FALL Back

Oh I finally had some time to get out my Tapestry Stamps and play... it is a lot of things... like all different stamps pads... as I use Versa Magic and some other pigment stamps...  the colors need to be different than I am use to using...  and then all the stamps... which are all on pegs... dowels and each leaf, vine, flower, berry or bud is a different stamp... they are fun to use... but to me their is a rhythm to them... and once you get it done... wow... magic happens... until then... looks like a mess... so I created the messes and then moved on...

This is for the ART WITH HEART challenge over at Eileen Hulls site... so many fun interesting things happening over there all the time... take a look see...  anyway.. the theme this month is FALL BACK... So my ATB is a FALL theme... and the Back... well I went back in time... as I have not done any Tapestry stamping in over 5 years...  BACK IN TIME...  wow... I really made some messes before the stamps started to get the rhythm down...

Here is what I created...

Side one.... this block is 3 x 3 inches... and I dont' have the die yet, so I had to make it myself again...

Side two... Each leaf, twig, and pod, is a stamp...

This is the top of the box...

Side three

Side four... Love this one the best...  the stamps were really really really dancing by this time...

I did use all different FALL colors on each panel... but generally used the same stamps... just different colors... and different dances... LOL...

I hope you enjoyed this ATB... they are fun to make... and this one is going to a friend with some goodies in it...  along with her birthday present...  so very much fun... she will love it...

have a super wonderful day... and Thanks so very much for stopping by for a visit...  I really appreciate each visit you make here...

Fancy and Fun....

This is one of those projects that started to be made a long time ago... and I would add things as they came to me...  the inside of the card started about 5 months ago... and the front of the card was done on Monday... to match a few challenges...

Which are:

The Shabby Tea Room   Color challenge with birds added

The Kraft Journal  Anything goes...

Craft Hoarders Anonymous   Flowers that are hoarded...

I have to tell you something also that is very special to me... I WON another challenge at the KRAFT JOURNAL... and also won a $15.oo gift shopping spree in their store... wonder feelings from this in all ways...  WHAT A GREAT HONOR... thank you all for the vote of love you have given to my work and play...  I cherish the feelings .

okay...

Now I know you are waiting to see this all.. and so here it is...

BIRDS and LACE

Front of the card
I was playing with my Tapestry stamps and made a wreath...  love these little peg stamps... as you can create so very much with them...  I added the wreath onto a background of stenciled goodness and fun using TH gothic stencil and textured paste... fun galore... and then colored some of it with a baby wipe!!!
Of course I love MS lace makers... my paper punches... and since my studio has all been organized again... I have all my dies and punches in one location... so it is so convenient to pull out what I need to play with to create fun and a mess in my studio... all over the place.

Do you see the little bird tucked into the next among the flowers... she is resting... and having a litter of babies..

The flowers were made from colored coffee filters... and the leaves a drew, cut out and added liquid pearl (gold) as accents on the leaves...

You can see the tapestry stamping a little clearer on this picture...  each leaf and cluster is a separate stamp... so this is a lot of stamping...  and a lot of fun to me...

Moving back a little...

Getting ready to open the card up.......

The inside of the card...

Each section I will talk about below...

Starting at the back.. a paper with MS lace all around the edges, then a layer of Anna Griffin paper... and then a section that creates the folds in this card...  and I made it into a pocket...

Swiss dotted (embossed paper) on the front of the pocket...
Snails, and little fairy on a mushroom...

The tag... with a vintage rose clip art fussy cutted...

Tea Bag folding.. I love tea bag folding... and this is called the Celtic Knot... a little wreath with some tissue paper flowers...

Ahhhh the big old fluffy bird with a fairy riding on her back...  I love this vintage clip art... so very fun and wish I was a fairy at times and could jump on a birds back for a nice breezy ride around the country side... wouldn't you like to do that too???
WHAT FUN would that be??

The last section is a fairy named Luna moth... she is so beautiful... I had to use her here...

Another very special fold...  and so very small ... I really had to work at this folded flower...

There she is in all her glory...

Well there you have it... my card of love

Love of PINK
Love of BIRDS.
Love of FAIRIES
Love of LACE
LOVE!

Hope you have something to create that you LOVE ...  I certainly have LOVED making this card and also sharing it with ya'll...

Hope you have a fun day... and enjoy creating something special... Thanks for stopping by for a visit...

Doves in LOVE

I had to use these two love birds... how precious are they... love the colors... and so I used the colors in the tag too... obviously...

