It's all in Black and white

I had so very much fun making these fun little boxes...
All in Black and White... very formal and yet so very there...
Just love them...

Okay.. the process...  a lot of times I just do  things without thinking... and this was truly one of those times...
I had just tangled and then I put the pictures into the computer and then when I went to 'shrink' them... they went into the wrong program and I made tea bag tiles out of the pictures... wow... what a nice mistake... so I had to see what would happen with them... and so I made a FEW boxes and but the medallions on the top... pretty snazzy HUH???

I really love the way they look...

What do you think..???

Here is a family portrait of them all... LOL... I love these little boxes...  so much fun to make and give as cute little gifts...

You can find the directions on how to make the boxes on my blog kre8tivekits.blogspot.com...  they are fun easy and as soon as you learn to make them... you will me making 100's of them... believe you me...

I think this one is my very favorite... I have made a couple exactly like this one...  as it is so nice...

The black little half pearls make it too...

Tell me that isn't striking looking... I love it... so very black and white...  can you see the little hearts in there too...??? How cute is that...

I will be publishing the tiles soon too... are you interested in having them too???  Just let me know...
Had to show you some close ups of the tiles etc... so really fun...
When you see them in real life, they are really prettier... but they are pretty here too... at least I think they are...

No that is a little bit closer for you to see....  love it.. some of the tiles almost have the look of money... just sort of.... not really.... although some of the lighter colored ones do have a greenish tint to them.. .LOL... well... it is not money at all... just a lot of fun...

These are two little ones... they are only a couple of inches across...  so very cute... a word inside... like I love you... and the gift is complete...

 A little bit closer yet...
This is my favorite ...  it actually puffs up in the center of the box..
This is a 4x4 box.. and very regal in its' own right...

Same box... just a different view...

Well that is it for now... we are still getting rain... and even though it is not raining right this minute... it feels like it is going to....  so hold on soil...  no more washing away...

Thanks for stopping in for a visit... I am still here making things... and having fun doing it all... my studio looks like a mess plus... but hey... no one is going to see it this way... so no a huge problem at all...  it is my space afterall...  right???

Enjoy what you are doing... and have a great day...

A few more thoughts

Last night I sat down to tangle a little bit prior to settling in for the night...  and when I open this one little container... I found all kinds of tangling that I had never finished... or even posted... so here are a few of them... they were for past challenges...  so I have posted them on the DIVA'S site as well...I guess that sometimes I get so relaxed that I totally forget all about what I have done... LOL.. .so very true.

I have loved this type of tangle for years...  and I finally sat down and did it...  so much fun... thanks for the push Maria... really a great one...

LOVE your book too...  you and Rick really put in all the love into this one... that is for sure...  LOVE it and respect the honesty of it too...
Sometimes when you see a new tangle you just have to try and do it.. this one looked easier than it is... I will have to practice this one...  and then it will be second nature... but for now... UGH...  a little more effort is needed on my part...
Birdies' feet...  LOL.. .running around a few dew drops... or paisleys ...  just fun..
sometimes I am not really sure where I am going with some things...  this is it...  just this on a tile!!!!
I had started this one a long time ago... and then finished part of it.. and then finally finished it...  sort of neat... in a funny way...
Another one????  Still can't remember doing some of these... funny how the mind remembers what it wants to... LOL...  anyway... a fun tangle
I really never finished this one... maybe someday I will get around to finishing all these undone ones...

In my spare time...

Have you ever had a thumb drive not copy correctly..??? Well I am trying to repair a file from that happening.. .and it is about ready to drive me crazy.. . if you have any answers for this.. please let me know... the data seems to be sliding???  and not saving it correctly... weirdest thing...

Well have a great day...  stay dry if it is raining by you... it is thinking of doing it again today...  we have really had enough rain now... but we don't need more drought either... a balance of weather would really be great...

Think Love, and send it to yourself first.. and then out to the world...  we need to help the People of the world think love... and be kind and loving to each other...

