Altered Alice is having a challenge and I have decided to write a little story.... still working on the ending... but if you have been following along... this is just another part of the story....
Alice is looking for the answer to the TOP SECRET that the Rabbit announced a few weeks ago... and Alice is asking everyone if they know what the TOP SECRET is??? Do you know... Do you know what a Gryphon is???
Well he and Alice has been talking for a long time... and all the other animals are all watching as they talk... he doesn't know what the Top Secret is... at all...
So Alice moves onto the Lobster and the Snail... and neither of them know either... did you know that these 'characters' were in Alice in Wonderland... ???? Amazingly they ARE... .so many of them... wild critters... LOL...
Another fun page to create and put into my Alice in Wonderland Journal... which I have to say I am working on the cover for... but might not have it done this month... still waiting on a few things ....
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope to see you tomorrow... Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Winter Wishes
Winter is here... and the colors that we will be using will all change... so I used Iced Spruce which I have been loving every time I have used it... a very winter color...
This tag is using one of the Techniques that Tim used... cutting something out... and then using crackle on it... and then putting a background paper and using Glossy Accent in the space... ( which is where the words Winter Wishes is..) I also did a reverse embossing... and then used
the snowflake die cut on the side...
I used the Spellbinder ornament... and then an old Cuttlebug die for the words...
A little silver tinsel cording on the ornament to decorate it up a little... and then I added a canvas snowflake...
I love all the different textures on this tag... they are all do very different...
Hope winter wishes are coming your way... and that you have a wonderful time no matter what the weather...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and I will see you tomorrow...
Have fun until then... Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Be Inspired #103 World Card Making Day
World Card Making Day is coming soon... so lets get started...The Challenge this week on Cuttlebug Challege Blog is to start to make cards for holidays, and general card giving...
So since I LOVE TO MAKE lots of cards... I made MORE...
Here is one that I made for a group meeting a few weeks ago...
The center of it is created with a 5x5 inch square that is then punched.. and then
folded into the center.. and then folded back out again... very easy and fun to create...
I of course added some Pretties by Bonnie which I painted with my H20's... and of course I added layers of flowers on each one you see... that really gives a nice look to the flowers..
The flowers are on a piece of paper that is 3.25 x 3.25 that just slips into the center of the frame... and of course it is embossed with Kassies Brocade... with a little bit of pink ink to show off the embossing..
I used a piece of Core~dinations paper for the background... and ran that also thru Kassies Brocade folder... and then sanded the embossing... but inked the edges with Ranger inks...
A little bit of hemp twine and it is done...

Another card that was really fun to make... of course if you know me... all the cards I make are FUN... I love making cards... and love playing with paper... so it is FUN FUN FUN....
I used the other two folders from Cindy Loo set...The leaves on the background I used Bundled Sage Distressing color.. and then Vintage Photo..
I mounted it all on a very delicate pink floral paper... something I generally would never do... but I love the sweetness of this look.. I cute out some leaves... and added a Medallion from my
Medallion ART CD's.. if you haven't taken a look at them... please do.. they are so much fun to create... and each CD has all the info you need to create this type of medallion for your cards, scrapbooks and other paper projects... so much fun...
I used a part of one of the folders in that Cindy Loo set to make the floral border and used Antique Linen ink... and then went over it with a pink distressing ink... love that look.. a little hemp twine... and then the punched border at the bottom... again I used antique linen ink to get that real old look to this card..

A very good friend... in fact one of the Paper Dolls, her Mom has Breast Cancer... and I wanted to make a card for her... so that when she came out of the hospital she would have it... so I also wanted to try this type of card... a fun little card...
I used a Spellbinder label 10 and off set the white card stock and made the card... then used the same die to make the pink front... Lots of frames of all kinds... and also used all kinds of embossing folders to add more dimension to this card... lots of love and healing went into this card... along with the PINKS for women power added...