I used my distress Milled Lavender Stain and then pad to create the background... then a little perfect pearls mist ... just to make it sparkle...  I used a piece of fencing that was on my work table... and the seam binding...  simple like they are... and loving also...

Have a fun day... Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

Just a tiny little glass of wine

Background... Using A distress ink pad, I smeared it onto my worksheet.. and then misted it lightly... and took my tag and rubbed it into the inks..  I think I used Victorian Velvet, and a little bit of Spun Sugar.  then I used some Perfect Pearls Mist over the entire tag... again grabbing a few colors and misting... then using my heat gun to dry...

Okay... then I grabbed some of my stamps... wanted that olde Vintage look of the paper... so I used my crackle stamp 6x6 from Impression Obsession... and some Vintage Photo Distress ink and created this look...  I used a tiny little stamp by Tapestry Stamps for the leaf border... and also some black archival ink that was there on my worktable... things are used that are handy... and it was left there... so it got used...   Then I cut out my vintage clip art... and glued that down...

Then I wanted to do some tiles... so I grabbed the fractual Idea-o logy squares and put alcohol inks on them...  I used Latte, Hazelnut and a little red... can't remember the name of it... anyway wanted a little of that... it only takes a few minutes (seconds actually ) for the inks to dry...

Then using a Black Archival ink pad, I inked up my Tapestry flowers and inked onto the alcohol ink... and then as quickly as you stamp you wipe it off... and you have the imprint of the stamp... it is so wild...
You might have to look hard.. but there is alittle flower in the upper right hand corner... and a larger flower in the lower middle of the tile...  then I flipped the fractual over and stamped a dragonfly with the black archival ink... and allowed it to dry... You should try this... you can use any kind of plastic... even cut up a sheet of packaging... it all works...  then you adhere to a sheet of glossy white paper...  I used Glossy accents to glue it down... (good glue to use for so many projects)

I used a few different size tiles for this tag... all are so much fun to create... have to use this more often...

I guess you can use different backgrounds for different looks too... think I will try some metallic ones next!!!  That should be fun... maybe use my silver foil and a little alcohol ink on that... wow... I will have to play some more with these little tiles... also some plastic recyclable sheets... always love to recycle.

Have a fun day... create something fun.  and TOTALLY enjoy yourself..  even inky messes...  Thanks for stopping by... more on the way for tomorrow... so please stop back... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Earth Angel

Three challenges that I LOVE to do each and every week... hope I can keep up to it now... as I am starting to work on my quilting... and will be using my inks, stamps, creativeness on that piece of my life...

But until then... here is a tag that I made to include three challenges...

Sunday Stamper... Show a face

Simon Says Stamp and Show ... which is to do a title of a song... EARTH ANGEL

Grungy Monday... to crackle... which I did... as you can see in the picture below...
Here is the tag prior to all the embellishments... I really loved it... and wanted to share it prior to putting everything on it...

I used distress inks and colored it... then used some Perfect pearl mists and then I used some Impression Obsession stamps for the writing...  okay... they I went wild with some tapestry stamps.... then I crackled it...

Added some Silver misting... and then started to add my other embellishments... like the tea bag folding on the top edge of the tag...  ooops... I didn't take a close
up picture... sorry...
Then I added a little bow under the picture of the earth angel... and a stick pin that my Friend Marie bought...

Maybe you can see the crackle here  a little better...
And I added a dragonfly gold sticker...  just for the earth part along with the flowers...

Love the blues, greens and gold on this tag... all earthly colors don't you think???

Hope you have a fun day today... and thanks for stopping by for a look see...

Blue on Blue

What a fun thing to create for a book cover!!!  I wanted to do a few more of these little plastic tiles for a book cover... this book is only 4X5 and so perfect for what I am doing with it... It is the first little book of my grandsons birth.. I didn't like the first one I did... so I am really redoing it... LOL... not that I dont' have more and other things to do... just wanted to re-do this one...
The cover of the book was purple... which I loved.. but I used Twinkling H20's and covered the purple...  then I added alittle strip of My Minds eye paper... adn then a Martha Stewart border ... now that is where I added the GOLD for this project... As on Sunday Stamper we are to add GOLD.... it is there... hope you can see it...

Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge this week is to create anything other than a card... so this is not a card... that is for sure... and this is perfect for the cover of this sweet little book...

