Today has truly been a CHALLENGE day.... yikes... this is forth and fifth challenges.. yikes... am I addicted to this??? I think so... and I love it... I love sharing and doing all these fun things... also learning about all the different ways to use things...
So this month Tim had us do a technique that is so fun.. one of my all time favorites... I love the look that the mixative gives to the inks... I don't have canned air... so I used a straw and blew the ink around the paper... and love the different looks I got... I did quite a few and have a few on here to share with you... if you haven't tried this one.. you really should... it is really wild... love it...
I wanted to move onto the next step... so I used my heat gun.. and the mixitive 'bubbled' up a little bit... for a really nice bit of texture.... I love that kind of thing...
I also grabbed the Olive Archival ink... vs the Black... oops... big time oops... but that is okay... I love it anyway... not as intense as the black would have been... so this is great...
Using time... living time to the fullest... living in the moment.... all of these things are my mantras now... as I am loving all the fun things in my life... wow... what a fun time...
At the beginning of this I decided that I really wanted a pastel tag... so I used Sherbert and also pool... and then juniper... so I got a fun color scheme with that...
I also tried the sherbert and the pool with cranberry... thinking and hoping that the mixative would calm down the cranberry... but not enough... so I tried one more...
I used three greens... and then lemonade and peach Bellini... think these are the correct names... but you get the idea anyway...
So I used the first one for this tag... but these other ones will be saved and used for something else...
So I used so of my Alcohol inks... and had a blast... I really do enjoy them... and will be teaching a class on the 26th of this month down at Scrapbook Creations... for details please go here...
This tag is for two challenges... one is for Tim Tag of the month
And the other one is for Stamper Sunday... Hels asked us to use Silver...
So if you want to learn detail by detail how to make this tag background etc... go to Tim's site for all the details... you will be glad you did...
Hey... have a fun day... enjoy creating something fun... and thanks for stopping by for a visit... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

June Giggles
Happy Saturday!!! Yikes where does time go... is it flying or what!!!Anyway... here it is JUNE... and Tim's 2012 Tag is ready to be seen!!! Love all the things on this tag... and I really had a blast doing all of it...
For all the details and techniques for this tag you can go to Tim's site... but for mine you can see that I have followed all the basic steps. . . . .
and then the party started... I used all kinds of ideology and things for my embellishments... and what fun it was too...
I even stapled a butterfly left over from a challenge yesterday with Studio L3....
The tab I made and put the number 8 on it... as I was only 8 months old when this picture was taken of me... My Dad was in the Philippines during WWII and my Mom and I were living with her parents in Connecticut...
And the saying under this...
the journey awakens the soul... is so very very true for me... so I had to put that under this picture....
I used pink and yellow on the picture as tints... and it really looks a lot better in real life than in this photo of the photo... LOL... but I am sure you get the general idea of the whole tag...
I will use it in my tag book for ME...
I have always been a person that giggles, laughs and enjoys life... so the tag is me too... I even used some chit cat words... on the tag.. had fun... and hope that you will take a look at this challenge and join in... The flowers I embossed with all different colors... it is a pretty posey...
Have a super nice day... it is chilly here now!!! And I am totally enjoying it... might even sit in the sun a little today... so enjoy your day too... and see you tomorrow... thanks for stopping by for a visit...
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Pretty Flowers plus new techniques
A tag for a couple of challenges... first off this is for Tims tag for May... I am so very happy about this... as I had bought the melt pot a few months ago to make porcelain flowers... and the list of to do's kept on getting longer and longer... and the porcelain flowers just never got to the top of the list... o well... this pushed me into dusting off the melt pot and doing it... I did do it a little bit differently though... you will see below...
I also love my Mondays as I can sit and think about what I am going to create for Simon Says Stamp and Show... I love that challenge... all the DT really do GREAT work... and it is very inspirational... so today it was Anything Goes... LOVE IT... so I am combining the two... but will most likely do another for both or one... LOL... have to see how the day goes...
I also wanted to do a new technique that I have been wanting to do for a while... and I did it on this tag... it is really great... you collage a piece of paper to the desired space... and then brayer some acrylic paint over it... and then wipe it off quickly... leaving a faded image!!! So I did that over the bird cage area... it did exactly what I wanted to do... left the image and yet not as clear as it was... just the desired look...
