Pink on Pink

This is so very delicate.. I used a few different clip art sources... the background is from my Maternal Grandparents wedding book... which is 99 years old.  they got married in 1913.... wow... a few years ago!!!  Anyway... I did scan in all the pictures from the book and t his is one of the prettiest ones...  Then I had to cut it all out... I also cut the woman out...

I played with these two for a long time, trying to figure out what to do with them... I did want to use them both... and also the silver frame..

I cut that out from the die that Sheila sent to me... thanks again Sheila for that... I love it... so very me...  I wanted to use a very delicate background... so I used a 6x6 Impression Obsession stamp and put white dabber all over it... and stamped it onto the manilla tag... then I used my foam blending tool and Victorian Velvet Distress ink and put that all over the tag... then I quickly used a very damp cloth and removed the ink from the dabber... lovely... I guess I should take pictures of the tags prior to putting anything on them... they are really quite pretty... I will see if my allows me to remember that when I play to make more tags...

Here is a close up of the frame... I used the silver foil... (technique can be found on Jan 23rd post)  and since the square was a lot larger than the width of the tag, I cut it to the size I wanted...

Sometimes we just have to do that... don't we...

This face and background picture remind me of my grandmother... so very much... so I guess I will have to send this tag to my Mom... she will love it... Hope she can see it...

Love to create... so I think I will spend the rest of the day doing just that... hope you get into creative moods and spend hours playing... organizing, doing things that you like to do...  SEe you back here tomorrow I hope..  I have a few more tags to go... only 10 days until Valentines day... so get your sweetie something sweet... I don't know what I am going to get mine... still working on it... maybe I will make him something!!!  One from paper... and one that he can eat... a sweet cake!!!

Love to cook too...  yikes... I love so many things and spend all my time doing them... I guess I am spoiled... and I love that too... LOL...

Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

  1. This is extraordinarily beautiful, Bonnie. So soft and I love the layering you have done.