The Tiles are for Grungy Monday... Linda loves doing Tim's Techniques (as do I)  and this is a great one.  When I first did it, I thought it wouldn't work... but it certainly did... love it... Try this technique... you will love it... a little alcohol ink... a little plastic, and you will have fun... I am going to try this with a sheet of packaging today... I have not done anything really large and want to try it... These pieces were made with three colors of blue and a little green... so it is was a multi colored thing... love blending the inks too... what don't I like???  CLEANING.... LOL... actually I really do like it... but prefer my studio... dont' you???

I used Tapestry stamps as I wanted to create a small design for this small book... and I do love the feeling of it... sort of a small batik design....  Anyway... that is project for today...

Some gals have written asking if I have started my quilting... which I have not at all started... a few set backs... our kids were here for a week... and our son and his family are leaving I think today... so we are just finishing up with our Christmas time together... it has been fun and we all loved all the gifts that we had all made and bought from all over the world...  I will share a few later on this week... have to get my life re-situated again... LOL  I do know that you all understand that... that is an understatement...

My quilt is waiting for the fabric to arrive... and then it was canceled ... so I am having to find the muslin I want to use again...  so am waiting on finding that... it will be a long project for this winter and most likely a years time... you will see the panels on my blog... don't worry about that ... I will share.

Hope that you have a wonderful day... stay safe and happy and remember to enjoy life...

An Early Spring

Oh wow... what a way to start out this week... I just had all of my family here for a week... and am now trying to catch my breath and reclaim my SPACE... LOL.... my self is more like it... anyway... we totally enjoyed every minute of their visit...

So when I checked out the challenges today... I saw that I was in LUCK... as I am making presents for next year already...

Sunday Stamper challenge .... Hels asked that we use GOLD... so I used gold wire to create the flower on the top of this charm...

Grungy Monday.... to use a technique of Tim Holtz's with alcohol ink and archival inks... with plastic... Love this one...

Simon Says Stamp and Show...  to make anything other than a card...

So all of these fit into one project...  A pendant for a necklace!!!

I took a couple of pictures of this... as it was very difficult to photograph with the Pool Alcohol inks...As you might be able to see I did use some really fun stamps... they are Tapestry Stamps... they are nice and small and I could stamp the flowers where I wanted them...  and then a leaf spray and of course a dragonfly...

This picture was taken with a white background and it looks entirely different... but of course it is the same pendant...  the flower on the top is just gold wire formed to create the flower... and the back of the pendant is white... which has been treated with glossy accent...

I love making fun things like this... Hope that you will give this technique a try too... it is really fun.

Have a fun day... create something creative and enjoyable for someone else...  Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope you will come back tomorrow...  Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Christmas Time

I can smell the balsam all over my house.. I love that smell... and ten a lite candle and I am in the mood for Christmas to be here... I love the colors, the lights and all the love flowing all over the place...

I had a few more cards I needed to make, so here they are..

I used the Cardinal from Heartfelt Creations... and used my Tombow markers on it... and then used some bundled sage Distress stickles on the branches...

I used the Grand Label 4 for the two Spellbinder shapes... and then a polka dotted Cuttlebug folder for the background...

I made the envelope using my Martha Stewart scoring pad... and lined the card also... using a Punch on the edge.

This card is 5 x 7 so it is a huge stamp...

Do you have stamps that you don't use too often???  I certainly do... and so I dragged out my Tapestry stamps and created the background on the label 10 Spellbinder...

And then I sponged a green around a scalloped spellbinder shape and then put the red beaded oval on top of that area... to give a white border around the red...

The flowers???? Well they just so happen to be from Pretties by Bonnie and I layered the larger of the two flowers...

This is a gate card... so the white punched border is on both sides of the other panel... which opens...

Close up of the panel... A friend of mine gave me a fun birthday present... it was a bag filled with all kinds of fun goodies... including buttons, stamps and beads... just loaded to the hilt.. Thanks again Brenda... I love it all.. and here is one of the gold buttons... Just perfect for the finishing touch...

When you open the card....

Plain and simple... I wrote this out and
the punched edge gives it that finished look...

You will see inside this message...

I am still working on some other things... but am very busy getting ready for Christmas week... the week after actually when our children and grandson will be with us for the week!!!! Are we lucky or what... WE are so very excited about having them all with us... it will be fun.

Of course I already have a special place for our grandson to play in the studio, so he get his hands use to crafting... no time like the present ... right???

I hope that the weather is not hindering your plans to get things done.. and that you are having fun no matter what the weather is like around your home...Enjoy every minute of your planning and making things just so... Thanks for taking the time out to take a visit here... love it when you come and visit...

Zen Dazzle Doodles used some more...

