too... enjoy the day totally...  play a lot and enjoy it all..

Thanks for stopping by... see you soon...

Quilt Square

I wanted to share this Quilt square with you today... but the pictures didn't come out too clearly... the background is not yellow... it is muslin... off white...  but you get to see the general idea of it anyway...

I just drew some flowers and used my Tim Holtz markers to color... also used some Adirondack markers and also some Twinkling H20's on them too...
I had a lot of fun doing this one, as I didn't feel that I had to color in all the flowers or the leaves...  just sort of sketched it...

Love the loose feeling of it..
This will show the colors of the flowers a little better...  I don't know what is wrong today with things... seems like the electric is messed up in the house...

We finally had 1/2 inch of RAIN!!!!  YEAH... things are a little damp this morning... we are so very happy...
Hope you are happy today too.  I have five friends whose birthdays are TODAY!!!  So Happy Birthday to you all...

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon..

Knick Knacks

Today the Challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and Show  is ANYTHING GOES!!!!  WOW... and I just finished my special little house...  I have been working on this little house for a long time...  adding little things that I wanted to put into this project...  Collecting things over the years and also adding some things from present time...  they are all special to me... and this way I can view this house and bring those memories to my mind NOW...  I love this house...  right down to my favorite number 6...

It all started when I was a little girl and saw a knick knack shelf at one of my parents friends houses... I loved all the little special things that were on the shelves...  so I started to collect little tiny things from places that we visited and started to put them all onto a small shelf...  The little blue dog was given to me by the lady whose shelves I started this collection from... she gave that little dog to me a long time ago...  she just recently passed away at the age of 96... she was a very special person...
And over the years I have collected quite a few things... some of course would not fit into the tiny little boxes of this configuration box by Tim Holtz  which I love to make and enjoy them all over my house...  so much fun...

I have also added some things that I wanted to put into this collection.. such as a few more snails that I have collected over the years... and also was given by friends...  a wish bone from one of our chickens... but this is to represent all the wish bones that my brother and I use to play with to see whose wish would come true...  LOL... do you remember all those funny things you did as a child...????
These little birds I bought up in Cape Cod one summer ... and was going to put them onto a pocket book... but never got around to it.. I was about 10 when I bought them...  My crafting ideas started a LONG time ago in my life...  As you can see I have added some things like paper flowers that I made using a TH template... and also leaves from Pretties by Bonnie
The little blue heart I painted years ago when I had gotten into painting on wood... and I had saved a few tiny pieces as memories... this is one of them.. .I painted anything that was wooden...  I would spend hours making one little tiny painting...  as this one... adding little strokes to a wing etc..

Always a special treat to eyes... I gave most items away over the years ... and when we moved I gave all the large away...  so I only have a few memories of them.....  but I would not be able to move in my house if I didn't share with others...  LOL... Know that most of us are like that too...

I wanted to make a little closet in the house... as every house has a closet..  I wanted to put the memory of collecting bugs and putting them into jars to study them...  I use to love to collect lightening bugs and put them into my room as a 'night light' during a hot summers night... only to find out that they were all dead in the morning... so I stopped doing that.. as I didnt' want to hurt little ones...
So this is a memory and also a tribute to all the little ones that took away from their natural habitat...

I had fun making this section of the house too...
I had bought some little tiny buttons about 5 years ago...  and finally found a good home for them.. they actually fit into one of these little bottles!!!!  I won the little spools from a challenge on Simon Says Stamp and Show...  as the store there is WONDERFUL to shop in...  so many things that you don't see anywhere else!!!  Take a look and see all the great findings in this store!!!  This little cubby is to represent the hours I spent trying to sew as a child... of course now I love to sew and wish I had more time in my schedule to sew...  I should just take the time and do it...
The drawers of course are little boxes turned side ways... and little TH knobs put onto them...  I love it... as I have some special things in them...  one drawer has birthday candles from our daughters birthday...  and some sheeps wool from a recent trip to a sheep farm... and also some lace from an old dress...  Everything in this has a memory to it...

