Tea Bag Classes

Yesterday I had a Tea Bag class and the gals had so very much fun...  we made a few cards... and learned 4 new folds...  a fun day.. lots of laughs, and fun...  also Glenn made a nice snack for us... roasted Sunflower and Pumpkin seeds.... perfectly seasoned with garlic, Braggs amino acids, and a little smoked salt... yummmm  ...

Anyway.. I wanted to share some of the cards and folds that they learned how to create...

This is a gate card that is so very pretty...  the gals made it in similar colors and papers... all the cards were WONDERFULLY Beautiful... or beauty-muss as they say...  A Spellbinder die was used to create the ends... and of course Martha Stewart punches for the trims...  a pocket holds a special message or gift..  always need a place for some cash or check... right???

This next card is really a favorite of mine... I love the delicate nature of it.. the purple and also the dotted Swiss vellum in the center just really sets it off as DELICATE PLUS in my minds eye..

This is on the inside of the card... looking out ward.

Another pretty card... love the flowers that I was able to grab from papers...  and create tea bag tiles to match it...  Hope that you can see the details on these two cards...

I guess you realize that I LOVE PURPLE... right???
So this one is no surprise...

I made the paper behind the goodies...  lots of inks, stamps, acrylic dabbers, sprays with Perfect pearls... and then Spellbinders, bows that I dyed the ribbon to match a color in the background card...  The Victorian boy and egg are so very special too...

Another purple card...  a card telling the snow to leave us alone and to allow SPRING to arrive...
The three panels in the background are metal foils colored with alcohol inks... love using them...

This card was a highlight of the class... a fun card, easy to create and make... and lots of fun...  a score pad, spellbinders and a new medallion got the card finished in no time...  less than half an hour...  WOW... these girls are really getting the knack of tea bag folding...

It POPS open and is so FUN!!!  Love this card... might make some time this afternoon to play a little and make a few more...

Why are you thinking I am addicted???
I love creating with my pretty papers...  so much fun and I love sending cards to friends and also selling them so others can share with their friends...  If you are interested in buying some, please get in touch with me...

Have a super GREAT day... hope it is spring like in your neck of the woods...

Enjoy each day and take what nature delivers to your area...  go with the flow as they say...

Getting into the groove

Today is going to be a fun day... I have to PLAY!!!  What a shame right????  Well I will have to force myself to do this.. as tomorrow I am going to the Mill Spring Ag Center to sell cards, boxes, books and all kinds of things...  a FUN DAY again... what a life.... I love it..

Here are a few more cards that I have created since December...

I started to make a lot of boxes prior to December for gift giving... doing the Ag Center market every week prior to Christmas was so very much fun and a busy busy time...  I loved it all... This is a medallion on the top of the box...  and of course I had all colors for every type of gift giving...  not only in Christmas colors...

I even became very engrossed in playing and creating black and white tea bag tiles from my Zentangles...  Here is one of the layered boxes...  this one only has two layers... but what fun I have had... It is really funny... Men are very drawn to these black and white boxes...  Most men will stop and comment on how attractive these are.  While the ladies love all the colors and flowers etc...  LOL...

Every once in a while I make a card that I really really REALLY LOVE... this is one of those...
Of course the purple is one of my favorite colors...  alive and pretty... I wanted to feel the spring in this card... even though it was made in December...  I love colors...
There is a circle cut into the card, under the medallion... which by the way is a triple layered medallion and is really puffy... very high... almost 1/2 inch thick...
The ribbon... I dyed some seam binding...  LOVE THAT too...  have you bought any of that??? and dyed it...  I have a bag left from when I would spend hours dying it... and need to add to that...  If I could only stop some of the other things I am doing...

Here is the inside of the card...

I think if you look closely you will see that the inside of the circle is also covered with a pretty two layered medallion...

the little faerie is guarding the whole card...  with yet another medallion...  Do you think I LOVE to create Tea Bag Medallions????? Well you guessed it right...