I love using these frames for some of these cards.. they are fun to use... and very versatile... On this one I used the spellbinders in the middle and then built if up to create a nice space for these from flowers from Pretties by Bonnie...

I used the flower called Flower with dip... and then punched out some cosmos in black for the center of the flower... I added my little bird and a butterfly... The frame was colored with watercolor pencils... and the leaves and little bird were colored with Twinkling H20's... and the little bird I used some stickles on it... just had to have it sparkle a little bit..

I also used this card in appreciation for Scrappigramma2 Gracie's reign as Queen for the Day challenge... as her cards are always so very pretty and pink... she loves detail and this is for HER... Happy Queen day Gracie.. you certainly deserve to be honored as Queen... I certainly appreciate your friendship too neighbor...

This card was created with color... I just fell in love with the way this design just really turned out with color added.. love the explosion of color... It has green, turquoise, lime, purples, and blues... love all these colors... and together... wow for me.. I love them...

I put a piece of gold wrinkled paper in the center of the octagon... the card is called Reflection... so I thought it was perfect for that area. A little bird and a tag of happiness... and done

The card is on a very pale blue bazzill paper..

This card was made for a challenge today... F4A14... which is where we had to create a card showing something we collect other than our play toys for creating our cards etc... So I do have quite a few things I do collect...

Angels, Baskets, quilts, shells, snails, teddy bears, dragonflies, books and magazines... birdhouses, and old bird nests... if it has an egg... all the better... and of course flowers that grow outside.. I love them...

This card is also made with another Zen dazzle Doodle frame... and I do hope that you will check out my book...
You can download the book for only $10.00 and it will be ready for you to copy as many frames as your heart desires... day and night... all different kinds... You can get to the publisher by just clicking on the Books for sale in the right hand column of my blog... it will take you there.. and you will see all my books, but you will also see the one with FRAMES... that is the one that all three of these came from...

Thanks for taking a look... and also for stopping by to visit..
Have a safe and happy holiday week-end...

Monday's Challenge

Today's Challenge was to make a FLIP FLOP card... one that you see a different front on... and then when you pull the sides, it flips open to show another side... I have taken two pictures so that you can see both front and the inside of the card... I really had fun making this one today... it came together fast, once I FINALLY decided on the paper... what a chore that was... it took me longer to decide which paper to use than it did to make the entire card... Oh well... it's Monday morning...

The paper is a K and Company paper... Hydrangea with a lot of browns and a pretty blue background... it is a two sided paper... and the back side is actually an entirely different blue... but it sort of blends with this blue... You really don't see the two blues up against each other... so it is okay... Anyway.. the Brown was alittle too much... so I made a border with a Martha Stewart corner and border set... Love this sweet eyelet set anyway... and I haven't used it in a few weeks... then I made the center with a labels 10... adn stamped the birthday wishes on it.. .the paper is another K and Company paper... then put my favorite little bird on it's nest popped over the words... what fun... ( This blogger isn't going to let me type where I want to... which is next to the inside picture...) So when you get down to the bottom of this blog... you will see the inside... where I have used a Inkadinkadoo stamp with three little birds... which are colored with watercolor pencils... and I added some gold filigree stickers around the corners... added a little bow and a few pearls... and called it finished... a sweet little card... Thanks Holly for the GREAT Challenge..Loved it.... Haven't made one of these cards in awhile... and I love making these... Great wake up call... and one more bithday card FINSHED!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by... and there are more newly posted cards below... so take a look at them too... thanks again.. and have a wonderful day... Love, Light and Peace..Bonnie

Heart Vintage style

On this challenge we were suppose to crate Vintage type cards... I love that type of card.. in fact most of my cards really have a vintage flair to them anyway...

This one I used a new set of Tapestry stamps... you know the little ones on the pegs... I love them... love creating with them... I should use them a little more often.. .they give such a lovely background of lush color and flowers... and you all know how I love flowers...

I also used a lot of spellbinders.. new ones that I just recently received... Love them all.. but this Grand lace... I love that one... It is a long template... and you could use it for a scrapbook page... so when I use it, I am able to use sections of it... great for me... as I love to save pieces I have created to use for other cards.. since this was vintage... I added a lot of paper laces... the others are created with Martha's punches...

To me, vintage is also the colors that are used... on this card... I used light and dark blue(navy) and then the bows are yellow... the pearls around the center label are purple also... to match the violet flowers...

Thanks for taking a look at my cards... and leave a comment around the blogs... become a follower... and enjoy in the fun of blogging...

Love Light and Peace... Bonnie