Prior to doing that ... I had made my background with some of the new Squeezed Lemonade Yellow Distress ink... very very pretty color... bright and charming... and when dry... just sweet and lovely... then I used a crackle stamp of Tim's with Archival Coffee to make the paper look a little old... and roughed up the edges...
My Mannequin... well... that took me a little time... I didn't like the first 4 I did... wrong size... wrong color... wrong this and that... so finally I got this one... and it was perfect... color just what I wanted... I am in this pink and yellow phase... ??? Love them together... .especially with Dyan's dylusions... love that ... yikes... wild plus... okay... back to this...
Then I took a Wreath from Garden Patch Collection and after coloring it with my Distress Markers... which I love the greens in that collection of markers... best ever... and then I used some Liquid Pearls to give some dimension to the leaves..
I love that look...
The Seam Binding ribbon was dyed with the Lilac in the Spring Collection of Distress Inks... and put around the mannequin shape...
THEN ..... I have to tell you I had funny feelings about using the melt pot... I am chemically very sensitive... so I was a little worried... but I opened my French doors on the studio and it was fine... I plugged it in and went to town... I had made my flowers... and I used BABY WIPES.... that I had dyed with the lilac ink... and then cut them with the Tattered Florals die cut... I didn't know how they would hold up... but they did GREAT... as you can see... they are so very thin and look fragile as all get out... total porcelain
This is looking up from the bottom of the tag... as I tucked on under neath the wreath... love the shimmering and shining of the flowers... so very pretty...
Then I took a violet I had made... a flower that I have been working on for a new collection.... and it had been colored with the new lilac also... and then a drop of Liquid Pearl for the center of the flower... I love the bubbles that I got into this flower... it reminds me of Dew Drops on the violets when you pick them in the early morning... I love to use violets on cakes etc... and always will dip them in powdered sugar... so very pretty on a cake or fancy cupcakes... they are so good to eat too... full of vitamins for the well being of your body...
So looking back on this fun tag... I love the whole thing... and I learned a lot of fun things... I love the colors together... and had fun with the new techniques...
Hope that you will try this one too...
It is fun and the results are GREAT too... what to dip next???? Hummmmm
Thinking ....
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and hope to see you soon... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

A spring NOTE
I love playing with new TOYS... and these are two new toys that arrived this week... YEAH.. just in time for another Tim Tag review...
So... I started off a little different than I had planned... but that was okay... I was playing...
I used some Inks and then Embossed with the music folder...
Then I colored the areas I wanted to highlite and then had tons of fun doing one of my favorite things... MAKING FLOWERS... wow that die cuts so many little flowers that a sheet of 12 x 12 paper made over 17 flowers... tons of fun!!!
I used different brads in each one of the flowers and then used liquid pearls to accent the brads for a pretty center... Dogwood blossoms are not as dimensional as these flowers are... but the color and the centers are like this HUGE dogwood in our backyard... it is over 30 feet tall... and the color is breath taking plus... just glorious this week... with the cooler temps and the rains... this tree is just SCREAMING LIFE...
Here is a close up of the flower... Love it...
Well.. I am sharing this tag with you today... as it is for the Simon Stamp and Show Challenge of making a Tim Tag... which this is 100% a Tim Tag... Not 100% like the one that he created for the 12 Tags of 2012... but similar to it...
Hope that you have a very pleasant day... enjoy the flowers in your area... (hopefully there are some blooming ) Our azaleas are just so beautiful this year... I will have to wander out and take some pictures and share them with you later... Thanks for stopping by for a visit... see you tomorrow with more goodies... I have so many things that I have been doing recently to share with you... wish there were more hours in the day to create, share and do all the fun things on the computer... Thanks so very much for all the great comments you leave on my blog... I truly wish I could visit your site and leave a message too... sometime soon I hope to have a real connection to the internet, vs this dial up... My neighbor and I are working on it... hopefully soon.

