Another Rainy Day
I think I have written more about the droughts we have had over the past years... but this year has totally made up for all the lack of rain... now we have puddles of water on the farm beds... yuckie... not a good thing... The sweet Potatoes don't like that much water... LOL... neither does the garlic!!! but they are doing good... so we will allow nature to do what it does best... create good tasting food for us.
Being Monday I went to the DIVA's challenge... and found that we are suppose to create an un tangle... so I had a hard time doing that... in some ways... but since I am a doodler from way back... it just let the pen and pencil take over while talking on the phone...
Here are a couple that I have done today... my tangling day...
I just love doing this 'tangle' that Rick has on line... it is really a fun tangle for me... and so I added some soft leaves and pearls around it... just love it...
What a fun one... I still am not doing it 100% correctly... but hey... I love it... so that is all that counts...
Then I had to balance things out... so I gave one of Maria's tangles a turn.. and I love this one too... OMGoodness.. more things to love...
After the warm up... I started on the challenge... I started to play around with different things.. and before I knew it I had pears growing all over my tile... These are all on 3.5 x 3.5 tiles... (actually cardstock that I cut)
Anyway... I had fun with it... and had to get in some hearts... I am not really sure if any of these are tangles or not... so ... you be the judge.....LOL....
After looking at the pears... I saw that the shading looked like an apple... so I had to do one with a pear... with an apple inside it.. I do have fun... and that is really what life is all about... if you are not having fun in your life... take a serious look at who you are and where you are at... and start making changes... serious ones...
My husband and I have been reading a lot of books and have been working on all kinds of positive affirmations... and it is really helping... I am not wearing my glasses at all anymore... and it has been three weeks... and I have worn these things for over 50 plus years... actually more... but who is counting... way too LONG... and now I am FREE of them... I love it... we are really enjoying things more.. not that we haven't always... but just MORE... life is too short not to enjoy it...
I have a huge pile of books that are waiting to be digested... and every night we try and read for at least 2 hours or so.. so much better than the TV... and you become smarted instead of dumber... LOL... truth...
Well have a good evening... enjoy yourself... and laugh, live and love...

More Fun and Creations...
Sometimes I have the time to allow the computer to do wondrous things... like download a blog... so yesterday was one of those GREAT times... and I downloaded Zentangle . It took over an hour for me to see anything... but then I had a page of EYE CANDY...
If you go there... you can see all the pretties yourself.. they really stole my eyes... and even though I was suppose to make dinner... I took the time and wrote a comment... another long process... and wrote to Maria and Rick... what great things they GIVE to us...
Anyway... after dinner I had to grab my pen and see if it could do these magical things that Maria's and Rick's pens do... (LOL!!!!)
Of course mine are no where near theirs... but I did have a lot of fun.. and when I practice a little bit, I am sure that I will use these all again and again...
So with more ado.. .
this is what my pen did...
These are all 3.5 X 3.5 tiles... and still not wearing glasses... and using a .005 and .01 points .... wow... I am still amazed... my eyes feel better and more relaxed.... never would have believed it.
I am showing you the order that I created these tiles in... First off I had to try that continuous ribbon in the center of the sunflower... LOVE IT... it was not as easy I thought it would be... but so much fun.. I will do this one again... as it is a challenge to do it..
Rick.. you are something else.. . this is great fun... and really a challenge too... looks easier than it is... and again this one is a lot of fun too...
This hollibaugh flower is lovely... I am going to play with this again hopefully tomorrow night... I added the loops and then when I was shading... I added more... so much fun and I love the layers... yours, Maria's are so pretty... I hope that after a few I will be more fluid with these... My pen was a little stiff... LOL..
At first I didnt' like this one... but after the 2 try it was like eating peanuts... I did a few more... but like this one the best... a really fun tangle...
makes your mind stretch a bit...
Since I LOVE mooka.. this one was a really love... so I saved it for last... my grid in the back again was done with my shading pencil... and I like it... not as strong as the front lines... softer.
WEll again it was so very much fun... and I do hope that everyone is able to go to the ZENTANGLE site and study these great pieces ... and then have some fun with them... I will play some again tonight... yey...
Thanks for taking a look see... and check out the Diva's site this week... there are so many grids to play with... I love them... never liked them prior ... but am having fun exploring them... thanks for pushing us there Laura... I really needed it..
