Winter is here... and the colors that we will be using will all change... so I used Iced Spruce which I have been loving every time I have used it... a very winter color...
This tag is using one of the Techniques that Tim used... cutting something out... and then using crackle on it... and then putting a background paper and using Glossy Accent in the space... ( which is where the words Winter Wishes is..) I also did a reverse embossing... and then used
the snowflake die cut on the side...
I used the Spellbinder ornament... and then an old Cuttlebug die for the words...
A little silver tinsel cording on the ornament to decorate it up a little... and then I added a canvas snowflake...
I love all the different textures on this tag... they are all do very different...
Hope winter wishes are coming your way... and that you have a wonderful time no matter what the weather...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and I will see you tomorrow...
Have fun until then... Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Snow Angel
Snow Angel is tag #12 of Tims 12 tags of Christmas... and I wanted to create this tag for Inspiration Emporium's challenge too...
So here it is... I had made a house that sort of combined the two new techniques in it... but wanted to do all 12 tags too...
So I started out with a white tag and stamped using a new Tim Stamp set... Joyful Song... I love the angel and the markings... or words and numbers... and that is what I used... then I used the Tissue paper... love that stuff... if you haven't tried it... it is a MUST... love using it... I put the paper on with glue and seal... and it was dry really quick.... meanwhile I put some dabber snow white onto the snowflakes that I cut out ... as I really loved that look that Tim got in Tag #4.... so I put the dabber and also the picket Fence Distress Stickles on it... hope it will dry soon... it is still wet... !!!
I made the tree using a piece of white card stock... and used my ICED SPRUCE to color it... and then used Forest moss Distress stain on an Impression Obsession 6x6 stamp with the pine boughs... love that stamp.. and I have used it a lot lately...
Then I cut an elongated triangle out... and then used Forest Moss Distress Stickles on the edges of the tree...
Okay... a confession to you who watch my blog and don't really know me... I love to use silver at times... but to find the metal sheets, or paper... too costly for me... so I but a roll of silver tape at Home Depot or Lowes and use it... apply it to a piece of cardstock... and then run it thru the die cuts I desire... DO NOT USE PUNCHES though... it will ruin them... once and for all..
Anyway... I made my letters, my flourishes, and then found a piece of silver lace in my bins... have no idea where that came from... never saw it prior to today!!! Anyway... put that and some dyed seam binding on the bottom... and then layered all that you see here...
I made my tissue flower with a piece of scrap tissue that was left over from the tag background... and then also added a snowflake and some hat pins... a little bow and was done...
What do you think... snow angel or not...??? I think she is very vintage... but really like her as doll with a little bit of something on her... like some seam binding... my dolls never looked like her... but they could have...
Thanks for taking a look see... and also for stopping by... hope you are enjoying my Christmas tags every morning at 8:00... I have a new one every morning until Christmas... so enjoy them... each one a little different and over a total of 27 different techniques... I am addicted to making tags... !!!
Have a fun day... I am going to be working on a couple of journals and some other things... more things to get done...
See you later... Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Deer Love
On our farm we try and do things as much WITH nature as possible... but sometimes the critters really dont' give us any space... this year we had a lot of damage of the crops from the deer... since we are an organic/biodynamic farm... we use all kinds of things... from plastic bags to music... to soap and then even try a few deer hunters in the fall of the year... but when deer season is all over, I am sad to see the families of deer all spooked and shaken up... so this tag is a tribute to them.... also to the holly trees that grow on our farm... we have one that is over 60 feet tall... the mother of a lot of baby holly trees all over the area... Okay.. this is also a Tim Holtz Tag.... from the 12 Tags of Christmas... as I didn't get to actually do this tag and I wanted to... I did make the holly for a house I built... if you scroll down you will see it... This tag is like Tim's #11 tag...
I am also putting this tag on Inspiration Emporium...as part of their challenge they require you make ALL the Tim Tags... so I didn't do this one exactly... so now I have...
I started off with a manila tag... and used Iced Spruce on it.. directly from the ink pad... then I used some picket fence Distress stain on it... and THEN some Perfect Pearl Mist... biscotti!!!! Love it... and then I dribbled water on it... to create the spots...
Down on the bottom, I put some Tissue tape and also a piece of scrap paper... the deer needed something to stand on...
I made my deer with some glossy paper and alcohol inks on a blending tool.... creating the multi colored brown deer... then I cut him out..
I used some Ransom Idea-ology letters for the word LOVE... and then went to town on making my holly leaves... I used shrink plastic... and then used my alcohol inks on them to color them... I love the way some of the leaves really curled to make them look really REAL... like they are in Nature..
I used some pearls for the red berries... although our tall tree is a
male with no berries... I wanted to still recognize this special tree...
Thanks for taking a look at this tag and for visiting my blog... I do hope that you will take a look also at all the wonderful tags on Inspiration Emporium... there are some that are really wild..
Hope you have a wonderful holiday season... and enjoy all the love that is going around...