No Crows in the Asparagus
Spring is a wonderful time of the year... in fact one of my very favorite of the entire year... I love all the pretty colors of the season and the FLOWERS... well if you know anything about me... you know I LOVE FLOWERS of all kinds.. . In fact as I am writing this I am looking out my office window and see about 15 azaleas bushes... but the one closest to the window is going to have be cut back... as it is starting to cover the window... it is all white... and next to it the prettiest fuchsia and then a pale pink and deeper pink... and a lilac and a few more whites... so very pretty... Spring is also a time of when our gardens all are starting to produce heavy amounts of produce... that we totally enjoy.... Asparagus is one... there is a family story about asparagus too... we lived in NJ bringing up our children for 3o years... (or so) and we kept on trying to sell the house and move... we wanted out of NJ so bad... we lived in the section that was very pretty.. up in the north western section of NJ... but still we just wanted to move out .... but every year when spring came we wished we had asparagus.. but we didn't plant them, because we were going to MOVE... of course we finally did... and when we bought the farm we said we would plant asparagus here... and we finally DID... and so we are loving them... we have been totally spoiled by the amount we get each year... they are delicious and so very good... soups, sautees, raw, pestos, dips, you name it... we have had asparagus in it... we love them anyway at all... so when this tag of TIM's was spring oriented, I thought I had better do the asparagus theme... vs the bird... I love birds and will do one with a bird after tomorrow... as I will be getting my new Branch die cut then... YEAH!!! Along with my Distress Markers... YEAH YEAH YEAH... I can hardly wait to use them...
If you haven't checked out Tim's site recently he is doing a tag on the first of every month... so why not join in on the fun... learn something new and enjoy...
This month it is all about embossing, stamping, and using layers of inks and die cuts... and boy did I have fun...
This tag is also to help us keep CROWS our of the garden this year... last year they attacked out watermelons... and that was not a good thing at all..
So this is the warning...
Live the life you've imagined... and stay out of our garden... that is the message to the crows... otherwise.. there will be a change in your life... Thanks... Hopefully they will understand the intent there... we are doing a lot of things to help keep them out... but they don't seem to care... they are hungry too... but they ruin the whole patch in one day... taking a bite out of every one of the things... not eating until full... just plundering the entire patch of what ever it is they desire...
Well... grab some toys... and start to play with making a tag... check out Tim's site and join in... see you later... and thanks for stopping by for a visit... hope you have time to check out my new kits for sale... it is a fun way to learn and with the price of gas ... a good way to save too... Lets not forget to keep the stores in business... and stop in there to buy our supplies... learn in the comfort of your home for the entire year... in your space...
Have a super nice day...
Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Poppies in Purple
Okay, I wasn't going to link this to the 12 Tags of 2012... but this was a take off on that challenge... I was trying to create mosaic butterflies... and so this whole card evolved from that and also my White on White class that will be at Scrapbook Creations on March 31... Funny how things all come together on my work area!!! Anyway... I also had a stack of mulberry papers... and found this small piece of plum hanging out... and I cut some leaves to make this flower... and had them also sitting on my area... so it all went together really fast...
The flowers are full and pretty... I love them.. I wadded up white mulberry for the tiny little balls in the center of each flower... and then the leaves are my rubber stamp again...
The paper in the center... I created it months ago with Twinkling H20's... love those little pots of glimmer...
I used a scrap of Twinkling H20 paper to create the mosaic tiles for the butterflies wings...
Notice that the entire butterfly is not done.. only sections of the wings... the other sections are painted... LOL... parts here and there... to make a whole...
So again... a card that I will use for my class... and also enjoy on my desk for a few days... I always keep something on my computer desk that I like... keeps me happy all the time... reminds me where I need to be... and that is not on the computer... it is playing in the studio!!!
Thanks for stopping by... and hope to see you tomorrow too...
Always something going on around here... that is for sure...
Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie
PS.... have always loved doing mosaic things... even large projects like a wall mural once... long long ago.... fun things...
Try this on a small scale and see if you like it... then do something larger... I bet you will have fun with it!!!
Enjoy...

Three different Mosaic Touches
Like I said... I really had a time with this theme... so here are some of the other tags I made for this challenge... LOL.. I still have more... but later...
This one on the right... DREAM, was really a fun tag to create...
I used The die cut DREAM and then put 1/2 of the tag thru the embossing folder... and then stamped the area around DREAM with Letters to Santa Words... (told you I would use that stamp year round) and then took some letters from Lost and Found pad of paper by Tim and cut them out to create the word SPRING... then added mosaic pieces around that... I used Glossy accent on the pieces of purple paper... I used 7 different Distress colors on this tag... and used pads, stains, mini misters, and all kinds of things... just had a BLAST!!!
My Butterfly is a three layered butterfly
that I cut using a Spellbinder die and then ran thru a cuttlebug embossing folder... glued them together to create this flying butterfly...
