This week the challenge
Follow the technique as it's written in A Compendium of Curiosities 2 on page 58 (adding your own special flair, of course!), and clearly state that the technique comes from Tim's book.
So I thought about it for a while and then started to make my paper... I did it the way the book said to do it, but I cheated and added some Copper too... love it...
Generally when I make Patina paper I have a lot of trouble with it and always resort to adding things... LOL.. and I did this time too... I used an 8.5 X11 glossy sheet and I had enough to cover this box... I did paint the inside of the box... BLACK... and the reason for that was that I didn't want the paper to go all the way to the edges... I wanted it to look like an inlay of sorts... because the paper is torn, I had to use a black marker to go over the edges... I guess it will go into my box of Christmas presents for the coming year... the box is about 3 X 5 inches... and it has that lovely faucet knob on the top... love it... WOW... had fun with this...
As I was cleaning up, I had a few extra scraps of paper... and I do mean scraps... and so I used the flower die and cut me some flowers out of the scraps... and was going to put them on to the box... but I decided to make a tag instead...
So for the background of the tag, I stamped the leaves (which I made my own stamps for) using olive archival ink... and then clear embossed them... then took the dried up old felt with some alcohol solvent on it... and created the background!!! LOVE IT... wow.... a new thing to do... then I used my great gauze stamp... and did the edges...
I hand wrote the sayings...
JOY IS NOT IN THINGS.....
IT'S IN US!!!!
How very true is that...
So I put an extra little black flower behind the stacked patina ones... and then a brad... hammered the brad.. which felt good... and then was DONE!!!!
This box and tag is of course for the Studio L3 challenge... one of the necessary things to also make sure you do is to link to TIM'S site... as I have used all of the supplies that he lovingly creates...
Hope you have a wonderful day... and thanks so very much for stopping by for a visit... see you tomorrow... I hope...
Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Happy Birthday Tim Holtz
Grungy Monday challenge is all about Tim's Birthday... Happy Birthday Tim... I certainly do wish I could get onto Tim's Comments... but dial up and also the fact that I dont' have a Type pad account will not permit me to get on there... boo hoo... I would wish you a Happy Birthday in the comment section...
This card also fits into the Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge... something NEW and something OLD.... my something new is the die cut upon a time... with all these GREAT letters... and the something old is the corrugated box... it is over 10 years old... a very old piece of corrugated that I painted and kept over the years...
Anyway... hope you take a look at all the cards that will be made for YOU on this challenge... and then maybe you will see this card...
After having made all 12 Christmas tags I decided that maybe a birthday card tag would be a little too much... but I had to incorporate a FEW tags... hey... being king of TAGS... you have to get a few... right..????
Anyway... I started to build this card... and of course I had to use everything TIM HOLTZ.... so I used embossing folders, Distress inks, Blending tool with foam pads... Die cuts... rubber stamps... everything TIM....
Can you tell???
Happy Birthday TIM.... and many more to follow...
This step card is so very nice for a Birthday... as you can stand it up and it is all visible all the time... no falling over if someone walks by too fast... and so dimensional...
Hope you enjoy it TIM!!!
Birthdays are a time in your life when on that day you should have all positive things around you... and as many people to wish you the best...
So on the 7th we will all be thinking positive thoughts and sending you much love...
Thanks to all of you for helping in this... and thanks for stopping by... hope you have a Happy Birthday too... no matter when your day is...
Have a happy... and enjoy...
Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Christmas and recycling
This is for a FEW challenges... but first off I have to tell you about the title of this blog... This year we need to conserve our resources as much as possible... and need to give gifts with tons of meaning that are made by local people... so give a hair cut or a trip the beauty parlor, or how about a cleaning lady for a day... wow... I could really use that gift... know some of you would love it too... These are truly meaning gifts... and after all Christmas is a holiday of LOVE... not of monetary gift giving... so give a gift from the heart... or MAKE one...
Which brings me to the challenges .... I am making my grandson an Activity box for the year of 2012... and one of the pages is to tell about your Christmas... so these two items will be in that area of the activity box... When I am finished I hope to be able to share the whole box with you... but each section has a ton of year long activities for him to do... a beginning scrapbook/journaling experience at the age of 7... never too early to start... and he loves art and doing things... loves playing in my studio, that is for sure...
