A Little Birdy told me to make this!!

Spring is here one minute and then winter blows in for a few days... so I thought I had better help the little birds a little bit and build this house... so My friend Sande and I spent a Sunday morning making this one...  I love it...
I had to add a few things over the past week or so... and it might still get a few additions yet??? You never know...

Anyway... this one has book inside of it... I will show you that later.... maybe tomorrow I can get it up on line... there are a lot of pictures... and each picture takes me about 10 minutes to up load...
Dial up is so wonderful... I am trying to be POSITIVE about this situation...
I put ribbon braiding around the little opening... and I think I need a bird for the perch too... but I will find the right one someday...

A little bit closer look at the braiding... I love doing this butterfly stitich... so very elegant and pretty... and not that difficult...  If I had the ability to video and get it up on line, I would show you... it is not hard to do...

Thanks to another good Friend... Victoria, who brought this bird to me just at the right time... I colored it baby blue for the blue bird of happiness...  and then added tons of flowers under him on the roof...  I used all kinds of flowers... some from baby wipes, old silk flowers, paper flowers, you name it... they are on there...

Is this bird perfect of what... ??? I love it...

So happy on the roof too... maybe someday it will throw the book out and and nest inside the house!!!!

On the other side of the roof...
Speaking of the roof... lift it off and you see the book!!!

The inside of the house is lined too... and the pattern for this house I made too... I used 6x6 papers... and they are from a few different pads and kinds of paper...  one is Prima and then also My Minds EYE...

So hope that you make your spring arrive a little bit faster and build a house for your birds.. LOL... it is coming here soon.. the daffodils have been up for over two weeks now... and they are so pretty... also very weird that they are up this early!!!

Thanks for stopping by... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Enjoy Life's Simple Moments

Enjoy Life’s Simple Moments
Do you do this?? I am trying, but sometimes life seems so complicated and busy that I am not sure which end is suppose to go into which direction… LOL… do you ever had days like that????

Well I seem to be having a lot of them lately.. .but that is okay as I try and come into the studio and play and create a few cards ….

So this card came together really in a very different way… about a week ago I get quite a few sets of Just Rites… and decided to take the quiet afternoon and just make medallions… using all the new stamps… I had so very much fun.. and came up with 20 some odd medallions (the center part of the card) and put them all into a box to use as I needed them… and then the fun starts…

I also of course had the Just Rite Challenge in mind and thought I would be prepared a little bit in advance… and then when I saw that we had to make a flower… I was in my GLORY… I love to make flowers…

So I made some flowers…  and started to put together some cards…

Makes good common sense… right???

Well the flowers are so very much fun to make.. I love making them… and love the way that they turn out… really fun…  pulled some paper out that would tie the whole card together … and voila’ have a new card… one that will go to a friend… who is always sending me wonderful cards and ideas… Thanks, I really appreciate it…  and you know who you are…

The butterfly… made from a layered sticker… and copper mesh… love the different textures of this type of card… paper, satin ribbon braid, copper mesh, paper flower made with sparkling paints, punched paper… all different textures…

Hope you will play today… create a card… send it to a friend and have tons of fun while making it… she will know that when she receives it… believe me she will…

Have a wonderful day… and enjoy… thanks for stopping by and hope you will come back again tomorrow ….

Violet Bouquet

Violet Bouquet… I use to love to pick my Mom a bouquet of little tiny violets when I was little… the stems were only a couple of inches long… and she never had the right size vase to put these tiny little beauties in …. But they were so pretty and always looking up at you when you walked by them…

So this card is to bring that memory back into my life… The stamps are by Just Rite… and I colored them with my markers… and then used some Spellbinders to create the medallion for my violets to sit on…

The background paper is cut into triangles… and then I used a Martha Stewart punch along the seam… and I punched it twice… once in green and once in lavender… so that I could cut the flowers off and put them onto the vine… a little liquid pearls by Ranger… and then flower border was completed…

A few pearls in the corner… and a bow… and this memory was completed… a bouquet of violet…

Have a fun day… and make sure you have special vases for special flowers that are in your yard… so that when picked you have the right vase for the pretties around you… love it…

Circle of Sweet Peas

The circle of Sweet peas is just so simple and delicate… I stamped them from a Just Rite set… and then cut them out… a very tedious thing… but loved the look after I got them all cut out… and then I put them onto this really cute circle from Spellbinders…  so sweet and delicate… the whole thing… so now what…

Okay… I took an embossing folder by Cuttlebug called Lace Window… and mounted that onto some light lavender paper… and then made the braid using the butterfly stitch for the center of the window…  I put bows on each corner… Love the whole card… very easy to make a pretty card like this with some really simple things… that make everything look very complicated… but the whole card was very very simple to make…

Enjoy making a card NOW… and every one that do make.. no matter how a card turns out… enjoy the process of it… or else add more or something to it that you do enjoy… what fun…   Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Just For YOU ! ! !

Just for You!!!

In yellows and greens… Love it.. I used some of the new stamps from Just Rite… and created background… and then the medallion also.. I used the Olive Archival Ink by Ranger… which I love these inks… and then I used Twinkling H20’s on the flowers… which are Pretties by Bonnie

Then I punched the white background using a water lily punch by Blue Hill…. The heart filigree is a punch by Martha … THEN I added the yellow braid… love to make them… so elegant for a card…

Thanks for stopping by and hope that you have a fabulous day playing and having fun.. Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Kindness all the time!!!