Happy Holiday Houses
Christmas time is always a fun filled time around here… I
love to make all kinds of presents… as that to us is truly the only way to give… from the heart…. And hands…
So I still have a few presents to finish up… and have been
working on them diligently everyday… and
might have them done sometime soon… hopefully anyway… only have a few weeks now… ugh…
Well these are a few of the things I have been working on… I
have making all of the tags on Tim’s 12 tags of Christmas… so when I spread
them all out… and added my own Tags… I had quite a few… over 50… so I decided
to share them…
And now what to put them into????
Oh wow… I had all these cute little houses … and they would
be perfect to hold about 10 or so… PERFECT… just have to decorate them…
So the process started…
I worked on them… and was sort of happy… but then I thought about the
tag that I hadn’t’ done on Sunday… and then the one this morning… and that is
the way that the houses were finished up…
![]() |
| Holly leaves |
On this house I was able to add the holly leaves in the
front center… They are made with the Shrink Plastic film... and then colored with the Alcohol inks... a little bow... and wow... so very pretty... love them on the front of the house
and I used the tissue
which I love and made some flowers… a
shrub and decorated the tree with some more flowers and some pearls… LOVE IT…. Fun
stuff to work with… I even covered an
entire little house with it.. but have to finish that one yet… Still in a quandary over the embellishments… always a process for me.. what style etc… ![]() |
| My Shrub from tissue paper |
Another houses.... decorated entirely different... as it is for a different person... and they are very traditional in all ways... nothing out of the normal red and green for Christmas....
Anyway… these houses are 7 inches tall… and about 8 inches
wide… just the right size to hold my tags…
I have about 10 in each house!!!!
Now for another three houses and I will be happy… a HOME for
all my Christmas tags… what a fun way to
share them…
I hope that you enjoy seeing these houses… and that they
inspire you to create something today… I have just about tired myself out
already… as I really am tired from making these…. LOL… BUT… I still have enough energy to go pack up
a few boxes and get them mailed for the holidays… gotta keep on going…
These houses are also for the Challenge this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show.... it is for DEPTH!!! How special is that... I love doing these fun challenges... and theirs is always GREAT...hope you take a look at all the special projects and art going on there... really some FUNTASTICAL things...

but check it out…
Thanks Shelly for telling me about this site… I love it…
will be going there often… that is for
sure… my kind of site…

Santa Dear
I think this is the last tag of the day... I am really tired now... yikes... but so very much fun...
The back ground is an Impression Obsession 6x6 stamp... and then I used some Distress inks and blending tool to go around the edges... used Gathered Twigs and The new Red one??? Can't remember the name of it... love it though...
I also used it on the SANTA banner... that I cut from an old book...
The bottom of the tag is a Martha Stewart punch... and then the tree is of course a Tim die cut... I used some Liquid pearls on the branches... and then some distress Picket Fence stickles also... and of course two different sizes of pearls in two different colors...
The tag is backed in foil...
I hung the rusty star on a tiny aged mahogany seam binding bow... and called it a DAY..... Been making tags and entertaining people all day long... since 5 this morning... yikes... I am more tired than I thought...
Have a fun evening... off to put my feet up and relax...
Talk to ya'll tomorrow...

Reindeer Joy
Another Tag for Tim's 12 tags of Christmas... Loved making these tags with the charms...
This one I make a tag type of thing at the bottom...
I used a Just Right stamp to create the Joy area...
The background of the tag was made with Impression Obsession stamps...
Here is the bottom area... I made the paper behind the Just Rite Tag with Impression Obsession 6x6 stamps... love playing with them... so very much fun... have you tried them yet???
I have had friends stop in off and on all day long today... and have totally enjoyed my day...
Have one more tag to finish... and then going to enjoy a nice dinner that my Hubby is making for me...
One more tag to go....