They say that you should always do things in uneven numbers... so here are three bows... do you have a little bow maker...  I don't know how I lived without ONE...  love it... thanks again Cheryl Bennett for this lovely gift... I use it almost every day of my life.  I also am quite fond of all my punches...  and my stamps...  this one is a Just Right one..
and a favorite.

This card might look a little washed out.. .but it is just very delicate.  The butterfly is three layers also... as it is flying around the flowers...  Pink is also another favorite color... as it was my Mom's favorite...  she would have loved this card...

Okay... so I will post a few more cards next time... and until then... hope that you also play a little bit, and have a wonderful time doing it...  Enjoy your day and play time that you will have.

Love, Light and Peace....Bonnie

I'm BACK!!!!!

It has been a very long time since I have blogged... and I am so very sorry... but my internet connection wouldn't allow me to get on here... so hopefully a lot of new things will be happening to this and my other sites... often and on a regular basis...

I have been very busy over the past couple of months...  creating, cleaning out my studio of things I dont' need anymore, teaching more classes... and having fun...

I also had a very sad time in my life, with the passing of my Dear Mother...  she was 94 in November of 2013 and passed this February....  her colon cancer came back with vengeance and so  with dignity she left this Earth Walk and with my Dear Dad and all the rest of our family that has left us too...

I use to get great pleasure in making a pretty card and sending it to my Mom... she loved pretty frilly things... and would love to share them with others...  so very important in life when you share all the time...

That is really what blogging is all about... sharing and seeing all the pretty things...  Yes!!!!   So I have a few cards that I will share that I just recently took pictures of... will share more each day...

All these cards are from Tea Bagging folding classes that I have been teaching...  I love the gals in my class and they really enjoy creating all the different medallions and also now we are learning how to put together a card... all the techniques etc.... so very much fun...

I am also offering these classes on line too... so if interested please contact me... thanks...

Mr. Bunny above, has a pretty fancy cut flower arrangement from an old fashioned card... and also a bow...  made from seam binding ribbon and dyed to match...

The medallion is dangling from the opening... so very fun to do crazy wild things on cards...
This card was made on the Beetles 50th anniversary... loved the Bettles

Made the background paper and love the look of the bunny...

blogger will not allow me to write in the columns ... so sorry

a double medallion... which I love to make

Another background paper with tons of overlays....

LOVE OUT LOUD... with pretty floral cutouts...

Easter is on the way..

Okay.... so now you have seen all the cards for the day... and hopefully I will be back tomorrow with some more goodies to share with you...  if you would like to buy any of  these cards... also contact me...  trying hard to keep my extra room clean..  LOL... do you honestly think I can???

Love being back here talking with you..
Hope you have had a wonderful day...

A Day in December

WOW.... I am back again... it has been a tour of many different types...  Since I was last here, I have done so very many different things and had fun and enjoyment in all kinds of ways...

So I will share with you some of the things that I have made over the past months...  I have been busy getting ready for the boutiques held at the Agricultural Center in the center of Mill Springs...  it has been fun... and also a lot of planning on what to do, what to share etc...  but at this point I only have one more day down there... Saturday, and so I wanted to try and share these with you...

These are some shadow boxes that I just had to make...  once I make something that I really love, I can't stop... and so I had to make a few more...

The Sleigh Ride...  of course I forgot to take a picture of this with the LIGHTS all on...  but the lantern lights up and of course there is a 'candle' in the window...I get a little carried away with all the details... but I think that is what makes each one so very unique... like the skates hanging on the sleigh...  and a cookie cutter heart on the edge of the box...  all fun things that we do at Christmas time...

This one is a little bit different... and the window does have a candle that lights up...  and the tree is all decorated with with pearls...  I love the mess of stars that the moose is hanging out in...

Another lantern in the scene... with a pearl decorated tree... and lots of crystals to represent snow...  PEACE on earth...

More lights, lanterns, pearls on the tree and a handpainted mural in the background.  all Christmas feelings ....  you just need the music to accompany these.   and it will be a lovely day for all..