Thanks for taking your precious time to look at my blog... and thanks so very much for all the kind comments... wish I could return them all...  but I have now been over 2 hours just posting this blog... so to down load just one blog takes over 1.5 hours...  so I just sort of pass on it... someday when they put in the lines so that we can have high speed internet, I will be returning the much love that pours into comments on this blog... thanks again... I love you greatly...

WORLD PEACE NOW ! ! ! !

In the 60's I was screaming world peace also... and it seems that everything we do in life comes in cycles... and here I am again screaming WORLD PEACE NOW! ! ! !   WE are in need of this action NOW...  if each and every person that sees this blog, thinks of LOVE for 5 minutes a day, the world would start to heal...  that is not very much time in the course of our day... If you really love life, spend all day thinking of LOVE.. send it to everyone on the face of this wonderful Earth Mother...  unconditionally, and in all ways...  LOVE...  simple enough.. please help us all...  we all need to be able to live in PEACE... too many horrible things are going on all over the world these days...  and it is not necessary at all...

So my Tangle this week for the Diva's Challenge is two fold...
Laura created some wonderful tangles...  they are truly wonderful... I don't have that much time to create tangles this week... but the thought behind my is HUGE...  Laura asked us to incorporate a stencil in and around the tangles...  the stencil I used was random numbers... representing the hours of the day that we need to think of LOVE...  the seconds on the face of a clock that people are suffering all over the world, due to wars, and unnecessary unlove...  so we need to think LOVE all the time...  send it out to everyone..

Time is escaping us... and the hours are randomly leaving too.... think and live in love...  now...

Thanks for stopping by here for a visit... and I do hope that you are able to help in the effort to create the healing of our world...

Hope you hve a loving day... filled with LOVE in all ways... and that everyone around you is able to share in that love too...

WOW... The rain is making food!!

Sometimes we look at things in a way that we shouldn't...  like this rain... wow... I have been screaming for years about the drought... and finally we have rain... lots of it...  I have been  told that even though it has been raining for weeks now on a regular basis... that we are still 9 inches below normal...  that is how bad it has been here... but now wow... way too much... hopefully it will balance out soon...  it has rained off and on all day today...  and the sun has also come out off and on too...

So Glenn, my sweet hubby, went out on a mushroom walk... and this is what he found...

Chantarelle's!!!  WOW... they are the BEST ever...  so I decided to make a really gourmet dinner for us with these elegant beauties...

Have you ever had them???
They are so very special...

This is what they look like up close...
And this is the under side of them...

Well... I wanted to make it a nice simple meal... but ever so special...  so I sauteed a shallot, green scallions, just a couple, a few fresh cloves of garlic that was harvested yesterday... and the Chantarelle's... Then when I felt they were ready... I added Artichoke Hearts... and mean while, Glenn was cooking some Rice noodles...  we don't eat wheat or anything with Gluten... and these particular rice noodles are wonderful...  cook up like they were wheat...  and are yummie too...

Then I shredded some raw milk cheddar, and sliced an avocado ...
When the noodles were on the plate... I put some of the chantarelle's, and artichoke on the noodles... and then added the sliced avocado  and then put some shredded cheese on the top... oh wow... what a special treat this was... simple, and elegant...

WE totally enjoyed this simple elegant meal to the fullest... and to think that these beautiful mushrooms were growing on our land is another thing again...  we will be able to harvest a lot of them this coming week... thank you Earth Mother for all the bounty you give to us...  we love it.

Well...
I wanted to share with you some tea bag folding... I love doing these kinds of things... actually I become very addicted to tea bag folding... as I really love the outcome and the act of creating with the medallions...

If you are interested in knowing more about this art form...  please go to my other blog called Medallion Art   I have quite a few classes available for you to partake in...  it is a fun art... and will help to make all kinds of projects POP!!!