Hope that you all have a wonderful day... and enjoy the eye candy at these sites... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Grids...
Well we finally saw the sun yesterday!!! Amazingly so too... it was really wonderful!!!! We have had so very much rain... so very unlike our 'normal' weather patterns... but it is good in some ways... as we really needed it.. .
I have been busy with so many different things... getting classes ready for the fall... and also redoing so very many things... also spending a lot of time reading... I am still not wearing my glasses... and I have to say that I really feel so very much better.. That book is wonderful.. I am sort of peeling off the layers of denial in life... and it is good.. I never really looked at glasses in that manner... but when you start to look (no pun intended) it is so very true.
Well this week Laura... I am the Diva challenge has given us a challenge that I had been playing with prior to Monday.. so I had a few of these done... so last night I sat down and did one more...
What fun...
I had to try to do something entirely different... so I added this across a 3.5 x 3.5 tile... and then put the grid in the background... a very interesting process... unlike any I have done prior... simple and yet complete.
Three little birds... and then a very easy background grid.
Had to get some leaves in there for the little ones to perch on... LOL... my critters love comfort and small pleasures in life..
This morning I saw the prettiest blue bird in the front yard... I don't see many of them... but when I do, they just are so wonderfully blue and sweet... love seeing them in the yard.
I had been staring at a basket and wanted to see if I could sort of get something similar to it... this is sort of really what it looks like... the basket weave is really funny... but an open sort of weave.
Still having fun with Birds on a wire... and added one that was a little bit larger... LOL... and of course some mooka...
When I start to play... I have really no ideas in my head... and go where the pen takes me...
I love just doing my tangles and the outcome of the finished tile.
I added somethings that were plain and simple... love that kind of thing..
Circles on circles...
and then loops on loops...
I cut a pile of 3.5 x 3.5 tiles from cardstock and have them sitting on a table.. and can just grab and go... so at times I have to allow a purk to come thru... my favorite tangle...
Me and my flowers... I have to have flowers in my day of some kind... that is all there is to it...
So along came the birds on a wire... flowers... and an odd tripoli... oh well... such is life in the zen world.
Another one of those things that you have to try and see what happens... not the best... in fact rather weird... but at least it is different.. .
The Aura knot came out too... and then some leaves and plants growing all around it...
it is bound into the paper with all the ways I could do it... had fun with this little tile.. .
Thanks again to Maria, Rick and Laura... I love playing with these..
Hope you have a WONDERFULLY DELIGHTFUL day... and enjoy it all... I am going to pick up my studio, which is trashed... and try to make it a little bit more user friendly... LOL.. so I will be doing all the things that I like... i have a whole stack of new tiles to play with... so you never know what I will create with my tea bag folding today...
Have a fun day... and thank you for taking your time to stop by for a visit... I love all the wonderful comments you leave... thank you very very much.
Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie

Birds on the Wire
This week I have taken time each day to do at least ONE TIA... Just feels so good to do one.. . maybe a couple... But it does help me sleep better...
Sometimes just drawing lines is so very mindful... and then adding a few things like beads and ropes...
And of course a little snail...
And last week the Diva's challenge was Bales... so that was still floating in my mind..
and PURK... my all time favorite.
Again some bales... but all kinds of things in this one...
Wanted to get movement on the go... LOL..
A funny string... but one that allowed the greens to grow on up thru the scene...
A horn of some kind releasing some NOISE....
maybe a New Years Eve Party... a lot of fun anyway...
I didn't know if I would like this one... but it is growing on me... second by second...
and a cluster of PURKs... Love them...
I love shells too... have a lot collected around the house in bottles, jars, etc...
And Last but not least... My challenge TIA for this weeks Diva Challenge...
Birds on a line...
Cute tangle... and very fun... Thanks Laura for bringing this one to our attention... being on dial up, I miss so very much...
I also made some other things this week... but I will share them with you tomorrow.. I have to take pictures and then edit them for dial up .... have to make them smaller...
The weather has been really good here this week... we finally had a rain day... and it rained all day yesterday... it was perfect... loved it all.. hope that you have a good week... and that your creative flow is going GREAT... I have a couple of classes this week.... and am excited about teaching them...
We are making Metal boxes... so if you are local and would like to attend I have a seat left in each class... just let me know..
Thanks for stopping by for a visit...