DREAM
When I was a little girl I would hang up my stocking hoping that Santa would fill it with wonderful surprises... oh what a fun time that was... all magical and filled with wonderful memories.... so I wanted to re-create that feeling...
I used my DREAM die cut and cut into the tag.... and then I started to ink my tag with all kinds of things... first off was the Impression Obsession 6x6 pine bough stamp... love that one... I used.... what else... Iced Spruce!!! Love that too.... and then using Gathered Twigs I went around the edges with a blending tool.... I distressed the edges and then used some more gathered twigs distress ink to create a little bit darker look... I spritzed using Biscotti Perfect Pearls mist... and then I used my heat tool to set it...
Then using a Tim Holtz stamp I stamped the snowflake... again using Iced Spruce... and then Clear Embossing Powder... I meant to say that the large goldish 'spot' below the charm... that I did when I cleaned up the work sheet after spraying my mist... it is really pretty in real life.... LOL... Love it... just balances everything... sometimes I just can't leave some of these wonderful things on my work sheet...
So now I worked on the word DREAM... I used some Distress stain... on my FINGER.... Pumice Stone, Black Soot and also Walnut stain... then I used a gold pen and went around the letters... just to bring the letters out...
Then I created the Shaker Box behind it... and added PINK STAR GLITTER.... it has to be ancient... as I bought it in the 90's... early 90's... almost antique value right???
You can see the pink stars in this picture... I love it... so delicate and pretty...
I added some Seam Binding... some dyed with Victorian Velvet Reinker... and some with Aged Mahogany reinker... a little Martha Stewart border of Holly... and then some Bazzill trim...
The Charm .... a favorite vintage clip art picture... it so reminds me of that special time on Christmas eve... going to bed... Night Mom and Dad... and the answer would be that when I woke up in the morning, Santa would have been there...
I didn't have a sister... but I had a brother 5 years younger than me... but this picture was just so typical of that night.. I adhered it to the Idea-ology charm... and then trimmed it off... I usually get the picture way too transparent when I do that tape thing... and I wanted this picture to be BOLD... even bolder than it is... but I had to do with this...
Way down on the bottom of the tag I added the third bow... and some bells... how cute are they...
I love this tag... and now I have 5 more charms that I have to make tags for... which is great... as I am going to be playing all day today... as it is my Birthday and I decided that is what I really want to do today... Husband will be cooking and pampering me 100%... Have to love it all... right???
Hope you have a wonderful day too... and pamper yourself too...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Lit up for Christmas
Happy Friday … I have to be a little bit different… everyone
is always saying Happy Monday… or happy that day… but HAPPY Friday!!!! It is a wonderfully sunny day here in Western NC… and the sky is really blue… love these kinds of
pretty days…
Tim’s tag today was really wonderful… and so are Mr and Mrs
Stamp Anonymous… Love them all… and it was a tough call… as to which
one to follow along with …
Tim’s background I had done… so that was out… and I didn’t
have the candle stick… so it was between the other two… Birds… hmmmmm well…. I went with the street
light as I hadn’t used that one yet… and I was really wanting to… also the
background was so very interesting to me.. I love a free flowing background…
and really enjoyed creating my own for this tag… Each one was created a little bit differently…
One thing I have to say is that when you buy a die cut plate…
you are also buying a stamp and a stencil… using a piece of fun foam… you cut
your own stamp… and then using plastic you cut a stencil…. So I always cut out
both the first time I use a die cut plate…
so now I had my holly ready to go… and mounted on a little piece of
plastic ready to be used… I also cut the lamp post out.. but didn’t mount it…
as I used it freely as a shadow stamp… so much easier without it being mounted…
I also had bought a roll of tissue from Direct Market… and I
love it… it is a HUGE ROLL…. 25 feet long… of sheet music.. so you will be
seeing a lot of that on my projects now…
I do love music with my work… in all ways..
JOY
I really did enjoy making these tags... that is why there are three of them... the backgrounds kept me going... and even though I am only showing you three there are more... LOL...
I used my little holly stamp that i made from the die cut... and a few of the distress stains and decorated the edges of a few tags...
A little of this and that also... like a little words... and then some sheet music... (tissue paper) and then our course each tag has the light post... which I put a little bit of tissue paper behind the light area and colored with markers...
My Holly leaves on all them are about the same too.. some with distress stains... some with Glassine kraft paper that was distress stained too... and even some all black leaves as a shadow...
LOVESome have tiny bells, gold or red... and some have pearls.
Plaid ribbon or seam binding... and also some of the black plastic letters to write a message... love those letters... they are great....
Okay... this one I used a 6x6 Impression Obsession Pine Bough stamp... and then also the another one... called scratch... love playing with those stamps...
Also used some Icey Spruce ink too... love that stuff too...
You can see the background here a little better...
Having fun is the best part of it all..
I also used a glitter on most of the areas where I wanted snow... but this one I used picket fence Distress stickles... LOL... never can tell what is going to create a snow storm... can you...
I love all the tags for one reason or another ... but this one has more of things I really love on it... the balance is the one thing that I love the best of all the tags... but this one is my favorite... as we all say.. for TODAY....
The light even looks lit.... wow... and the snow is really falling on the leaves... actually the glitter container fell as I was putting it away and it created most of the way it looks... LOL... love it anyway...
Don't you just love the sheet music???? I love it..
Great Stuff.. you can use as little or as much as you desire...
Well.. what do you think... ??? Are you going to try this tag...??? It is really a fun tag to create... Easy as pie...
This tag also appears on Inspiration Emporium… so please
take a few minutes and check out all the WONDERFUL tags there… they look so
different and I personally think there are some there that are not on Tim’s …
but check it out…
Thanks Shelly for telling me about this site… I love it…
will be going there often… that is for
sure… my kind of site…
Hope that you have a fun day no matter what you get into... and that you enjoyed your stay here... Thanks so very much for stopping by for a visit...