A few pearls, a quilled flower using my trusty Cuttlebug Quilling Templates, and then a bow... and this card was frilly and loved oriented plus..

I had to leave this card until last... as it is really one of my favorite cards!!!!
I love daisies... and the medallion is made with a tile that I create so you can see the daisy...
Then I love the background paper... as I used another tile to make this background paper... printing it with a tiny grid... 7/8" large...
The paper the medallion is glued onto is Core~dinations lovely paper... which I embossed with a folder from the Heritage Group.. .it is a wonderfully ornate oval frame... very delicate and sweet... after I embossed it, I sanded it... for that soft look... love it... don't you..
I added a piece of off white dotted ribbon... and I had just enough to make the bow and run the ribbon thru the underneath part of the card... Phew... that was close.. I love the soft look of this card.. In real life the greens in the tiles match perfectly... for some reason the camera is not picking up the true colors of these tiles... but you still get the idea..
I do hope that you will make some cards for World Card Making Day... and join in our challenge...we would certainly love to have you join us there..
Thanks for visiting my blog today...

Be Inspired #101 Nostalgia with Craft Secrets

What a great theme this weeks challenge has !!!!
The theme is Nostalgia... and it is sponsored by CRAFTY SECRETS!!!
Love it...
So I was sent all these little pictures to tuck into neat kinds of places... what fun was this..
The first card was really one of a evolution process... have you ever had a messy work space??? None of us do right???
Anyway... I had punched some papers... didn't' know what I was going to use them for.. but would use them soon.. and there they lay...
I had this cute little girl... and she kept on landing on this pile... so I tucked her into the frame.. and then cute her basket so that it would hand over the edge... what fun is that...

I made some Prima flowers to match the colors of her flowers... adn a soft tan bow...
The Frame that she is sitting in of course the Elegant Ellipse Embossing Folder by Cuttlebug... need one... I have plenty... check out my Toyz 4 Paper store... on the right side panel of this blog...it is just a click away from buying at a really nice low price...
then I used a piece of pink dotted paper... and using my Fiskars border punch created a leaf border...
For the Daisies that I created with the Martha Stewart border and corner punch..
What a sweet card this is if I do say so... I love her... she is so sweet and precious..

Because I love farming, cooking, and I also love to eat raw foods... I have these great examples too.
This card... Cherries... wow.. do you love them or what... and this little picture is just so cute... I embossed a piece of paper with the Kassies Brocade Embossing Folder... I LOVE THIS ONE... I use it almost more now than the Swiss Dot... which is my all time favorite..
Anyway... the embossing is topped off with some Ranger inks..
Then mounted on some K and Company papers... antique ones... old buttons and scripts..
Then a border of Martha punching on some red K and Company paper... and then a Anna Griffin paper for the green printed background.. all antiquie type of papers...
I used a grosgrain ribbon to tie it off... as that looked like it needed it... old fashion type of card... love it...

I always have people who start to garden because I encourage them to GROW food for themselves... so I always give them a little book or journal for their Gardening notes etc...
So this is a tiny little book for a child who just started to garden... she is only 10.. but her notes I am sure will be precious...
I also used some of the other pictures from Crafty Secrets that you see popping out of the top and put small envelopes of seeds for her...
And I did give her onion seeds... and also some Heirloom corn, radish and okra seeds...
She will be ready for next years gardening...
I used a $1.00 little 4x4 book from the Dollar store... and covered it in K and Company printed paper... it is really a cute little book for her... the twine I twisted and made it look used, as I know that this book will look more than used in a few days... LOL.. she will enjoy it and that is the main purpose behind it all.