So here are some of the challenges...
Hels Sheridan at Ink on My Fingers... Christmas...
Simon Says Stamp and Show.... Recycle
Grungy Monday.... A Tim Holtz Technique... Christmas...
So combining all of these ... I made these two items...
This one is really for the Grungy Monday Challenge... and the technique is one that I have used often... with the exception that I always use just a sheet of acetate or a left over piece of plastic from packaging... LOL... my favorite thing... recycling...
So I now know that this product is available at Ranger... I will get some... as I love doing this...
The tag is really fun... and I used the Santa theme for this one... as that will be theme for the Activity sheet too for the Christmas area...
I used Tim's stamps, and also used some Grunge board letters... and used the glossy accent for the covering of the letters... I also used the new Winter colors ink on the background... love it... I think it is called Berry something.???? Not very good remembering names of colors or products... sorry about that... anyway... it is the red pad in the set!!! GREAT colors...
You will love them... GET them if you don't have them already... The green is lovely and the blue is a cool wintery blue... a must have for a person that loves colors... really a fantastic blue...
Okay... now for the other two challenges..
Simon Says Stamp and Show wants recycling.... YEAH...
And Ink on My Fingers... CHRISTMAS
This is sort of a shaker box tag!!! Is there such a thing...??? Well there is now... as I RECYCLED a plastic sheet from the package of Key Holes Ideology by Tim Holtz ... it has six really cute shapes on it... and the Graphic 45 stamps really fit into it nicely... so they went into it...
I then added chunky glitter, that I don't really use for glitter anymore...as it is way to thick... but perfect for a shaker box application... and I added that to each section... then I used glossy accent all around each of the individual areas and then placed black card stock over the areas... and then a little bit larger sheet of red card stock... just to trim it out...
I put the entire sheet of plastic onto the background paper... also by Graphic 45... lovely paper... and the whole area in his Activity box will be mainly Graphic 45 paper...
At the top... I added one of the embellishing tags and also a few jingle bells... and of course some red seam binding ribbon that I had added some Gold Twinkling H20's to... I love combining things... and also love this tag... I do hope that Riley does too...
Hope YOU do too... please leave a comment... I would love to know what you think of it... it was fun to do... and so very easy... I also will be keeping some plastic out of the land fill... hope you try this one out... they are a lot of fun...
I love making things... and so right now I am spending a lot of time on Riley's activity box... in fact I have spent over a week now... and will most likely spend the better part of this week too... it is really a fun project...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope that you have a wonderful fall day... and think about recycling something for Christmas and giving a gift of LOVE to all you give too...

Eternal Time
Is there such a thing as Eternal Time??? Anyway... that is what I named this... as I have a small tag hanging on the hanger that says... ETERNAL....
Time is a funny thing... we never seem to have enough of it... but when we miss someone there is too much time in our lives...
This tag is for two Challenges...
Simon Says Stamp and Show......where we are to
use a HOUSE.... or make a house...
The other Challenge is for Grungy Monday... and Linda wants us to do something with someone that we remember...
My Dad passed onto the next life in March of 2000.... so I do hope that he is a happy soul now...
so this tag is all about my DAD... who was a very proud and proper gentleman.
He and his parents moved into this house when he was a little boy... he had two older siblings that were much older than he was...
But basically this is the home he grew up in... He was a little spoiled to say the least... and did have a silver spoon in his mouth... as you can see his little sailors outfit... and every year they had a new car.... My grandfather insisted on it... of course my Grandmother NEVER drove... she was a proper lady... and ladies didn't drive... Glad I didn't live in those days... I would have gone stark raving mad...
My Dad always had a fascination of cars... and watches... time!!!
and he use to love to practice old English lettering with a fountain pen... and ink... beautiful handwriting for a man.
The house was built specially for my Grandfather... he wanted a large house so that the family would all come and stay... they did too... All of them... The house is still standing today, except my Grandfathers flag pole has been removed. He always put the flag up every day it was nice out... not in the rain... or snowy days... this house was in Upper Montclair NJ... which was not that far from NYC... but in the country at that time...