If you have not made one of this configuration boxes you should think about making one... they are fun, a challenge in themselves and also make wonderful gifts...

Well we are FINALLY getting a little light rain... I hope we get a heavy rain too... keeping our fingers crossed...  our soil is so very dry...  this rain we have gotten over night has not even made a dent in the rain needed... please think rain for us...

Have a wonderful day and enjoy creating something special... I am going to be painting on quilt squares all day long...  I will share some with you soon...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and for all the wonderful comments and messages you send to me...  Enjoy your day...

Pinks ! ! !

 PINKS ! ! !
That is the THEME on Stamper Sunday... so I added another one to it... to use as many of my pinks as possible... with out getting into a color war... !!!

I used most of my major pinks from Ranger and also dylusions spray...  also come Tim markers, worn lipstick and also some Adirondack markers too...  for accents...  I used some
Pretties by Bonnie  for the embellishments... along with a dress form from Tims great die cuts...  I love it...

Yesterday I taught a class and this gal from way on the other side of the store was told to bring a trifold LOVELY over to show me.. it was delightful... and I will be working on a class to do this one... I think that a lot of the gals will love making it...  I know that I will.. I have it all planned in my mind too... it will be a fun plus project...

Anyway the Dress form was so cute... so I had to copy that onto these pages...
Since the Theme was PINK... I started off with some white gesso on my thin composition pages... they really should be doubled... but I will do that next time... if I think of it...  I used about 8 different printed papers... but first I stamped with a Tim stamp all over the pages...  then I used a blending tool and some archival inks on the edges... and then added these papers that I had chosen...  FUN ... you bet...
Then I used a few stencils and my Mountain Pink dabber...  more FUN!!!
I dyed some seam binding using my Dylusion spray... and then added a few flowers from the Dynomite daisies collection at Pretties by Bonnie

I have so much fun making flowers that I have to add them to almost everything I create...  just part of me... 100% ....

Okay... I felt I wanted to add a WORD... so I did... PINK in black with liquid pearl Flamingo dots...  is this pink enough .... ???  I hope it is...
And the dress form is so cute...  all embellished with one of Tim's folders... and I also used a piece of plastic ... repurposed  too... yeah me.. love using this ... as I did in my class yesterday too...  everyone by the way loved the class and we all totally enjoyed the time spent together...

I am going to be doing the class again during the week... so for those that missed it... you can have one more chance to join in on this fun class...
We are hoping for some rain today, tomorrow and Tuesday... we really need it so very much... we are in a serious drought... and need water for the crops...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope to see you tomorrow...

Also hoping that you have a wonderful day and evening...  Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

A Tail of Tales

As most of you who really know me.... you know that I love doing ALICE things... so here is another couple of things that I have made for ALTERED ALICE this month...

As promised the Front of my ALICE Journal... I love it...

I painted a few sheets with dylusion sprays.. and then stenciled them using some dabbers...  I just love the way that these types of papers turn out..I have fun making them too...  I put an Alice, White Rabbit and of CAT... on the front... I think that over time there will be things that appear...

The letters are Ideology from Tim Holtz's collection of letters... and I sprayed them with dylusion sprays...  and then three little white dots with a gel pen...

The Drink Me bottle...  had to be on the front of the book too... it is where it all sort of starts...

Alice is being Alice, by opening the book...

This months sponsor is STAMP ATTACK....  and Carol has sent us all these FANTASTIC STAMPS.... I have had so very much fun using them, creating with them... and have a few more things up my sleeves too...

Here is one of the Mouse with his Long TAIL of a SAD Tale...

I have written the section from the original book here too...

This is a close up of the little mouse..with his LONG tail...  I love this... what a FUN stamp to use....

Please take some time and look at the STAMP ATTACK site.. you will love the ALICE stamps...   I think you will really LOVE them all...  a hard choice to make... but start to today to collect them all.. they are wonderful...