So this is a large one... 8.5 x 11 cover for a Gardening journal... it will be turned into a spiral notebook for a present at Christmas time...
I used the pear picture by Crafty Secrets... adn then colored some pears by Spellbinders with my Twinkling H20's... and added some leaves I cut out and they are 3D... and really give a dimension to the cover...
The cardboard is covered with that GREAT paper by Core~dinations... and then the edges distressed ...and then inked... really love the look of that... then I added a sheet of twinkling H20's paper that I made... adn then the Cuttlebug Folder... Kassies Brocade was used and then inked to create a very RICH look for my pear collage... what a cover..
The person that will receive this loves pears... and will be adding a lot of pear trees to thier garden this year... so it is perfect for them as a present.. Never to early for me to start to make Christmas presents... in fact I am a little late this year...

A fun filled and very detailed card...
Layers of all kinds of things...
The Embossing Plus folder... Circle Chic is the focal point... and then in the back ground Kassies Brocade takes over again...
I made four little medallions with the heart punch by Martha...
The strawberry picture is a CRAFT SECRECTS special... love this picture... so cute on this card..
Thanks for taking a look at the cards this week.. the challenge was certainly GREAT to use Crafty Secrets Art works with.. thanks so very much..
Hope you enjoyed them all..

Be Inspired #100 Happy Birthday to US
Happy Birthday to US... Happy Birthday to US...Happy Birthday dear Cuttlebug Challenge Blog...
Happy Birthday to US...
So this week the challenge is to make a Birthday card for US...
YEAH!!!!
The top card is made with a Medallion from Tea Bag Arts...
Go check it out... all the directions are in each CD so that you can also make a beautiful medallion like this... it is not difficult to create...
You will even receive on the CD grids on how to print the tiles... so you can make your own papers, tiles and much much more...
so many special things... Please take a look at these fun filled CD's...
at Medallion Art
I also just bought the set of folders called Cindy Loo... they are to go with the Cricut... but hey... an embossing folder is an embossing folder... so I used the paisley printed folders to create the background... love it..
Then some ranger distressing inks... and glued the medallion on... what a card to say Happy Birthday with...

Birthday's to me are a happy time... and this is HAPPY ...
Pretty pink flowers... and a green background created by an embossing folder and some inks... wow... all by Cuttlebug... of course..
The paper... oh my goodness... we have a dollar store by us ... actually 35 miles away.. but that is close around these parts... and they have all kinds of fun things to make paper creations out of... I don't need paper... BUT... it was so pretty... and only a $1.00 bill for over 30 sheets... wow.. how could I pass that one up??? Could you???

Here is a close up of the flowers... and I used the large scalloped punch by Martha to make the white lacy background effect...

A little more serious card... The single flower does make a statement..
and then all the borders also do..
I started off with a Martha stewart daisy flower punch and created the frame...
Then using the gingham paper again, I made a frame using a border punch by Fiskars...
and then using the right angle punching method that I taught in a tutorial last month... I created two pieces for the flower to sit on... one is a strip if you look closely..
A bow and the card was done.. other than the inside... where I put a very message...
Happy Birthday TO YOU..

I love making 3D emblems and embellishments for cards also... does that surprise you???
So this purple hat has 5 layers... all cut out and added one at a time...
and it is the highest part of the card..
As the pebble background is inked and then the rightangle punching is raised off that ... and the center of the Elegant Ellipse is also raised... wow... it is a small card for me... on 4.5X5.5 but so cute... I love it... and the friend it is going to will love all the purple too.
Hope you have enjoyed the Party today...
Please join us at Cuttlebug Challenge for a Party... bring us a card...
and enter our challenge... thanks a lot..
Thanks for stopping by today for a visit here...