The trains ran into the city every couple of hours... and yet my grandfather always drove his car into work.
Okay... so on this tag, I used my new Jalopy die cut... and also my new weathered time die... I also used some ideology from Tim Holtz's line of goodies... of course I dyed my own seam binding... and used my dad's favorite color... YELLOW...
The background was made by cutting a die using a piece of plastic from the container that the die came in... and then using my blending tool and a distress ink pad to create the clocks in the background... I used Vintage Photo and Black soot.... Then I cut one from card stock and again using distress inks, colored the weathered clock with Weathered wood and Gathered Twigs.. Love that .. hope that Ranger does make some inks to reink the pad... I love those falls colors... the Winter ones arrive here today... so I am looking forward to using them... beautiful colors too...
I used a piece of paper from Conservancy paper by 7 Gypsies... and then all the ideology was put into place.. with much meaning...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope that you have a wonderful fall day... start working towards the holidays... they will be here before you know it... I am busy with presents.. and loving each and every minute of it too...
See you again soon... Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Fall has WINGS ! ! !
Oh fall doesn't really have wings... it is just that the challenges I am doing are requesting certain things and this is what they are...
Simon Says Stamp and Show... make something that has WINGS...
And Ink on my FINGERS... use the colors of BLUE and ORANGE.... so isn't that Fall has wings???
Of course it is...
So here are a few that I created with these themes in mind...
The Blue Fairy is what I named this tag... it is a blur fairy to me... LOL.. I started to play with the dress makers form... and then changed to the sewing die cut... I was going to use the dressmakers die as Hels is going to a Wendy Vecchi class... a safe trip across the Pond Hels... and have a blast at the classes and in the US... What fun you will have..
So the Challenge is to use Contrary colors... of BLUE AND ORANGE... what fun.. love it... I made a while bunch of tags the other night when i was having a AH HA moment... and playing with paints and getting inkie myself... so I think this background was done with ink on the worksheet and then spritzed with water... or it could have been spritzed with a mini mister... you never can tell around here... that is for sure...
The paper for the form was done in the same way, but then stamped and Distress picket fence added... along with other things like words and tissue tape ruffles... a few pearls ... and of course leaf wings... which is my own block print stamp... which i used Distress stains on to print... love doing that... the bottom ruffle was made from an old paper brown bag... and then really wrinkled and stained with Stormy Sky stain... love it... the ribbon... oh yes... my supply of ribbons is really getting low... I am going to have to make some soon... but I love this tag...
Flowers... I love FLOWERS...
So a tag with a flower is my kind of tag... the background is made with ink on my work sheet... and then water dribbled all over it... some writing... and then I used some gold paints for the leaves... how special for my two little bird friends... one is a Tim die... and the other a Spellbinder... love them both... that is why I have them both...
The center of the flower is blue pearls... and of course the blue ribbon mixed in with the ORANGE ribbon... died with one of my new fall ink pads... called Ripe Persimmon... (our persimmons are getting better every day... love the taste of them..so sweet)
This last tag for today...
Called the Last Butterfly of the Summer... oh so sad to see them trying to live a few more hours... or trying to fly away from the coldness of the changing seasons... but they will be back next year...
This is a tribute to all the beautiful ones that I have seen this year... so very many...
This butterfly is two fold... an orange layer and then a blue layer... The tag is made from 4 different "orange's hues and the blue only three different blue hues... but still blue and orange...
The tea bag wreath is a tile that I created and happen to love this particular tile... very very much...and it went perfect with this tag...
Hope that you enjoyed these tags... and remember the butterfly... along with all it's glory... it will return in the warmer months to say Hello again... Thanks for stopping by for a visit... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Halloween is almost here...