I think that this box is really special... as are about 30 others I have made... LOL.. I told you I was addicted to this...  and I am...

I will show you a few more next week... I have them on the other computer and am waiting for a modem, so I can connect to the internet with this lap top...  never a dull moment around here...  EVER...

Thanks for stopping by here for a visit... I love you for just stopping in for a few minutes... and hope you have enjoyed my babble... LOL...

have a wonderful day tomorrow... Sunday... enjoy every minute of it...  100% ....

A Snail and Birds Feet???

Oh I know I have been very lax about coming on here the past two weeks... I have had so many things that had to be done... so maybe now I can show you some of the things that I have been doing...
I have to take pictures... but I have been having fun to say the least...

Also finally got around to scanning in some tangles that I have done over the past couple of weeks too... not that many, as my hands have been creating other things too...  (later on those pictures... )

I did this while talking with our son...  it was a very good conversation for me...  and I totally enjoyed it...  very positive and hopefully it will come to happen for us all very soon...  so this TIA is a very good one for me...  and it is also for the Diva's Challenge this week where she is asking for us to create the Tangle called Birdie Feet.... I really didn't know what I was going to do at first... in fact I did a couple of tiles using it ... and didn't like them at all.. a first time for everything...  and finally I decided to use it as a border design... and I love it...  Very fluid and free flowing with curved lines and also with solid straight ones...   a new house for the snail...  in so many ways...
These other TIA's have been done at odd times... and I really can't remember when I even did them... but they were fun.. that much I can remember...  and they also helped me to relax and get to sleep.. which when I am creating, sleep doesn't come easy...  LOL...  I cn stay up all night long... and then when I see the sun rising... oooops... I better go to bed and sleep... just a little bit...  LOL...  this makes for very weird days...

When I was working on this one... it reminded me of looking into one of those Easter eggs...  and finally you see the little Spring scene...  with the rabbit and a few little eggs, etc...

The ins and outs of life...  yikes...  what a fun piece this was... I love this tangle... and always enjoy creating it...  a really fun and challenging tangle that you never know what is going to happen with it...
I also have started to get some things back into my life that have been missing over the past 10 years... one of them is that I am again playing my Native American cedar flute... and it feels so very good...  so I had to do a little tangle for the Native in me...   a little feathers and some smug will do the spirit so very much ... and then add the music from the flute.. wow I am in heaven...

I do hope that you are able to please yourself with positive actions and release the things that are not to your liking...  add new things, make changes, and be free with growing...  things I am working on...  and it feels so very good.

Thanks for taking a look and stopping by for a visit... and hope that your 4th of July is and was a happy one... and hope that if you live in Canada that your Canada Day was also a good one...

All these rains have created so very much flooding... all over the world... hopefully we will all be able to pull our selves into a positive space and move into a dryer life style...  think balance and harmony for the Earth Mother...

Have a great day... Love, Light and Peace... Bonnie

Another Rainy Day

I think I have written more about the droughts we have had over the past years... but this year has totally made up for all the lack of rain... now we have puddles of water on the farm beds...  yuckie... not a good thing...  The sweet Potatoes don't like that much water...  LOL... neither does the garlic!!!  but they are doing good... so we will allow nature to do what it does best...  create good tasting food for us.

Being Monday I went to the DIVA's challenge... and found that we are suppose to create an un tangle... so I had a hard time doing that... in some ways...  but since I am a doodler from way back... it just let the pen and pencil take over while talking on the phone...

Here are a couple that I have done today... my tangling day...
I just love doing this 'tangle' that Rick has on line... it is really a fun tangle for me... and so I added some soft leaves and pearls around it...  just love it...

What a fun one... I still am not doing it 100% correctly... but hey... I love it... so that is all that counts...

Then I had to balance things out... so I gave one of Maria's tangles a turn.. and I love this one too... OMGoodness.. more things to love...