Be Inspired #98 By the Sea

Oh what fun I had with this challenge...
First off...
the Images are by Digital Delights by Louby Loo
And they are so adorable... I just might have to make a few more cards for this challenge to share with you the images... they are really precious..
I usually do a little more realistic style of card... but these were really fun to play with... and
Play I did...
First off... I built a card that has 4 layers to it... you will see as you really study the card...
Lots of Cuttlbebug folders have been used...
Shell collage 37-1611
D'vine Swirl 37-1142
Tiny Mosaic 37-1146
Polka Dots 20-00207
Then I used some of the cutting dies... Such as the one with the shell and seahorses...
Which is 37-1120... Love that... it is so versatile. I use it far more than I ever thought I would..
Also the poppy one with the Honey comb... and I don't have that number...
The other items... like the adorable Mermaid, the Turtle, and the Grasses are all
Digital Delights by Louby Lou... Of course with a digital image, you can make these any size YOU choose to make them.. so it was fun... I made them a little bit larger, as this card is 6 inches wide ... and about 9 inches tall.. a little bit more... but close enough...

I took pictures of the card in sections... so that maybe you can see it a little bit better...
I am on dial up... ugh.. so I have to limit my size of picture.... sorry .. but it is the best I can do now... maybe sometime IF I ever get the opportunity to get this higher speed you will see the details of each little thing..
I have used Dimensional Pearls on this card all over...
Also Stickles by Tim Holtz, and also the regular ones... so the card does have a wonderful glimmer to it..

Here is the center of the card... with the cute little turtle... and his friends all around him ...
The large shell behind the seahorse is a cuttlebug folder... wow.. I love it like this..

And then the bottom that folds up so that when the card is ready for mailing it looks like the very first picture...
But from the side... it looks like this.. 1/2 inch between each section..
Love the style... and it is really a dimensional card... I have most items all popped too.. so each layer is 3D too..
What fun this was.. Thanks a lot LoubyLoo for the delightful Cahllenge...
Please go to Cuttlebug Challenge and partake of this Be Inspired Challenge... it is fun... and check out Digial Delights by LoubyLoo too.. what fun I have had with these fun critters..

Recylced Marerial Box
Wow... did I ever have fun with this project... !!!The Challenge was to make a project with some acrylic or acetate... if possible to recycle something... well that is the only acrylic or acetate I have... so that was not a problem for me... at all..
Be inspired #96... I do hope you try it.. because you might really enjoy this one..
I wanted to use some really large sheets that I had gotten the other day...
I even used the actual card board from the package too.. and guess what... it was from Cuttlebug supplies... of course..
Now I also used my new Embossing Plus folders.. and painted the paper with my Twinkling H20's and that is the only thing other than the brads that I used for this project... Oh yes... I did use a lot of tools, like an ice pick, tried my Japanese book drill and it was going to get ruined... so the ice pick really did a lot better job... I used my Fiskars paper trimmer with the blade for scoring... as when you try to do this type of scoring on a scoring pad it slips and slides all over the place...
That was it..
So I decided that I was going to use it to keep all my left over flowers in... that is just perfect..I love it... and it will look nice on my messy workshop space... but that is okay.. .we all need some class in our lives all the time...
Here is the front view of the box... and the side is last...What do you think???
An A plus...
I love it...
And it is all recycled material, with the exception of the two pieces of cardstock that I used for the embossing plus folders...
Love it.
Hope you enjoyed this... and thanks for stopping by... please join in our Challenge this week... we would love to have you there..

Be Inspired #94

So very much to tell you... and where to start...
Better start with these cards...
They are for the Cuttlebug Challenge BE INSPIRED #94...
I didn't have internet, (for over 3 days!!!! Talk about withdrawal!!!!!) and had forgotten to up load this prior... oops...
so here they finally ARE...
The theme was sympathy...
As you can sort of tell.. I don't use somber colors at all.. so to me this is a time for flowers... bright colors... love and all kinds of caring things... so my cards might be a little bit different than the next... but that is ME...
I have been having fun with the quilled flower templates... love them.... if you want to know more about where to BUY them... you can get them right here... at TOYZ 4 Paper... just click there... and it will take you right there...
I have them on hand... and they are so much fun...