Total Bliss
Another type of tag... this one I used one of my entries from my art journal and added some goodies around it...
I finally bought the Textile stamp of Tims'... i have admired it for a long long time... and finally decided that I had to have it... so I played with that for a long time today...
I used all kinds of techniques and finally had a huge stack of these pretty papers.... and I used a few on this tag... I love this stamp.... Anyway... I added the entry from my journal... a few stamped sheets of paper... and then some leaves on top of the paper lace up the side... and that other butterfly!!! I love these pretty butterflies with the New Liquid Pearls on them...
So will my friend that I sent this too... Hi Sandy in Michigan...
Okay... I did make some Mosaic butterflies... but really didn't like them enough to use them.... but I did play around with them... I think I will put them into my journal of techniques... which is getting to be HUGE... I might have to build a box to house them all... LOL... anyway... it was fun to play around with some new things... I made the flower using some Red Mulberry paper... and the other one using a soft organic paper... all in all I had fun...
Hope you enjoy these tags...
And please take a look over at Tim's blog and check out all the neat tags that have been entered there... so many pretty ones... all very creatively done...
Thanks for stopping by today... hope you have a fun day...

Butterflies of Spring
Well Tim released his March tag… and I was a little
bewildered as to what to do… I am not into browns at all… so this was a huge
problem for me… so I started off and
made a couple of tags and really didn’t like the way that they carried the
theme that Tim had created.
So back to the drawing board…
Then I decided to take my mind off that tag and worked on a
few samples for classes that I will be teaching… and then all of a sudden it
came to me…
My NEW LIQUID
PEARLS….
YES!!! That is it….
WOW!!!
That was it…
So I gathered them all up and started to play with them….
I cut out ( using a few Spellbinder dies) some
butterflies… and then I started to play
with all the new Liquid pearls… Have you seen all the NEW colors???
They are yummy… and I got them ALL…..I am a little addicted
to all these pretty things… so I had to HAVE them all…
Anyway… I put different colors on each butterfly… and then
came the hardest part…. Allowing them to DRY!!!! I put them under the lamp
and left my studio for a while.. that way I wouldn’t touch them…. My fingers
get a little anxious… I went and made
some chocolate chip/walnut multi grain cookies for my sweet hubby… he loved
them.
So after they were all dry, I started to STACK them up… and
created three really pretty butterflies…
one didn’t quite make it onto this tag… but it did go on another tag to
a friend… I will share that with you later…
So here is my tag…
I used kraft paper… and then ran it thru my Big Shot with
Tim’s Wood embossing folder… I don’t
have that stamp… and I filled up the
entire tag with embossing… I have a little trick so that I can fill up a longer
than needed space… so that is good…
After that, I used a couple of Distress ink pads to add more color to
the wood … and then more glimmer by using Cappuccino Perfect Pearls mist…. Oh I love it…
Can you see the glimmer on it??? It is really so happy....
Now you have to remember… I am NOT a person that likes using
BROWNS…. So this is entirely out of the box for me in all ways…
( I had a few little tape measures on my work space… and
glued them on the tag… just to get them off my work space.,.. LOL… )
Then made this pretty rose… again using Kraft paper… and
when it was finished, I spritzed it with Cappuccino Perfect pearls mist… and
did the same with the leaves… the leaf is my stamp, that I create from a sheet
of eraser… cutting it out and using it over and over…
I glued all the leaves down and then started to work on my
butterflies… where to put them….
I wanted to add some words… but didn’t want to add a lot of
words… so I picked a nice idea-ology…
and wanted some more color… so I
embossed it with some Adirondack embossing
powder… (lettuce and Bottle!!! Don’t’ you just love it??? )
Okay… so I added some seam binding… which I colored with
some mini misters that had copper tones and of course browns…
I think I really love the BROWNS….
And I LOVE my new Liquid Pearls…
Don’t’ forget to pick these up next time you are out
shopping… in fact, make a special trip to get them… they are well worth it…
I have to say that I am really excited about this tag... The glimmering of it is so very pretty... an all the colors really stand out... I did go out of the box and love the effects that I created...
Hope that you will try something NEW...
It is always fun...
This picture is not the best... a little dark... but wanted to share as much of this tag as possible...
This will show you the depth of the butterflies on the tag... they are really pretty...
I love them...