After the warm up... I started on the challenge...   I started to play around with different things.. and before I knew it I had pears growing all over my tile...  These are all on 3.5 x 3.5 tiles... (actually cardstock that I cut)

Anyway... I had fun with it... and had to get in some hearts... I am not really sure if any of these are tangles or not...  so ... you be the judge.....LOL....

After looking at the pears... I saw that the shading looked like an apple... so I had to do one with a pear... with an apple inside it..  I do have fun... and that is really what life is all about... if you are not having fun in your life... take a serious look at who you are and where you are at... and start making changes... serious ones...

My husband and I have been reading a lot of books and have been working on all kinds of positive affirmations... and it is really helping... I am not wearing my glasses at all anymore... and it has been three weeks... and I have worn these things for over 50 plus years...  actually more... but who is counting... way too LONG... and now I am FREE of them...  I love it... we are really enjoying things more.. not that we haven't always... but just MORE...  life is too short not to enjoy it...

I have a huge pile of books that are waiting to be digested... and every night we try and read for at least 2 hours or so.. so much better than the TV...  and you become smarted instead of dumber... LOL...  truth...

Well have a good evening... enjoy yourself... and laugh, live and love...

More Fun and Creations...

Sometimes I have the time to allow the computer to do wondrous things... like download a blog...  so yesterday was one of those GREAT times... and I downloaded Zentangle .   It took over an hour for me to see anything... but then I had a page of EYE CANDY...

If you go there... you can see all the pretties yourself.. they really stole my eyes... and even though I was suppose to make dinner... I took the time and wrote a comment... another long process...  and wrote to Maria and Rick... what great things they GIVE to us...

Anyway... after dinner I had to grab my pen and see if it could do these magical things that Maria's and Rick's pens do...  (LOL!!!!)
Of course mine are no where near theirs... but I did have a lot of fun.. and when I practice a little bit, I am sure that I will use these all again and again...

So with more ado.. .
this is what my pen did...

These are all 3.5 X 3.5 tiles... and still not wearing glasses... and using a .005 and .01 points ....  wow... I am still amazed...  my eyes feel better and more relaxed....  never would have believed it.

I am showing you the order that I created these tiles in... First off I had to try that continuous ribbon in the center of the sunflower...  LOVE IT... it was not as easy I thought it would be... but so much fun.. I will do this one again... as it is a challenge to do it..
Rick.. you are something else.. . this is great fun... and really a challenge too...  looks easier than it is...  and again this one is a lot of fun too...

This hollibaugh flower is lovely... I am going to play with this again hopefully tomorrow night...  I added the loops and  then when I was shading... I added more...  so much fun and I love the layers...  yours, Maria's are so pretty...  I hope that after a few I will be more fluid with these... My pen was a little stiff... LOL..
At first I didnt' like this one... but after the 2 try it was like eating peanuts... I did a few more...  but like this one the best...   a really fun tangle...

makes your mind stretch a bit...

Since I LOVE mooka.. this one was a really love... so I saved it for last...  my grid in the back again was done with my shading pencil...  and I like it...  not as strong as the front lines...  softer.

WEll again it was so very much fun... and I do hope that everyone is able to go to the ZENTANGLE site and study these great pieces ... and then have some fun with them... I will play some again tonight... yey...

Thanks for taking a look see... and check out the Diva's site this week... there are so many grids to play with...  I love them...  never liked them prior ...  but am having fun exploring them... thanks for pushing us there Laura...  I really needed it..

Hope that you all have a wonderful day...  and enjoy the eye candy at these sites...  Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Grids...

Well we finally saw the sun yesterday!!!  Amazingly so too... it was really wonderful!!!!  We have had so very much rain... so very unlike our 'normal' weather patterns... but it is good in some ways... as we really needed it.. .

I have been busy with so many different things... getting classes ready for the fall... and also redoing so very many things...  also spending a lot of time reading... I am still not wearing my glasses... and I have to say that I really feel so very much better..  That book is wonderful.. I am sort of peeling off the layers of denial in life... and it is good..  I never really looked at glasses in that manner... but when you start to look (no pun intended)  it is so very true.