Here is a closeup of the flowers... just wanted you to see them... they are so pretty and any color your heart desires is perfect.. you cut, twill and create your own blooms...
Of course the back ground on this card is also the paisley folder... love the look

This card is a mixture of all kinds of news...
First off... Martha Stewart sells punch SETS... but that doens't mean that you have to use them all as sets... on this square.. I have used two different ones... try it... it is fun..
Then I added a pretty heart... Martha heart..
All on top of D'vine swirls... I painted the paper... and then used my Cuttlebug folder to create the swirls... and then a Ranger ink pad to color the swirls...

I used Liquid Pearls for the center of the flowers for the stamen and accents... love the dimensional looks you can get with the Liquid pearls..
This saying... is a favorite... when I found it... I loved it..
When someone you love becomes a memory
The memory becomes a treasure!!!
How true is that... so perfect...

On this card I used all kinds of textures to show off my pretty blooms... love making these... and will be doing a tutorial soon.. .more on that later..

My last card... and this one is really a favorite...
The background paper... twinkling H20's... and then I used the Blossom Cuttlebug folder... 5x7 size... love it... and then a dark purple ink over it..
My bloom is single... as I added a few butterflies...
I went to a memorial service once where everyone was given a brand new butterfly... One that was just born... never flown before... and they were all white...
At a certain time, we all let it go... and it was so wonderful.. .the energy was amazing... and there was not a dry eye in the place... and there were quite a few people there... and to see all these butterflies take flight was a sight... lovely...
Okay...
I am so very sorry.. .I have had a lot of things happen to me...
First off my shoulder froze.. then My whole body turned into ONE HUGE hive... that really itches... yikes...
Then my internet didn't work... AT ALL...
I can't really tell you which is the worse thing.. .they all are about the same..
I am not quite as red today... and the hives are going down...
And I am connected to the internet.. so things are starting to look up...
I will try and get back onto schedule with the tutorials this coming week..
First off one on punching ... and then the one on Quilling... or maybe vise versa... will have to see which one wins...
Have a fun day..
Enjoy... and create something fun...
I have a lot of cards to share with you... they are waiting in the side lines...
Will start tomorrow..
I live.... I create... I am....

Be Inspired Cuttlebug Challenge #92
WOW... another challenge that I had so very much fun creating... love doing these... this one is a walk in the garden with a BUG... oh I have to tell you that I love bugs on paper and cards... I think that they are really neat...I also know the True Value of having Honey Bees also... and we are losing more every year to sprays and insecticides... and once they are all gone... the human race will follow... so please don't use those sprays.. or even buy food that has been sprayed... I could really go off on a long tangent but will leave it here...
My cards this week I have also added another Cuttlebug GOODIE.... the Quilling templates... oh my goodness what fun they are... I have been making tons of flowers... so you will see a lot of my cards embellished with them...
This one I chose to do was to honor the Honey bee... so my background paper I painted with Twinkling H20's... and then stamped with honey bees all over it... also with honeycomb stamp...
I then added a piece of white paper that I had run thru the Lace door template... love that one.. and then I added three of my quilled flowers along with a few leaves I cut out and a yellow chiffon bow... I also added a bow at the top of the lace door and the bottom... just for a tie in with the ribbon that runs thru the inside of the card..
I very rarely put any sentiment on a card, until I am ready to use it... and then I might not even put anything other than hand writting on the inside of the card.. jsut my way. This one card I wanted the ribbon on the inside... so I put that there... it will be okay.. as I love the look of it.
Another fun card... this one I used the Cuttlebug folder called polka dots... love it... a little more bold than the dotted swiss... and so it carries a big yahoo ... here I am look...So I put a delicate pendant (spellbinders) I used the eyelet one... and then put the center of the Elegant Ellipse(cuttlebug NEW emboss and cut templates) on top of it... My little grasshopper is just getting ready to pounce on the flowers and eat them all up... I added three quilled ones with a couple of brown bows... just for the balance of the flowers...
This is a 4.25X5.5 card... I usually only make 5x7 cards.. but loved the looks of this smaller card for these colors...