Have you ever bought something that YOU really didn't have any idea what you were going to use it for???  I generally dont' do that... I do have a general idea as to what I am going to do with most things I buy...  well this one package of paper was a real splurge... and it was bugging me... and finally I decided to make a set of a Never Ending Card, Eloquent Box and matching envelope out of it...  I think You might have seen this...

I just love this wonderful paper by Anna Griffin... her papers are so very eloquent and take you to another level of beautiful...   well... a lot of people fell in love with these...  and now have them as keepsakes, and also as presents for loved ones over the coming weeks...  so I decided to make some other sets, with a Never Ending Card, Envelope and box...

Here are a few of the boxes...  sorry I can't show you all of them...  I just haven't taken pictures yet...

Holly and Glitter... oh my... what sheer delight in my heart...  I love it...  the Glitter is so very red... and it is just perfect for this floral bouquet on the top of this box...  the Never Ending card and Envelope of course match it... what a wonderful way to present a gift to someone special in your life...

If you would like to have a set, please write to me... I will mail you out a set...

These Glittery balls are also a pretty sight...  with a soft bow on the top...  all so very light and pretty...  layered upon each other on this box top...

I love pinecones, red bows, holly leaves.. and so another box... with all that on it... and a lot of LOVE!!!!

I also have had another birthday since I last wrote on my blog... and am enjoying my 69th year on this earth walk.   So very much left to do, and my list keeps on getting longer and longer each day...  wow... will I ever get to the bottom???? I hope not...

I just wanted to say something to all of those of you who have sent letters of inquiry about different things... Glenn and I have been sick with this flu/cold thing... it is really not something I want to share with anyone...  Glenn really had it much worse than I did...  with a touch of his old malaria acting up again too...  we have not been 'sick' for over 40 years... so this really took a tole on us... but we are back on the path again... and enjoying life.  Now if they would tell us that we would have a high speed internet connection we would be even happier... but hey...  life deals us what we need to experience...  right???

Thanks so much for all your love and thoughts over the past few weeks...  I love you all.. .

Hope you have a wonderful Holiday time... Merry Christmas, and celebrate the holidays to the fullest...

Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Designer card and box

Sometimes when we do something it really turns out way beyond what you expected... I bought a ream of this paper and really didn't know what I was going to do with it... I just LOVED it...  when I got it...  I still wasn't real sure... and kept on looking at it... and finally it hit me to make a Designer Special Never Ending card with it...  and then the envelope developed... and then the box... I love it...

A trio of things from one ream of special paper... LOL.. that I wasn't really sure what I was going to do with it...

Please let me know what you think of it...
The stripe paper is by Designer Anna Griffin... so you know it is a good quality paper... very elegant to me... that is for sure...

I made up 12 never ending cards and can make a box to match.. I have a couple of boxes made... but can do them up for you... this makes a really nice holiday gift... in fact I am sending this to my Mom for one of her 94th Birthday presents...  filled with cashews... her favorite nut...  you can fill it with almost anything... including gift cards etc...

Just thought you would enjoy seeing it...
I love it and loved making it... and will love selling and giving these out...

Hope you have had a wonderful day...

HI to all of you.... so very sorry that it has been so very long since I have posted anything .... but the only excuse is that I have been very busy with so many other things...

Teaching, cooking up harvested things..,  getting ready for the Ag Center Saturday markets... all that kind of thing...  and on top of it... just having fun in the studio making all kinds of goodies...

So I thought after getting so many loving letters from ya'll that I had better share something with you...

Yesterday Sande... my Bud and neighbor came down to play...  she is having surgery this morning... and so my thoughts and love are with her for a QUICK Recovery ... but we did get to play prior to her having to stay home and stay quiet for a while...

So this is what I did while we played...

So I used a Tim Holtz box and re-arranged it a little bit...  putting a small one on the bottom, the largest in the middle and then a little one on the top...