Steampunk Love Letters
When people get older, they think of different things than the younger set does... so yesterday my mother was talking about Pearl Harbor day.... she remembers it only too well... and we got to talking about the love letters that she has from my Dad... I asked her to send them to me for a Christmas present... as I would love to have them... So along with these feelings... Tim makes a Steampunk tag today... so of course I had to drag out all the steampunk stuff... and my feelings sort of got jammed all together.. so this is what happened...
I did use a really nice stamp... LETTERS ... and using the white dabber I created the base for my art tag.... then I stamped my girl from an advertisement...and cut her out very carefully... and also the tag in the lower left corner... inked and distressed them both...
I took some lace and put some green seam binding thru it... and then started to work on a few other items... like the small mannequin in the upper right corner... I cut that... from a Tim Die cut... and then roughted up the edges... and added a vintage label to it... and a little distress inks... just enough left on the pads to do enough damage... LOL
Note: When I start to take pictures... I generally use a black mat board... but today when I started to work on the photos I felt they were a little too dark... so I took another set of pictures with the crocheted cloth my great aunt made over 70 years ago... I guess that is a little vintage???? right???
Anyway... that is why I have a couple of pictures that are sort of the same... I wanted you to see the difference...
Okay... so I had to take a closeup of this pretty flower... I love it... it is from Tim's idea-ology collection... and it is from the foliage set... I used some Raisin Alcohol inks on it... and then added the leaves... which I used a couple of greens on... I think it was citrus and oregano... ??? anyway... I also bent the petals and made into a Christmas Poinsettia flower... in all metal... love it... it nips at the waist... and with the touch of lace I just love it... WOW...
I took a piece of film and melted the center for the top of the tag... and also created a nice pin to hold the light bulb....
My letters were colored in Brushed sage... which is one of the colors I used in the background... the other color... what else... Victorian Velvet.... I had to use that ... it is my favorite color ...I used my glossy accents over the letters to give a very nice finished look. I had just received a bunch of silver wings... so I grabbed a couple and added them to this sweetheart... who is an angel in many ways...
I also added a label and bead to a vial for the bottom charm... a little wire and it was a charm...
The rusted star... was sanded and some raisin alcohol ink added... and the pin... well love safety pins... so I added a little spool with some quilting thread and called it even...
The pen nib is for my Dad who wrote all those love letters to me Mom... I had just been born... and he was missing us both... Love you Dad... (passed in 2000)
So that is my tag for the day... but I do not stop there... OH NO....
I wanted to share with you some of the watches that I have created... I am unable to watch Tim's Video, (dial up does limit me somewhat as to what I see.... so hopefully I will be able to see it some time soon..)
This one I added some tiny white paper flowers to... and also a tiny dragonfly charm.... which I did color again with my alcohol inks...
I think my grandson will get a kick out of this one...
His name is in there... along with a little gingerbread boy... and some jingle bells...
and of course all the snow...
Have to keep on going... a watch for
COOKIE WATCH... .do you remember when you were a kid and your mom would bake all those wonderful cookies for the holidays... well this is a memory for me... I also kept it going with our kids... use to make 30 different kinds of cookies and give platters to neighbors and friends... of course the kids had to try them all out to make sure they were okay for giving away.. LOL... Our daughter still says that when she tries something... so funny how some things stick... So I guess you could say I love making these too.. I have made a couple more... and love making them... putting them into Configuration boxes is a must too... try one... they are addictive... so buy a couple...
Hope that you have a wonderful day... stay busy and out of trouble... and be creative... it is sunny and nice in Western North Carolina today... have to go out and sit for a while... enjoy the weather...
Thanks for stopping by ... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