Halloween is almost here…
Spooky and full of color… lots of fun for children…
Costumes, trick or treaters… lots of fun is what I think of
when I think of Halloween…
So here are a few tags that are simple… for a fun time of
year…
The CROW… my favorite bird until this year… I still love
them… but hey they can really do some damage to a crop… they ate all my
watermelons… and all our corn… and then hopped in to destroy the beans and
pulled down sunflowers… bad birds… but they are the LAW of the bird colonies…
and are really majestic in many ways…
This tag was created with Distress ink pad rubbed on my
worksheet and then spritzed with water… and then I dribbled water over the top
in certain areas to create the ‘bleached’ affect… The leaves are stamped with a
gold liquid that I bought years ago… and it leaves a raised effect… also a
twinkling nice effect… I made the stamp from eraser rubber and created the
design myself… the bird’s paper was
created the same… but no spots… and then cut out with a Tim Die cut… the pin and token added for the Halloween theme.
Both of these tags are for the following two challenges... where on Grungy Monday you have to create something with Tim Holtz products and also a Halloween theme... Grungy Monday and the wings are are to be used for the
Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge.
This tag was created a little bit differently.. the Distress Ink pad was rubbed on the worksheet and then spritzed with water... allowed to dry and then embossed with the pumpkin embossing folder by Tim Holtz... Then I used his Tattered Leaf die cut to create the leaves... but I also used paper that I had created the same as the tag... and added some golds and silvers to the leaves, just for some added color... Fall is so wonderfully colorful in all ways... natures last yahoo to color until the white snow falls...
The Bats were added ... for the spookiness of the Halloween spirit...YEAH... The 31... well that is the night of all wonderment... and the numbers are made from what else... GRUNGE BOARD!!! Painted black and then embossed with vintage photo embossing powder... love it... The pumpkins are colored with inks from distress pads... and a brush... really gives them a nice soft look...
So there you have a couple of tags... I have a few more, but will spread them out in the next few days... thanks a lot of taking look today... and hope to see you tomorrow... have a nice day...

It's Raining ??? Not really
It’s Raining… what a wonderful thing it would be if it truly was raining… we need it really desperately…. We are officially in a drought… only having had 1.2 inches of rain in the month of July… for a farm that is horrible… anyway.. I will stop my ‘waffling’ and move on with my tag….
![]() |
| Wish it was raining!!! |
This tag is for a couple of challenges… the first one being Grungy Monday… the challenge was to use Distress Stickles… by Tim Holtz…. Oh yes… not a problem at all… I used them in the center of the Ornate plates… where I put a tiny flower and leaves that I made from some metal… and then filled in with the Distress Stickles… how pretty is that… ??? Love the look in real life… things seem to get lost on line… and also in a picture…
Oh well… so the other Challenge is for Simon Says Stamp andShow… and to use Glitter glitz… so I made the rain drops from rhinestones… and it is glittery…
The Tag is also a Ranger kraft brown tag… and it is so different to work on it… I distressed the edges… and colored with my Tim Holtz Distress stains… which I happen to LOVE…. Maybe even more than LOVE… is there such a thing…
I embossed the umbrella man and also the old timey car… and ran distress ink pads over them… and then spritzed the umbrella man with a mini mister that had some perfect pearls and distress ink it in… wow… I stamped words all around them… and then tore the edges and used the misc pieces all around the tag… Of course my seam binding ribbon was made when I cleaned up the mess on my table from spritzing the mini mister… what a perfect pair that is… a clean up cloth and ribbon all in one item… LOL… GREAT GOING….
So that is my tag… didnt know what I was going to do… and it is one of my favorite tags so far… okay… each time I make something it is my favorite for a while… are you like that??? I guess we all are???
Well have a great day… enjoy the day to the fullest… and have fun… thanks for stopping by for a visit… see you soon hopefully…

Mad Hatters Tea Party
Mad Hatters Tea Party
Today’s challenge on Altered Alice is to make a project using a tea cup… of some kind… so I started to think about what to create ….