I loved the looks of these papers together... All the colors... and the prints just went together on my worktable... so I went with it... added this lovely brass bug...

Another BUG card... Butterflies are bugs.. jsut really pretty ones... I used some polka dotted paper that I ran an ink pad over... and then added some butterflies to balance out my quilled flower...
Loved creating all these cards... and I do hope that you will add YOURS to the challenge at the Cuttlebug Challenge this week... WE have had so many pretty cards published recently... I really would like to thank everyone that has entered one... they are all so very pretty.. I would love to comment on them all... but being on dial up it is really a problem with downloading all the blogs... at least 30 minutes on each one... ugh... I would never get anything created at all.. so please understand that... and be aware that I look at each and every one of them... And thanks for entered them...
Hope that you have had a pleasant time here... and please come back soon... Have a wonderfully happy day.. and enjoy every minute of it..
With Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Be Inspired # 91
Oh wow.. this week the Cuttlebug Challenge is so fantastic... it is Doilies and lace.. oh talk about something talking to YOU!!!! This really talked to me... I really wanted to do about 10 cards... but felt that one was worth a million.. so here it is..I am going to walk you thru the layers of this card... so many gals have written and asked.. so here it is...
The bottom layer is a Martha Stewart... most of my cards are 5x7... so if you make a A4 size you will have to adjust I guess... I dont' make too many of that size at all..
Then I have a layer of polka dotted pink paper... and that fits inside the frame... and that is trimmed with the antique lace...
(story time.... about 40 years ago, I went to a small store way out in the country of NJ, which is now very built up... but back then it was way out there... and I bought this BOLT of antique lace... it was very expensive to me back then... it cost me all of $6.00 I think... not more than that... and I still have about 8 yards of it left... can we say that I use it very sparinginly?? So this card is a special card to say the least... Each time I use it, it have to be something very special... and this one is... end of special story)
and then the pink ribbon is around the edges of that... I do use a wet glue... and it does make the card heavy, but that also saves it when mailing it... other than these delicate flowers... LOL..
(which when I ship a card like this, it is either in a box, or in a mailing envelope... where I have a piece of plastic over the flowers... when you buy something that has a nice dome to it... save it and recycle it with mailing cards that have flowers on them... )
Then I took a of a stack of paper doilies... and mounted them behind the Chic circle..
Which I pop dotted the Chic circle...which is in white... and not in off white... I wanted it to stand out... which it really does... and added the little tag in the pink polka dot too.. with the message"FLOWERS FEED THE SOUL" which in my life they do..
The flowers!!! I love the flowers... it makes the entire card to me... what do you think???
I took about 8 doilies and cut the center out... and made flowers out of the doily edges ... and put them all around the edges of the chic circle .. and mixed in some paper flowers that I made also...
I added a couple of little birds... one flying and one in the next... a little couple making a family ... and a tag saying how flowers feed the soul.. which let me tell you they certainly do..

Here is a closeup of the flowers so you can see it is a twist and gather method of making the doily flowers... very easy and quick...
The paper flowers are made from a punch... and then gathered around a pen... and glued in place... oh so very easy.. and if I do say so... very elegant and feminine...
I love it.. a favorite of mine... that is for sure...
When making cards... I have different piles...
and this one is going into the save pile... it will be in my collection until I do something to replace it, or something better... That is the way it goes around here...
Hope that you will look up the Cuttlebug challenge and join us by making a lace and doily card of your own... it is so much fun... please join us... we would love to see your creation..
Hope you will join us... and also I want to wish you the happiest of days... enjoy every second of it... and I will be back soon... I have had the pleasure of our son visiting us for the past two weeks... so I will get back to "normal" by Monday... I promise...