Well this week Laura... I am the Diva challenge has given us a challenge that I had been playing with prior to Monday.. so I had a few of these done...  so last night I sat down and did one more...

What fun...

I had to try to do something entirely different... so I added this across a 3.5 x 3.5 tile...  and then put the grid in the background... a very interesting process... unlike any I have done prior...  simple and yet complete.

Three little birds...  and then a very easy background grid.

Had to get some leaves in there for the little ones to perch on... LOL... my critters love comfort and small pleasures in life..

This morning I saw the prettiest blue bird in the front yard... I don't see many of them... but when I do, they just are so wonderfully blue and sweet... love seeing them in the yard.

I had been staring at a basket and wanted to see if I could sort of get something similar to it... this is sort of really what it looks like...  the basket weave is really funny...  but an open sort of weave.
Still having fun with Birds on a wire...  and added one that was a little bit larger... LOL... and of course some mooka...

When I start to play... I have really no ideas in my head... and go where the pen takes me...

I love just doing my tangles and the outcome of the finished tile.

I added somethings that were plain and simple... love that kind of thing..
 Circles on circles...
and then loops on loops...

I cut a pile of 3.5 x 3.5 tiles from cardstock and have them sitting on a table.. and can just grab and go...  so at times I have to allow a purk to come thru... my favorite tangle...
Me and my flowers... I have to have flowers in my day of some kind...  that is all there is to it...

So along came the birds on a wire... flowers... and an odd tripoli...  oh well... such is life in the zen world.
Another one of  those things that you have to try and see what happens...  not the best... in fact rather weird... but at least it is different.. .

The Aura knot came out too... and then some leaves and plants growing all around it...

it is bound into the paper with all the ways I could do it...  had fun with this little tile.. .

Thanks again to Maria, Rick and Laura... I love playing with these..

Hope you have a WONDERFULLY DELIGHTFUL day... and enjoy it all... I am going to pick up my studio, which is trashed... and try to make it a little bit more user friendly... LOL.. so I will be doing all the things that I like... i have a whole stack of new tiles to play with... so you never know what I will create with my tea bag folding today...

Have a fun day... and thank you for taking your time to stop by for a visit...  I love all the wonderful comments you leave... thank you very very much.
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Birds on the Wire

This week I have taken time each day to do at least ONE TIA...  Just feels so good to do one.. . maybe a couple...  But it does help me sleep better...

Sometimes just drawing lines is so very mindful...  and then adding a few things like beads and ropes...

And of course a little snail...

And last week the Diva's challenge was Bales... so that was still floating in my mind..

and PURK... my all time favorite.
Again some bales... but all kinds of things in this one...
Wanted to get movement on the go...  LOL..

A funny string... but one that allowed the greens to grow on up thru the scene...
A horn of some kind releasing some NOISE....
maybe a New Years Eve Party...  a lot of fun anyway...

I didn't know if I would like this one... but it is growing on me...  second by second...

and a cluster of PURKs...  Love them...

I love shells too... have a lot collected around the house in bottles, jars, etc...

And Last but not least... My challenge TIA for this weeks Diva Challenge...

Birds on a line...
Cute tangle... and very fun... Thanks Laura for bringing this one to our attention...  being on dial up, I miss so very much...

I also made some other things this week... but I will share them with you tomorrow.. I have to take pictures and then edit them for dial up .... have to make them smaller...

The weather has been really good here this week... we finally had a rain day... and it rained all day yesterday... it was perfect...  loved it all.. hope that you have a good week... and that your creative flow is going GREAT...  I have a couple of classes this week.... and am excited about teaching them...

We are making Metal boxes... so if you are local and would like to attend I have a seat left in each class...  just let me know..

Thanks for stopping by for a visit...