Well, we had severe tornadoes all around us last night... but we were lucky and they passed over us... so today is a new day and hopefully no more tornadoes warnings today... Have a good one... create to your hearts content and enjoy it all...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and please check out all the other tags on Tim's site.... they are so pretty... wish I had a faster speed so I could to to each site... I would love to see each one up close and personal...

Happy 12 Tags for 2012
Tim is into CHANGE... and that is so great, as this is the year of the Dragon on the Chinese Calendar... and it is all about CHANGE.... a wonderful process that really helps us GROW in all directions... so the first change is that Tim is going to have new tag Challenge each month... so take a look here
download the side panel and join in on the fun... I can hardly wait to share with all the gals that join in and also maybe even get to see a few blogs myself... I stay up late at night and view one a night... as it takes a long long time to download on dial up!!! But it is worth it...
So my other tag was released yesterday and as promised I created on that was a little more like Tim's.... I used the Valentine stamp on the background... and used my while dabber and then used Victorian Velvet and Red Mahogany on the background... I used my distressing tool on the edges and then started to really
create and have more fun...
I wanted to have some bangles on the top, so I used some beads and made my own dangles... and used some vintage gold safety pins... I love these little things... I have about 25 more and that is it... I can't tell you how many I use to have... boxes of them... and I gave them all away when we moved... (another story and a half) I cut out a heart and then used Red Mahogany Distress Crackle on it... and then used my Tim Music tape on the edges and created a ruffle...
Cupid is very busy here... shooting his love (clear crystal hearts) at your heart...
Cupid... another story... I didn't buy the die cut of cupid... but I did have the adorable stamp of him... so I stamped it in Red Mahogany and then CUT IT out by hand... I love to cut anyway.. so it wasn't a problem... then I used distress Victorian Velvet stickles... and cover cupid...
Another shot of the crystal hearts going to the large heart...
Now down at the bottom of the tag, I used a Martha Punch and then top dressed the paper lace with a tissue tape ruffle again... just helps to tie the whole tag together... repeat, repeat and repeat... I can remember my design professor saying that over and over... so I repeated it ...
then a little seam binding wrapped around the tag and a bow added.
I hope you had a wonderful Valentines Day... Glenn and I certainly did... we celebrate Valentines Day every day of the year... I hope you can too... so I added another page to my Blog... and it has all my LOVE Tags for Valentines on it... take a look and I hope you feel the love that I am sending to YOU...
Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and stop by Tim's blog and join in on the love and fun we will all have each month...

Valentine Day all year long...
I truly hope that you had a very very loving day yesterday...As it was Valentines Day... if you don't have a person in your life that is your partner, than you have to spend extra time on loving self... being nice to yourself and believe in the truth of that... it is very very important to love self... not in a conceited way... but a good way... as if you don't love yourself.. .you certainly can't love anyone else... being good to yourself is a good place to be...
So this tag was to be good to ME... I put 24 hearts on it... which means 2 for every month... a lot of love... !!!! I had fun making this... for many reasons... I love this stamp by Tim Holtz and also love the color combination that I used to make it... I used Dusty Concord and milled Lavender on the background... and then I embossed with gold as I wanted this to really stand out... I am doing the ALL NEW tags with Tim too... the 12 tags of 2012... love it... and so this is the tag for February... but I did do it a little bit differently... but I will do the other way to... as I love that technique 100%... I think it is one of my favorite backgrounds... love it TIM....
I also did this tag for Grungy Monday and Sunday Stamper and also for Simon Says Stamp and Show... as they are all with the theme of LOVE... and creating with Tim's Toys... so as you can see here I made some flowers and cut out some leaves... and just had fun with a few Spellbinders too...
I love using Seam binding tape... so that is a given... I used Victorian Velvet on it... and it is much fun... I wanted my crystal hearts to really pop... so I put them on some wire and glued them with Glossy Accents (if you don't have any of that glue... you are truly missing out on a good glue... not kidding either...)
I really love the stamp with this huge LOVE on it... and it had to be in gold... sorry Tim... but I will do another one with the dabber... I promise...
I love another technique that I use all the time... it is the alcohol one.. love that... and on this tag I used the dabber with a new Fiskar stamp... added some vintage flowers... and a little paper lace and my Charm... which is so much fun to create...
I also will have another tag coming along a little later today... so come on back a little later... and thanks so much for stopping in now... I hope you will give yourself a little self love and enjoy the WHOLE day...