This tag also appears on Inspiration Emporium… so please
take a few minutes and check out all the WONDERFUL tags there… they look so
different and I personally think there are some there that are not on Tim’s …

Merry Holly
Well today... another pretty tag to make... wow... one right after the next... this one was a lot of fun to make.. I got all the pieces made... and then put it all together... it was FUN!!!
I do hope that you have tried to make them all.. there is so much to do and learn... try it if you haven't already...
I didn't have all the things that Tim used... but that is the fun part of this... using things that we already have... creating from that point...
I used a Just Right stamp for the back ground of Merry Christmas... and then used Impression Obsession on the background... have you used any of the new 6x6 stamps... love them... and then also the color box ink pads... loaded with ink to give you the MAX on your print... love them... My background though did get a little too dark for the look I really wanted... so I toned it down to where I desired it... and I could do that with my Picket Fence Distress stain... how did we ever live with that stuff..??? I use it all the time on things that I could never have thought that I would be able to correct something... LOL... now I just keep on going!!!!
For my arrangement I went along pretty much with Tim's directions... but I don't think the intensity of my alcohol inks were dark enough... I should have used more... maybe I picked up the diluted piece... when I do something like this... ink Glassine paper... I always do a couple... always fun to use later on another project.. so I might have picked up the wrong sheet... I did use the picket fence distress stickles on the branches... but will most likely use something a little whiter later to bring the white color up a little...
I used lace, a piece of gold mesh... and some yarn that is a 'glittery' in nature... my pearls to dye were fun... but I do that kind of thing all the time... and I do save my little bags CLOSED so that I might not have to use more ink... which today I didn't.. I had dyed something yesterday so that was good... every little bit helps...
Hope you can play with making this tag today... it was fun.. thanks for stopping by for a visit... I love it when you do... See you tomorrow with #8... only 4 more to go... I could keep on doing this for a lot longer... LOL.. Love it..
Have a fun day...

Brrrr
On the 6th Day of December Tim created a quite different tag... lots of color and vigor... a wonderfully colored tag...
I didn't have that particular embossing folder... so I decided to go with an entirly different look...
I didn't have the foil paper... but I sort of make my own... I found this really wonderful roll of silver tape in my husbands area of the garage... and it is called Heating and Air Cond tape... for air ducks... LOL... so I sort of swipped the first couple... but now I have my own... in a couple of different widths... you can buy a huge roll for around $20.00... lasts forever and ever... almost 3"wide... anyway... I put that on a tag and trimmed off the excess cardstock... then I ran it thru the embossing folder (cuttlebug snowflake one... ) and then using a blue dabber (acrylic paints) I colored the tag... when the paint was dry, I lightly sanded it... to bring the snowflakes out... and all silver for the most part..
I used a snowflake embossing folder... and then I used a blue
As you can see in this picture a little better...
This was an easy tag, once I had decided what I was going to do... I then cut 4 snowflakes out using Spellbinder die cuts...
The bottom layer is white card stock... the next was a scrap of paper that I had stamped.. I liked the blue... even though it was a paisley design it was perfect...then I took a piece of paper I had painted with Twinkling h20's... and cut that out.... then another white snowflake. I popped some... and glued others... and finally put on the idea-ology snowflake... which I had colored with picket fence alcohol ink.. and sanded that too...
I wanted it to be a real snowstorm... just like the ones we use to have up in the north east... (now in the south... a lot warmer... ) so I added some Quilled snowflakes... texture and layers is the look I wanted...
Using a small die cut from Cuttlebug, I cut the work BRRRR out... and then put glitter all over it... and ran thru the xyron and put that on the tag... a little seam binding... and I was done...
I have a sweater on now...but the day is overcast anyway... LOL... it is a chilly tag... glad I am not experiencing snow...
Hope you have a creative day... a happy one too.... see you soon... and thanks for stopping by... hope you will go to Tim's blog and see some of the other peoples tags... there are some wonderful ones there... tons of them... we are a prolific world...