The Mad Hatters Tea Party …. The picture was a black and white digital which I colored with water color pencils… oh I love this picture of the Mad Hatter… so crazy … anyway don’t you just love him… as wild as he is…
I used colors from the movie on his hat.. and his bow tie is just like him… wild plus… with a red vest…
Behind him, the haunted house and tree are Tim die cuts… love them too… using distress stains to color both… and then used ROCK CANDY on the tree so that I could also post this on the Grungy Monday Challenge for using ROCK CANDY…. Love it…
I won a fabulous sheet of stamps from Eclectic Paperie and have the words from these stamps on the very back of the scene… I love them…. I guess I just about love it all… anyway… I was working on another Alice project today and was collecting things and found these adorable tea cups and Tea pot charms… how cute are they… so they had to be used along with a little gold watch… wild!!!! Love it when things come together like this… A little ideology clip, and tag … and then some seam binding ribbon dyed with stains to match… and I was done…
Of course this also fits into Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge which is ANY THING GOES.... and this is a fun tag for that challenge too...

Now to get this posted!!!! I am having a lot of trouble with the internet these days… I am on the famous dial up... because AT&T will not bring the lines one more mile for the rest of us... so sad... the company with no heart at all... so I am hoping that I can get this up so that you can see it…
Have a nice day… thanks for stopping by for a visit and please come back for more art projects… I am working on them all the time…

Tags for my book
I finally got around to having a day when I could work on some personal tags... I have spent the last two weeks creating Fall, Halloween and Christmas tags for classes... I love them.. and they are very special to me... hope that others do too... I love to teach others what little I know... so that they can play more too...
Okay... so here is one of the tags I just created... it is for a few challenges...
Grungy Monday... to use Grunge board so I used the letters FLY...
Simon Says Stamp and Show ... to do some embossing... so I did a tag with an embossed bird cage using Distressed embossing powder...
Gingersnap challenge was to use a plane or train... so I used a picture of my Grandfather with his 'flying machine' ... he had my Mom in his arms here and also a flag for something that we are not totally sure what he was using it for... but the whole tag is all around flying... My Grandfather always use to tell me that when he got up in the air he could see all the little houses... and all the trees... so the background is trees .... along with butterflies (which are embossed with heavy duty Utee to create a thick look... )
The other little tag and the wording is from Just Rites Spread your wings cling stamps... I think that they are so cute... anyway.. the saying on the small tag and also on the large on is Spread your Wings and FLY....
I will use this tag to create a page for the scrapbook I am making on my mothers life... I love making these... Hope you enjoy them too...
It's very hot down here in the mountains today... but not as hot as some other places... I am staying cool... and enjoying myself creating... My hubby is out watering the garden... trying to save some of the plants that are suffering ... I make sure he takes lots of water out with him... and he always can cool off in the watering system if need be...
Stay cool... and enjoy...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... Love, Light and Peace.. Bonnie

Merry Christmas bird
Merry Christmas in July... what fun this is.. I have been working on some Christmas tags for the past few days here... so have been all into Christmas anyway... and I love it... especially on these super hot days... makes me think of winter and the cool days, and the possibility of snow and sometimes I actually feel cooler... oh well.. maybe a little tiny bit...
This week I have made this ornament for two challenges... one is for the GRUNGY MONDAY challenge... On this one we have to use GRUNGE Board... which is a favorite of Tim Holtz ... so this is also for Simon Says Stamp and Show which is to emboss something...
So I went over to my work table which is covered with all kinds of things for Christmas.. .and thought about what I could create... sitting there were also my newest Just Rite Stamps... oh what a pretties they are... So I started to stamp out a few of them.. and I embossed a few... colored them and totally enjoyed playing with them...
The grunge board was not a problem for me at all... as I use that in a lot of creations these days... so that was the easy part... I saw this cute little bird cage sitting all empty and decided to create something for the inside and outside of this.... Now of course I would need a little bird... not a problem...A little Grunge board... some Fired Red Distress ink and some tissue tape... all Tim's creations..my bird was done.. and ready to be hung inside the cage... something on the bottom of the cage... sheet music... that is just right...
Okay... now for the ornaments on the side... both from my newest stamps from Just Rite... a little embossing and coloring and a little Jingle Bells...
Christmas will be here before we know it... yikes...
I also wanted to share with you another Christmas item... a Tag from the collection that I am working on... I love this one... so very special...
I am going to be teaching a few classes at a local store with these Tags... so am getting everything ready for them... here is this special tag...
Of course the reason I chose this one, is that it also has embossing and grunge board on it... The wings, letters and fancy tag are all Grunge board... I added a little lace, and also some Perfect pearls to finish the look off...