Cuttlebug Challenge Blog Inspiration #90
Welcome Wednesday.... I love this day... as I get to see so many wonderful things... I do so hope you will enjoy all that I have to share with you today...Today is the release of Cuttlebug Inspiration Challenge #90... and it is to CREATE AN EASEL CARD.... one of my very favorites... I love making these.. WE were suppose to use Minds Eye paper... and you will see what i have done below...
This first one is a very special card... I made it with Minds Eye paper... "Maggie May" and the back paper is from the group "Feeling Groovy"... I had asked a very good friend to see if she could find some for me at this shop near where she works.. and she brought me two sets of this paper... I loved them both... so I had to make two cards... of course... This paper was so wild... I love it... so I embossed the circular paper with the New Template called Perfect Perennial ... it is really lovely... and it cuts out this perfect little square so that you can fill it with something else... I love it... so I put that on top of a white background which as You can see I used a Martha punch to create... The paper flowers were made using a spellbinder daisy... and modified a little bit...
The bottom area, where you want to spot the top area... was popped... up as the stop... (Directions on how to make this style of card is on the post below this one... so you can make some too.. )I created the bottom white banner using a Martha corner punch, but used it a little pit differently... or creatively as one would say... another purple rose there to with a few leaves and a bow...
I love the richness of these colors together... so what do you think...
Well I had to use the other set of papers too.. Victoria bought these for me... and wouldn't let me pay her for them... so now I have to give back... somehow.. .as she will not take the money from me..
Oh well.. I will figure something out... right!!!
Here is the second card..
This card is entirely different... a lot lighter and brighter too... I made the orange huge flower from the sunflower spellbinder... and cut 3 small and 3 large ones to put one on top of the other..Then what to do... so I took the New Cuttlebug folder called Brocade Window and embossed a piece of white cardstock... and then cut it to the size I desired... wow... I love it.. .put a few leaves around the flower... and then a bow to sort of hide the cut... and a few light peace pearls on the corners..
Now for the stopper... I created a larger than normal lower panel than I usually do, but that is okay, as I love the paper... so I showed a lot of that... along with a label from the newest Cuttlebug Folder of labels... and added a few pieces of Spellbinder around it... and I was really happy with it..