Sow Seeds of Kindness each DAY….
YEAH!!!!
My feelings 100%... so many times we forget that what we give out, we get back… and generally two fold… and this is true of positive as well as negative… so sowing seeds of Kindness… wow… you really get it back…
The Stamp... by Just Rite

I really have to try this one with this pretty turquoise printed paper… and then used this delicate blue braid with it… and then used the striped paper for the back ground… Of course I had to use my Blue Hill punch (lotus) for the ‘doily’ effect…

I used pearls and gem stones for accents on this card… and tiny bows only… trying to keep it delicate… and Gold pen on the edges ...

I do so hope that you have a Kind loving day… and that you totally enjoy yourself…. Thanks for stopping by for a visit… Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Pink and Brown DOT

Live More, Laugh often, Love MUCH… love this saying… so very true in all ways… Just Rite has this cute little stamp and many more… take a look at their stamps…

On this card, I have used a lot of fun things… had to use some polka dotted paper that I recently bought… love polka dotted papers.. in fact so much so that I have an entire folder of just polka dot paper…   this one is by  Bo Bunny and the pink is so very sweet… and the brown great too…  Then I used a solid brown to use the Martha Stewart punches on… to create the ‘doily’ effect…  Carrying thru that theme… I create the back ground for the braid with a Lacey  Circle  Spellbinder… and then an oval beaded with off white pearls all the way around that…

The FLOWERS… oh you know that they are Pretties by Bonnie… two layers and then a light brown pearl in the center of each one…

The leaves are BLACK…. As I wanted them to STAND  OUT… I think that they do too…

A double tied bow… and finished…

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful sunny day…

A special Valentine card

I know that you all have made a really special card for someone in your life... well the other day I really got involved in this braiding and I thought how pretty this would be in a tri fold card... so I started to create one... This is not a small card... in fact it is about 3/4 of an inch
thick!!!!  and it is 8.5 tall  by  5.5 wide... a huge card... but so filled with all kinds of fun loving things... how could it be small..????

Okay... I have to do this generally all white... with the color way on the inside!!!!

The cover of the card... on the right...
Has a Martha Stewart heart border... and then a Lace door layer (by Cuttlebug Embossing plus folder)  and then a heart from he Loves me Embossing plus folder...

Down at the bottom a layer of Grand Lace by Spellbinder... and a little satin bow...

When you open the card...

You see this section next....

The inside on the left is another layer of Heart border by Martha's punches... and then a layer of He loves me... by Cuttlebug... and a little bird flying across the page... and again the Spellbinder grand lace at the bottome with a little stain bow...

Large pearls accent the lower corners...

On the other page, you will again see the heart... which has a white stain braided heart around it... Oh how I love this... I added some pearls to it also... you will see a close up of this later on....
I took two dragonfly stickers... (exactly the same) and put vinyl on one set of the wings.. and then made the dragonfly 'take off'... love that look... when you open the card, the wings pop up just like it is real and is going to take off...

A close up of the inside cover section...

This is all white... the color is from the inside color of the page...  so please ignor the pink color of this...

Here is the Dragonfly side of the card...

You will see the heart section a little bit closer in the next picture..

Now you can see the pearls in the heart of satin ribbon....  Again this all white.... the saying that you can see is a Just Rite stamp...
Our love is the greatest gift we can give each other...

So very true in all ways... and the truest form of love is to give from the heart... not materially...

Okay... now for the inside of the card...

This card really took me by surprise... I dont' sit and plan things out... I go with the flow... truly I do... and when I finally got to this section... I loved the card... 100%... that doesnt' always happen...

Anyway... lets take it a little bit further...

The far right panels, is the same as the far left panel... minus the little bird...

The Center panel... Oh how I enjoyed doing this section... I used a piece of Parchment paper and ran it thru the Cuttlebug embossing plus folder of Elegant window... and then used a Ranger ink on it to give a very slight sage color to the parchment paper...  In the center I used the center of Carly (another Cuttlebug embossing plus folder)  and used the same sage ink on that to give it color... Along with the label, which is also a Cuttlebug Embossing plus folder... and used the word LOVE .... plain and simple to give really in depth love feeling to the entire card...

Okay... the flowers....  PRETTIES BY BONNIE    They have two layers of flowers... and a pearl in the center of each flower.... I used markers to color the flowers... and also made each one cupped by using a stylist to 'break' the paper...

I loved the pink one so very much... and was so upset that it was finished, that I made another one... yup... another one...

This one is a very soft sage green background with yellow flowers... and the little birds are blue birds... the sweetest little birds that flit all around in the spring...

The color of the main card is WHITE... and the color of the paper just is really over bearing when I take the picture... sorry about that...
But I hope you can get a  general idea of this card....  So now I have two of these pretties... and I stand them up and just adore them...  dainty, frilly, feminine and loving...

Yikes... have fun making a card that is frilly.... filled with all kinds of love... each layer of these cards is also popped... so there is a lot of thickness to each one... they would have to be put into a box to mail... no two ways about it...

Hope that these influence you to create some cards for Valentines day.. .it isn't that far away...
Have a wonderful day... a loving day at that....
