A little ATC break...

I love to shake things up a little bit every now and then... so today I am combining Tim Holtz's Tag Challenge with A Vintage Journey Challenge...  Since I have been using Tim's products for a very long time... (not giving away any secrets.... LOL)  I felt very comfortable joining in on Vintage Journey Challenges a few months ago... and on August 1st I won the Vintage Journey challenge with my Ode to the Butterfly... and so this coming week I will be an Honored Guest Designer; next Friday... (so please stop by to see what I created and also check out my blog... as I have a lot more there too...)

as you now know the Theme is ATC's...

Honoring My Tim Holtz's styles, products and STUFF
(the good stuff)  ...

When I clicked on A Vintage Journey this morning... I was so very happy to see all the ATC's...

 WOW

I am so very impressed...

ATC's have come a long way, since I last made any about 10 years ago...We use to take ATC's to trade shows and exchange them... and have groups that you sent these back and forth thru the snail mail... three at a time... and at our scrapbook monthly meeting we would take 10 ATC's and get back 10 Different ones... you could hardly wait to see what you received...

So very much fun... and so here I go again... way too many words.. but that is ME...

So here are a few that I made for Tim's August Tag challenge and also for A Vintage Journey

ATC's are small little pieces of ART... they are only 2.5 x 3.5 inches... and they have to be done smaller than the regular tags we do... so what stamps do you use...  well I used the smallest leaf I could find... which down at the bottom there is a 4 leaf collection on Tim's fall leaves... Voila' a leaf... so that was going to be my theme...  I love the way these came out...  the tag on the left... I stamped the first leaf in orange and yellow... it is there... just hard to see with the backgrounds... but there...

I also used Wendy Vecchi's stencil with the flowers....  small and just the right thing for the last moments prior to fall hitting us... which I feel is right around the corner...

Thus the first ATC...
TIME OBSERVATIONS...

Fall is coming faster than we realize...
I put insects all over the ATC's... as the insects let us know when the season is going to change...
the ants come in and try to get as much as they can prior to the winter... and the spiders make these huge webs outside, catching all the insects they can...  I love to watch the spiders... their webs are wondrously ART in THEMSELVES... masterpieces... and  the next day, after a hard night of catching and eating insects they have to repair the web... what a way to live...  ???

I added a few leaves onto this stenciled flower...  wanted the green across the ATC...

I love this texture paste... as you can make it really LUMPY in places... and so I was able to make the center of the flower look depressed... and added some really tiny dots as stamen...

Just a fun time... hope you enjoyed these... and hope you will check out A VINTAGE JOURNEY next Friday as well...

Thanks so very much for stopping by for a visit... and I hope to see you soon..  love it when you visit me...  I read all the sweet comments that you leave and appreciate them all..

Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