Here is a close up of the top half of the card..
I love the way it turned out... it is light and pretty... perfect for whom I am sending it to..
Of course I am always doing more and more... well today I wanted to have a nice assortment of Easel cards to share with you.. because to me this is a very pretty card... I love them...
So I had to add one more card to the new ones...I used some K and Company paper for the back ground of this one...
I love this hydrangea paper... and so I used it for this one.. added a little of Martha... and some Spellbinder, but the focal point is the center.. where I used the newest Cuttlebug folder called Elegant Ellipse... which I love this one.. I have so many ideas of how I am going to use this one... I love it greatly... I am sure you will too..
I used the center on the bottom half of this easel.. I just love the elegance of this embossing folder...
Here is another view of the card... I love all the pearls that I put to frame it out too..Hope you enjoyed these three cards that were made for the Cuttlebug Challenge Inspiration #90.... And that you will join in on the fun and create one to enter into the challenge... thee are weekly prizes... so join on it...
You might win some more cuttlebug toys... we all need and love more toys... don't we???
See you there..
Now as I said, I love to make Easel cards... so I gathered up a few I have made over the past few months... and put them here for you to see... Not all have cuttlebug embossing on them... but a quite a few do... so sit back and enjoy some more cards..This one is called Brick wall.. love the technique... and I was in a mood to create with Asian influenced stamps... so this is what I created... I used my twinkling H20's to paint it... I also went onto to create about 10 more using this same card as an example for an Asian Fat Book Page... check out Art Between the Pages for more info...
I can't honestly remember which challenge I created this for ... but I loved the flowers... spring was just about ready to bloom in the south... I can remember that.. some places were having severe snow storms... but the birds were singing here.. so I made this spring card to help it along.. .
This card I made for my Mom... she is partially blind... with macular degeneration.. so I wanted to make a textured card for her...I also loved the Pussy Willow paper by K&Co... so I used that... along with the Bird punch by Martha... The birds are sitting along the top of the card... she could feel them that way...
The flowers are flowers from Pretties by Bonnie and of course painted with my Twinkling H20's... I also painted the lower section birds with them too.. .I used some spellbinders to create some of the paper laces...
The area that I wanted my mom to feel were the flowers in the scene... they are forsythia... and she use to have huge bushes of it in the house I grew up in... so I wanted her to feel them.. so I used stickles to over lay the color... she also felt the blue birds on the ground feeding... so it was a hit... she still has this card in a prime area for all to see.. .I love this one too..
Oh I guess there is no Number One card... as this one I love too.. .I will start with the background.. .I created it with Twinling H20's... adn the drew some flowers with a thin line black pen... then I added the Lotus by Spellbinders... and a few flowers fromPretties by Bonnie and a little tag with a special message... on the lower half of the card... I used some scrabell board letters to create the message of flower gardens... the time to plant is NOW... I added the little fence to keep the deer out of my flower garden...
LOL.. It didnt really work... they have eaten most of them.. .oh well..
From time to time, friends send me images that I HAVE to use... this was one.. I love her.. .and have no little girls in my life.. but sent her to a big girl in my life... so feminine and soft and alive.. I added some punched flowers that I made, along with a butterfly from a Marvvy punch.. Oh Martha had just come out with the Heart punch... so I had to put that into this card... of course... lvoe it on the Lattice border...She is sitting in front of the eyelet pendant... which is another favorite... I love a lot of my toys... as you can see... to me they will make or break a card...
Here's another image ...This card is called I am no quitter.. as the words say... I't stop eating chocolate, but I am no quitter... LOVE IT... so I love chocolate too.. only the good stuff... organic Green and Black is my favorite... the dark kind... yummmmm ... get it away from me...I used some K and Co paper on this card too..
Again, another K & co paper card... with a butterfly little girl... so precious... I added a background of cuttelbug to this one..and used the dotted swiss on the heart... love that folder... . and also used the large sunflower by Spellbinder to create the purple flower...This is a fun card with all the purple.. I love purples and don't use it as much as I would like to..
Another card using the spring time Pussy Willow paper by K and Co... I also used an embellishment by them... adn then created the rest of the card with a bird theme... the little row of birds along the top of the card... and I didn't have one the size I wanted so I created this little bird... which is also available at Pretties by Bonnie I usually love light colors but wanted to bring out the branches of this special paper... so I used a brown chiffon ribbon.. .love it..
I also used dotted swiss behind the bird...
I had so many birthdays in May and June... and one day I had a friend over ... Brenda, to play... and was making birthday cards... I created this card.. in front of her... and it was for her... SHE Loved it.. of course she didn't know it was for her until I gave it to her.. LOL.. it didn't matter ... she loved the saying and gave it to me for the card...Happy Birthday Brenda... again and again...
Violets... love them.. .a favorite flower.. of course the daisy is my very favorite... but I guess the violet is 2nd... love the color and the sweetness of the cuties...This was a fun card to create with all the spellbinders... adn the violets.. which are Pretties by Bonnie
I love the looks of this card... The little area on the bottom just finished it off to my total liking..

I needed some samples for a technique class and created a few cards so that they could see the backgrounds being used...
So this is the card... of many... but a resist class card... I also added a flower using pages from an old book...
The stopper in this card is simply the raised bottom of one sheet of card stock... it really needs alittle bit more... but it does work... buttons, and all kinds of things will act as a stopper..
Have fun with making a few of these cards... and get them into the Inspiration #90... you are a winner anyway... but hey.. you might get some new toys in the process...
Thanks for taking a look at all my Easel cards... and have a wonderful day...
See you soon... Love, light and Peace...Bonnie