I know that I will have fun teaching this one... as it is so much fun using all these fun toys...
Hope that you have a happy day and enjoy the summer-ness that is all around us...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... come back soon for more chit chat... and some paper fun... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

By the Sea
By the Sea in Florida … that is where my Mom grew up in her early years of life… Florida was the main residence and Maine the summertime residence… what a life she led.
This picture is with her Dad …. Check out the bathing suits… My Grandfather would not like the bathing suits of today at all… he thought that my bathing suits as a small girl were not right… they were rather ‘indecent’ and I was only 5 …. In the 1949’s… wow… would he ever flip…
Okay… this page was created with a lot of Tim Holtz techniques… hope you will check out Grungy Monday… as this is another technique… really a fun one…and also a challenge to try for your self... come on over and join in on the fun...
I used the main technique on my tag… and then used the multi colored and clear embossing on the large shell print… love it… the tag up close looks like sand… and that is what I was trying to get… so it is perfect for this…
I also made all the shells and other papers using distress inks with Perfect pearls in them… I am totally addicted to them… had my hubby build me a holder for 84 Mini misters… and they will all have different colors in them… yikes… am I spoiled or what!!!! I think I love this stuff… LOL…
Okay… so my shells, which are stamps by Inkadinkado and Zia were put onto the paper (as described above) and then I cut them out… The sand castle and shovel and pail are Spellbinders… the other shells… that match the stamp are Cuttlebugs…. And so is the shell embossing paper… which I also used distress inks on the edges of it…
I love this look… and the page really glimmers…I even painted the background paper with Twinkling H2o’s… just to give more seashore look. I know it doesn’t look it here… but in real life it is a wonderful glimmering sunny beach page!!!!
Hope you have a wonderful day… we are very very humid and again doing rain dances… My hubby picked okra, beans, kale, and cukes today… so guess what I am doing this afternoon.????
Enjoy what ever you are doing… I certainly will be…

Nature Love of birds
Happy Monday... Happy 4th of July... just a happy day... Our daughter and her family are arriving here tonight for a couple of days... and so we are happy that they will be with us..
I am going to take my grandson and make an altered book with him... he is turning 7 and so I thought it would be fun to make a book of his 6th year of life... trace his little hand for days in the future when it is big... I still have our kids little prints... in so many ways... but my favorite is that I quilted them... what a fun way to remember how tiny they were... Oh well.. there I go chatter again... so sorry... but that is so me...
Here is my tag for challenge ... I really had fun making this tag... I am suppose to be cleaning... but hey... my studio needed to be 'cleaned' too... right...???
So I made this yummmy flower from a wipe that I use in the studio... and then using Tim Holtz's Tattered floral die... cut it out... there must have been some glitter on the table too... as there is glitter all over this flower... and a little metallic gold mixed in too..
It is also for Grungy Monday .. using a technique that Tim totally explains... on this great technique lesson... love these things... thanks so much Linda for this great challenge page... I love it... and look forward to Mondays... even though it is called GRUNGY MONDAY.... I love it all.. and being grungy... isn't that part of making art... decorating the studio and yourself... ???
So this technique tells you how to take an ink... and turn it into wonderful sparkling inks... I my goodness what fun... I think I need another 200 mini misters... I love these...
I made up about 10 of them... and spritzed a lot of tags... and finally settled on a couple that I really loved for this project...
I took Sailboat blue and mixed in Sunflower perfect pearls... and then did the same with bottle... oh what fun... prior to spritzing them... I used white dabber to create a background of florals... from the same stamp set that the bird is from... and then I spritzed the tag... let it all dry ... and then started to stamp words, and gauze, and birds... You are missing the best part of this tag... as it totally glistens all over... love it...
There are of course a few other things that I love to do on this tag also... like the ribbon... oh Shelly... did you ever think that you would create a ribbon freak out of me??? I am totally addicted to this ribbon.. love all the colors, and mixing it all... and then keeping it a box that I can see all the colors so brightly shining out asking to be used... so I had to use two of my favorites on this tag... the ribbons also have flecks of gold on it... to match the shining of the over all tag...