I wanted the tree to section to be crowded...  which I did get that look with very few items in the box...

What fun Sande and I had...  She also created a wonderful box... entirely different than mine... all in Red, white and gold... but differently done...  and very elegant and pretty too...

This is the center of the box...
In the very background I did use a watercolor of little trees...  against a pink sky... which we see so very often here at dusk...

I used a gold garland around the tree and then used all different size pearls  to decorate it...

Oh the lantern..????
WAit...  until you see that all lite up... I love it..
On the very top is a little tiny tree all decorated too.. with sequins and pearls... and also some picket fence around all the pearls...  (Stickles that is... )

A little pair of ice skates are hanging there ready to be used... LOL... so much fun...

I had to wait until it got dark so that I could take this picture of the glimmering lantern...  I love the way it looks...

I am going to be selling this and others like this at the Ag Center Saturday markets...  in Mill Spring, NC...  What fun we all have there too...  so many people to meet and see...
Down in the bottom box... I have a votive light... and it shows up the little houses all in the circle...

Hope you have enjoyed this... I certainly did... and will try and take pictures of the other ones to share with you also...

Hope you have a wonderful day... create something fun and enjoy what you are doing all the time...  Thanks for stopping by for a visit...

Happy Tuesday to y'all....  it was a pretty day here...  all day long... but I had a long list of  things I wanted to get done ... one had been on my list for a very long time... very very long time...  and that was to make curtains for our bedroom...  and I finally sat down and made them... I still have to make a few more adjustments but for all practical purposes.... they are DONE.... YEAH...

So after that I decided to sit down and see what the Diva had up her sleeve for us today... and it was this...creating two tangles... knightsbridge and tipple... so even though I was dragging and still had to do dinner... I sat down and created this...

Not a very detailed one.. but I was happy that I got it done...  I was so very tired...  but you see then I sat down in my lazy boy.... and it was all over... I fell sound asleep...  for over 3 hours...  my sweet hubby made his own dinner, and I slept thru it... he was pretty quiet I guess... and I was tired... I really pushed to get those curtains done...

Anyway... so now I am walking all over the house... trying to make myself     TIRED!!!!!  I am getting there... so I thought I would blog this tangle... and it would be one less thing to do tomorrow.. since I will most likely be sleeping late... LOL... one thing really does effect the whole... doesn't it...

I am going to make bread tomorrow anyway... and need a long time to do that... I found a great gluten free recipe but it does take a long time to rise, and then rise again... and then cook... at least an hour for each... so I will play while that is going on... but need to be here...

So maybe you will see some more things...  but I am going to be making some general Never Ending cards... thanks to all of you have placed orders, I have to make more and more...  I just got my Christmas ones finished... and now need to make more every day colors... especially purple ones... seems like everyone this week needed purple...  a nice fall color...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit.. and hope that you have a lovey day...  keep the creative flow going and make something everyday...

Christmas Trees Galore

I have really tried to get on here prior to today... but have not been able to get a connection to do this... I am really having some serious trouble... and don't want to give up my computer...  but really getting at the end of the line.. . boo hoo...  this is not fair... it is all over greed on AT&T's corp ways...  they will not put in dsl or even decent phone lines down to our neighborhood...  there are about 10 of us waiting...  most of the other people have moved onto other methods, but our home sort of sits in a bowl... and between the trees and the land we are unable to get a good connection.,...  anyway... enough of that... I have been trying ...

So I started to work on Christmas cards, Christmas CD's and all that  kind of thing...  so here are some cards that appear in the newest CD...  It is from Tea Bag Folding class #11...  but it is all about TREES... cute little Christmas trees!!!!

I used up some papers that I had bought last year...  or maybe it was the year before that???? LOL... you know how that is...  anyway.. I had fun making these cards...

On the CD there is software to print you own tiles, all the directions... and you can always write to me... and ask 1000's of questions anyway...

I also used some new die cuts from Tim Holtz collections...  and of course a spellbinder or two...  love it all... don't you???

I had to have a 'flying reindeer' across a card... I love these reindeers that just sort of float above it all..

This tree is so very easy and so very effective on a card... and it will fold flat for mailing...  and puff up when opened...  I love the hedge row of trees in the background...  another new die...  I had to have it...  just a must for making Christmas cards...
Angels of the light...  so cute with a little tree as a memory of the season...  holly galore and of course the red berries...

I also of course had ti dye my own ribbon to match my creations... love inky fingers...
Waiting for Santa always is a childhood memory...  can't wait until Santa gets here...

I use to share a bedroom on Christmas eve with my little brother... and he had bunk beds... and he use to say he was going to sleep on the top bunk...  so  I would tell him, that was okay... as I could be the first out in the morning... and he would get upset... and then he would tell me I had to sleep on the top bunk... and I would say... that is okay... then I can hear Santa coming...  LOL.. he would end up sleeping on the floor out of fear that he would miss them both...

Love Making these little trees and I hope that you will too... on the CD there are directions to make all three tree styles... and also a tile making soft ware program... and tons of tiles... and also a lot of clip art to use on these projects...and over 50 cards that I have made over the years using these trees...   all for only $25.00  a real bargain in todays' market...  so let me know if you desire one.. . I can send you a Pay Pal bill, or what ever your choice is...  I am certainly flexible... that is for sure...

hope you have a wonderful day..  I am going to go make some more trees...  for more cards... to send to my friends, family and neighbors...

Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Computers????

Well I did try and post last week... but I am not really sure what is going on.... I have two computers and they were both rather
S  L  O   W

I was totally unable to do much of anything except get my e-mail on SOME occasions... not all the time, as sometimes it wouldn't even connect...  so I stripped out my desk style computer and put it all on an external hard drive...  and it is now empty... weird feeling to say the least.... so when I got in this computer this morning... I was shocked to get the amazing connection of 32.8 kbps...  yipppppeeee.....  it has not even connected prior to this... so that was awesome... I know that most of you are in the 3 and 4 G.... and I am not even in the MBPS.... LOL... sad but true...

But hey.. I try and keep up a little bit...
So I made Never ending cards for the Fall season...  and then started making Christmas ones for sale too...  so I will have over 100 never ending cards to sell...  which will just about be good for me...  I most likely will make a few more... but hey... it's a start...

I did tangle a little bit... and here is what I created...
It was done with a red gelly roll pen...  and it is only about 3x 3.... not very big.. and on the back of my shopping list...  not good either...  as I will have to rewrite that ....  I will not loose a tangle..

Tangles to me should really be done in black... so this looks so very weird to me... but change is good...  the gelly roll pen did have a very fine point... so I was able to really work small...  actually tinier than normal....

I did use the newest Tangle from Maria and Rick... I really love it... I did one last week too...  love this tangle...  really fun and very easy to create a lot of different feelings with it..  Thanks Maria and Rick for the new tangle... and Thanks Laura for using it for a challenge...

Well upon checking the I am the DIVA challenge this morning... Low and behold... the challenge was to create and then to color it...  so I guess last Monday I was just a week early and didn't know it...

So I sat down at some time today and tangled ... and then colored it after dinner...

Here it is...

I had a lot of fun with this one... and I really love the way it turned out...I wanted to use a lot of color... and I did...  I also used a medium that I have not used that often... it is Gelato's.... and when you turn the page side ways  you can see the glittery effect that some of the colors have... LOVE IT...what neat little sticks of color.   I used most of the colors... and was pretty happy with that part of it too...

Hope you had fun with this one... and I sure would LOVE to see all the ones that you did...  I miss seeing all the pretty things that every one else creates...  but maybe soon I will be able to connect to something so that I can see everything!!!!  What fun that will be.

Hope you had a great day... and have another GREAT day tomorrow...

Thanks for stopping by for a visit... and see you soon... I am trying to get on here more often.. .but things keep on happening around here...  so I try... .

Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