I attached the word FIND... because we all need to help birds in so many ways... by keeping poisons out of the environment... no bug sprays, no insect sprays of any kind... this just hurts our pretty song birds... they all have a song... and we hear them all year long... just listen... they are wonderful... so find more love for the birds that live near and with you...
My little blue bird is made from a Tim Holtz die cut... and I used AC metal to cover chipboard... and then alcohol inks to color the bird... I want this little one a little textured... so I added some Weathered Blue Distress embossing powder to the top of the bird...
Now this bird is holding a new bead that I just made... it is made with fiber... and I love making them... also a little ultra thick Utee... wow love it... making some ore when I get a chance... the ribbon.. oh well had to use a little more of this great stuff...
So that is my tag... I will use it on a scrapbook page... and not really sure yet which page will get embellished with it... I do love the tag... and the delicate-ness of it... hope you enjoy all these challenges too... and have a great MONDAY... and a GREAT and SAFE 4th... have some watermelon... I made 1000's of watermelon balls this morning... and had to snack as I was doing it too... they will be so pretty in a watermelong bowl... with some mint leaves... delicious for a pre-diner treat...
Thanks for stopping by today... and please come back soon...

Love
Grungy Monday 13! A lucky day… a lucky challenge and just a lot of fun all the way around…
Okay before I get started I have to tell you that on Grungy Monday they asked that we watch a Video on Ranger site… well I had a problem with that… I have never been on You Tube… I have never watched a Video on my computer.. and have very limited experience with a lot of blogs… as I am this FAMOUS thing called DIAL UP…. Ugh!!!! Not a nice thing… but at least I am connected to ya’ll… we live a very remote area… rural as it is known… my neighbor calls it Podunk… I call it Paradise … except when I can’t see some things on my computer… LOL…
Oh well the pity party is over… on with my project for today…
I looked at what the other WONDERFUL pages were on the challenge and decided that a nice couple of pages done with my alcohol inks would be a fun thing… Of course they are Adirondack Inks… I only have them… my studio is "a la Ranger/Tim Holtz"… so I think that explains that… LOL.. I love it all..and almost have it all... yikes... I am obsessed... and it is a great feeling...
That is why I love doing all these challenges that are associated with Tim as I can use all my supplies and have fun... which this site Grungy Monday is... so please take a look and join in on the fun...

So I made a ‘couple’ of pages… (truth be known… I got carried away and made quite a few… ) ( I also have to tell you that while I was doing all this, I was processing another bushel basket of green beans for the dehydrator and getting other things done… as my time today was short… very short for playing in the studio… but this was important too… )
I do ramble on… but that is just my nature…
Here is the page…
I chose a few of the papers I had create with my alcohol inks… and the stamped on a few… chose the two I really liked… one stamped and one ‘plain’ for the background… I used a few colors on the background one… along with GOLD… had to have the gold on there…
This page is 8.5 x 8.5 .... nice size, small enough to handle and large enough for me to get everything on there...

Then I made my page… I used some of my Seam Binding tape… Love using that stuff… and today I got three more rolls in the mail… yahoo…. Fun and games when I have more time…
I added a little Ideology too… like a hanger for the ticket of LOVE… also the little slides are surrounded by the slide die template…( all the little pictures are also of my Mom when she was only a small child… ) and then I covered it all with a sheet of plastic from a package… so it really feels like film… love the realness of that..
I made my flowers… and then for the picture… I used another piece of my alcohol paper for the background… and then using a very heavy Vellum that Marie gave me, I cut it out with a Cuttlebug embossing folder… Oh I used some Micro pearls on the ribbon area.. as my Nana always use to wear pearls.. so they are for her…
This picture was taken about 90 years ago… as my Mom is now 91.5… and does look a little different now… as a matter of fact she looks a lot like her Mom now…
Well hope you will check out Grungy Monday and join in on the fun… Thanks for taking a look at my blog today… and hope that you will come back again soon.. Please don’t forget to take a scroll down and look at the wedding book and also the toy book I made for my Mom… with some of the other pictures that she just sent to me… I am really having fun with them…
Have a creative and happy day…
Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie
